Gliding Shelves

We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel project and I’m so happy I found out about Gliding Shelves. They’re a bit out of my way since I live in Northern San Jose, but we had no problems getting them to come out for the installation.
The shelves were exactly as we had picked out earlier. Very well built, beautiful color, and they matched perfectly with out oak floors! Andy and his team got straight to work on the installation shortly after they arrived. The installation didn’t take long at all, maybe 45 minutes at the most. I had honestly expected to pay a lot more for the installation, but they gave me a very reasonable deal overall.
So far we are enjoying our new shelves immensely! It has saved us a ton of space in what I already consider a small kitchen and they go so well with the other décor in the room. I cannot wait until our kitchen is finished now, highly recommend these guys.

We have been using our Gliding Shelves for two months now and are thrilled with them! Andy measured our pantry, island and narrow cabinet for adjustable shelves. He also suggested adding two drawers where we had false fronts below the cooktop, giving us extra space that we weren’t expecting. Awesome! The quality of the full extension shelves and drawers is excellent! We like that they are locally made and Andy was fantastic to work with. He was realistic in his time estimate and had everything installed earlier than planned. A+ for Gliding Shelves!

i have to go on record as saying we are so VERY happy with our GLIDING SHELVES. The pull outs were put in my daughters home, with whom I now live. They have given us a whole new kitchen experience. As well as adding the GLIDING SHELVES in the kitchen to completely utilize the space under the cook surface with 2, yes two, pull outs, and also converted under counter space to become a wonderful pantry area.
Pull outs were added under three bathroom sinks and one in the linen closet in my (grandma’s) bathroom to make it easier for me to get to my medical supplies. GLIDING SHELVES performed and delivered exactly as promised. installation was on time, completed quickly with no mess AND everyone involved was so pleasant. Totally customer friendly. Andy and team are fabulous. We have recommended GLIDING SHELVES already and will continue to do so. They are the best!

For years our lack of a pantry caused us to overflow our food and supplies into our office. Gliding shelves have completely changed our kitchen. Andy and the Gliding Shelves team are awesome. I live in Mountain View and drove all the away to Dublin to meet Andy and tour his business. I was very impressed with the his showroom and the work he have done. I hired him on the spot to install roll-​out shelves for my entire house. He is very professional and doesn’t cut corner! His price is amazing compare to the monopoly business we have in the peninsula/​south bay. I am still in love with my shelves and get so many compliments from friends and family. Go hire Andy!

Love the gliding shelves that were installed today! Great way to get organized and be able to see what you have. Had 5 cabinets done. Our new house did not have a spice rack so we made one. It’s the BEST — love seeing what spices I have. I would recommend this company.

I am in LOVE with my new pullouts! I had a useless kitchen full of undercounter cabinets and nothing overhead. I was constantly bending over and unable to access anything. After my pull outs… I have too much storage and actually have empty cabinets now. The owner was so sweet, professional, and everything was delivered ahead of schedule as they knew I was getting ready to deliver my second child. Why didn’t i call them sooner!

These shelves are life-​changing! I called Andy to get shelves put in our very small pantry so I could reach to the back of the mess and find the can I’ve been searching for! Andy showed up to give the estimate, and we before he left we ended up getting 7 other cabinets done along with the pantry — 23 shelves — even under the sink!
The shelves are beautiful, Andy and his team were incredibly professional throughout the process and I have absolutely nothing critical to say (which is saving alot for me!) Everything was so impressive, from estimate to installation, that I got him back a few weeks later to put a frame around our frameless mirror in our master bathroom.
Now I feel like I’ve got a brand new kitchen and brand new master bath — I show all my visitors whenever they come over… seriously, you have GOT to get this stuff done!

I have been wanting pull-​out shelves in my pantry for years but there (was) a post in the center that kept me from searching for a solution. I finally caved and called the number from the ad in the Home Magazine and made an appointment. Andy came out, described the process of removing the post and keeping the doors intact with the same refacing. By the time he left hehad taken measurements for all my kitchen cabinets and 3 bathroom cabinets (and 5 shelves in the pantry!). He told us it would take about 3 weeks to build the shelves and the installation would be quick. He didn’t lie… in 3 weeks I had a new kitchen and bath and I was able to finally organize both. Andy and Pedro were so professional and I would recommend their work to my best friend in a heartbeat. How did I ever live without???

The whole process of researching, purchasing and installing our gliding shelves was so seamless thanks to Andy and his team! These shelves are one of those investments you don’t realize you need until you find out it exists. Now, months later, we are so glad we had these installed. They’ve increased the value on our home and more importantly, they’ve made our lives a lot easier! We’re now using things that were previously unreachable and everything feels so organized!

We are thrilled with our 37 new Gliding Shelves that were installed by Andy and his assistant three weeks ago. The whole process was great: Andy’s showroom and workroom are immaculate, he is personable and straightforward about his pricing (including per-​shelf quotes over the phone), he was very helpful in making recommendations as he surveyed our cupboards, and he had the shelves ready sooner than we could have them installed, so he waited a week.
The shelves are beautiful, and provide ease and access. Getting them brought us two rather unexpected bonuses: In emptying 37 shelves we found lots of stuff we could give away or discard — and the process of putting items back in all these now-​accessible lower cupboards gave us a chance to reorganize much more logically (though we are still having to think about where a certain item is now :-)
We are so delighted we went ahead with this project, and we recommend Gliding Shelves without reservation!

I just had to write this review. Let me just explain what happened. I totally forgot that I had an appointment with Andy today… I was at work and he called. Well to make a long story short, Andy waited 45 mins for the door to open to my house and he installed his high quality gliding shelves in 30 mins! Buy it gets better… He took out all my kitchen items and neatly organized them for me… who does that!!! Now that’s customer service. This company rocks !!! I would highly recommended him to anyone looking for kitchen pull out shelves. Thanks again Andy!!!

I am a local designer and contacted Gliding Shelves’ sub-​company to have my client’s mirrors framed. They did a wonderful job on the craftsmanship, they were fast, and they were reasonably priced. They have a decent selection of frames. As a designer, I like a wider selection, but what they have suffices for probably 95% of the population. Andy arrived quickly for both the estimate and for installation, which was completed in less than 1 hour. My clients and I are very pleased, and I will definitely call Andy again in the future for my other bathroom projects.

Last week I had my Gliding Shelves by Andy. This is a family business. They are all very professional, kind and nice people. Andy did his job perfect and professionally. I as so glad of my dessication to this in our kitchen cabinets. They were so on time so neat and perfect job. Who ever came to our house I showed them and everybody admire their job.

I just have my gliding shelves installed yesterday by Andy and his associate and it was seamless; very clean and very fast! I absolutely love how they look and I can’t believe 12 gliding shelves were install in 30 minutes and they are so nice and sturdy! I also am amazed how much I can store on the shelves and can see without hunting like I use to in the past.
I have primarily adjustable and would highly recommend since it gives you more options with space. Andy made some recommendation when he came to measure and I’m glad he did! I would highly recommend him and his product!
