In, out, done, BOOM! Joe showed up on our scheduled day for a small repair and knocked it out quickly. He explained to me the technique that has evolved over the last several years for repairs and blended the texture with our existing wall. You cant even see where the damage was — unless you know to look for it and even then, its super hard to find!
If we need repair work — or even a larger job in the future, this will be our first call.

Joe is great. He & Jesus did a perfect job replacing my bathroom ceiling (after some water damage) and repainting the whole bathroom. He responded to my request for an estimate the next day, got me the estimate with in a couple days and started the job ASAP. And they completed the job in one day!!! He even kept me posted and sent me pics of the progress throughout the day. He definitely made my first home repair project a pleasant one. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

He painted the exterior of my house and did an excellent job, no cutting corners, and working with him was an exceptional experience. I will be using Joe again for the interior of my house. This is my second time using this contractor. Contracts signed and start dates honored. All work specified so no surprises during job.
Prep work is the key to any painting project and this is where Joe and crew shine.
I have louvered doors throughout my home and they can be tricky to paint. They were
removed, sanded, sprayed to perfection. Highest standards observed and maintained
at all phases of project.
Joe is also a very good color consultant and gave me several pointers on color choices and provided me with brushout boards as enhanced color samples.

Probably would be five star had I had work done — just the estimate was a pleasure. Joe emailed almost right away, an appointment was made for the next day. He was on time and very knowledgeable about our home, when it was built etc. If we decide to do all that we want to do. I will definitely consider this company.

I got three quotes and J.P. Aspatore was not the lowest nor was it the highest, but the reviews in Unilocal for Aspatore convinced me to use them for painting the exterior of my house. Joe, the owner, is a perfectionist and see that his crew follows his philosophy for superior service. They did so much in prepping the house with covering the bushes and the ground, not stinting on the plastic masking or cutting corners. Joe also knows his material and paints. I have cedar shake at the front of the house which is as old as my house, about 40 years, he did a two-​coat treatment that made my shake looks new again … something that I didn’t think could be done.
Joe was late getting started on the job, because of of wet and cool weather which I appreciate because it wasn’t ideal temperature for the paint to cure properly. I rather that he delay to do a better paint job.
I can’t recommend Joe enough. I have the peace of mind of knowing the job was well done.

This is the second time I had Joe paint my home, it had been 20 years, I was glad that he was still in business, the quality of work remained the same, the prep work is the most important phase in painting and his crew did an out standing job, down to using wire hand brushes to scrap away old paint. He is not cheap but you get what you pay for.
if you are going to paint and sell your home use someone cheaper but if you want quality and protect you investment use Joe Aspatore.

I had called a few places rated high here on Unilocal to find someone who could remove the ceiling popcorn as well as paint the ceiling after re-​texturing. Very few places do both, I was leaning, and I was on a very tight time schedule, between my escrow close and move date. I had called for other bids and the prices seemed reasonable, but the timing would either take too long (7 days for removal, re-​texture and paint), or the other companies would not be able to fit me in until a month after I moved in.
So I called Joe and explained my dilemma and time-​line. After a few questions, he offered to look at the place using the realtor’s code from the lock box and check things out the next day, and would give me an estimate that night, which he did.
I accepted Joe’s bid, as it was on par with the other bids I had received. Being in a technology age, I gave Joe the standard 10% deposit via Paypal, despite not having met him yet. My gut instinct was that he was a straight shooter and honest businessman. My instincts were spot-​on. I visited the property the next night and was happy to see Joe hard at work and making significant progress. He took time out of his already-​long day to explain to me the entire popcorn removal process and the re-​texturing and ceiling of joints and painting to happen later. Suffice it to say I was amply impressed with his professional experience and customer repoire.
Joe and his team not only completed the job in 4 days (3 days faster than my other bids), but the job was done with rolling the paint — not just a spray job. On a whim, I asked if they could repaint the entire inside on the last day. They were just starting to clean-​up and lucky for me they had time! Joe’s additional bid for painting was more than fair. So in 5 days, I had the entire house repainted inside and popcorn removed.
To say I am impressed with J.P. Aspatore would be an understatement. He is the best I’ve run into and I would absolutely re-​hire him in an instant. He was completely professional and polite to the very end, and even did a few extra touch-​ups/​patching for me without charge.
You would be a fool to hire anyone else. Joe is the real deal.

Recently I’ve had a need to call Joe for some patchwork caused by external factors and his responsive was just as rapid and friendly as it was with my initial call. Joe is eager to please and was able to offer me a good analysis of my window caulking problem and a solid recommendation on how to fix it. Aside from some damage that another workman did to my paint job (which Joe is scheduled to fix) the house looks as good as it did when it was painted a year and a half ago.

J.P. Aspatore has painted the exterior of our house twice — 1995 and 2012. Joe also painted much of the interior of our house this year. Plus, he did dry rot repairs and replaced a defective exterior door. In every project, Joe and his team did meticulous work, were on time each day, cleaned up at the end of each day, and competed the project on schedule and on budget. Joe and his team are fantastic and I recommend them enthusiastically.

The exterior of my house was in need of a paint job and I went to Unilocal to discover the best contractor. You never know what you are going to get but Aspatore came up glowing in the reviews. I hired Joe and his team for the job. It entailed painting the exterior of a large house (shingles), the trim and power washing and staining 5 large decks.
If you have a painting job and hire someone other than Joe Aspatore, you are nuts. The amount of detail that he and his crew put into the prep work, power washing, scaping and ultimate painting was extrordinary. Joe is also a bit of a tech expert when it comes to painting. He explained in great detail the difference between paints and brands, We ended up choosing A Benjamin Moore Aura product that Joe has guaranteed for 5 years. He also recommended a deck stain that had been used for houses but that he has adapted to decks. My wife and I could not be more pleased wth the job he did, the look of the house and decks and the quality of the final product. If i have additional painting to be done, Aspatore will get the work.

Just had Joe & his crew back to paint my newly built photography studio and once again they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect! Reasonable pricing, super friendly employees, and excellent attention to detail make them a perfect fit for our family. I can’t paint but it doesn’t matter because I know I can always count on them to do a great job!

Joe and Crew did a great job painting the inside of my new home. The price was good and the work was great. I’ve got knock-​down texture on my walls and the lines between the dark paint and the light paint are TRUE! They also did a great job on the baseboards.
