My Husband and I are updating our bathrooms and were searching for the right tile for the flooring. We had looked at the big box stores, but did not find what we were looking for. We stopped by other tile stores in the area with a less than satisfying experience. Those stores were poorly lighted and we walked around for at least 10 minutes or longer and they never asked if we needed help. So we left and came upon Modello Tile in Pacheco. Even walking in the store was a much different experience, from the brightly lighted showroom to the helpful staff that greated us to say they were there to help.
Lilly walked over to ask what we were looking for and then showed us the area we would find tiles that met our needs. Then she let us look until we were ready to ask questions and talk about taking samples home. She was knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly.
One of the tiles she could not find a price and followed up with us by phone very quickly to share the pricing that was within our budget.
We ordered our tile, which was not a large order, but they treated the same as a person ordering tile for en entire house.
We highly encourage anyone looking for tile, stone, granite, etc. to stop by their store and see their selection as they were a pleasure to work with. Our bathrooms are the final project so this tile purchase is our last for our home, but if we had other needs we would go to Modello Tile.

When we had to pick new tile for our master bath, at first we went to our usual tile showrooms in Concord and Berkeley. However, we didn’t see many things that grabbed our attention.
Then I was told to go MODELLO TILE in Pacheco. How did I not know about this incredible showroom? (It was Amy at Jack London Bath in Walnut Creek who told me about Modello – thanks Amy!)
The large showroom has such an up to date and expansive selection of tiles, slabs, etc. all displayed in such a customer friendly way.
Best of all, I’ve received such wonderful design advice and customer service from both Lea and Frank. (Actually, everyone in the showroom is friendly and helpful.)
Lea spent serious time with me, really listening to my ideas and my concerns. Her experienced eye has really brought our ideas up several notches. I made several separate visits to select tiles for different parts of the bathroom. Each time I was advised to take the samples home in order to see how we liked them in our own light and space. I appreciate that we were given all the time we needed to feel comfortable with our selections before actually ordering them.
I can’t say enough good things about Modello Tile and their friendly, helpful and professional customer service! Thanks again Lea and Frank!

Extensive showroom displaying a huge variety of tile, granite and other flooring and counter materials. I was mesmerized by the displays of creative tile mixology. I took a ton of pictures, sat on the floor going through sample boards and was there for a very long time. I also went to 3 other well known tiles places (in Berkeley and Oakland) but was most impressed by the selection and service at Modello. I ended up buying tile for 2 rooms.

Lily Novoa is the absolute best she was very patient and helpful with me as I was making life altering decisions lol not really. That is what it feels like when making changes and choosing new tile, for counters and floors! I did not end up purchasing all my materials from Modello Tile and Stone but because of Lilly I will be back for other projects! She is Awesome the entire staff was Great!

I came in about 8 months ago because of the good Unilocal reviews. Good stores are hard to find! I was remodeling kitchen and bathroom. The store was busy and the owner stepped in and helped. I really like that because it shows the dedication and work ethic of the people who run it. The staff was awesome and very knowledgeable.
The showroom is beautiful and large (apx 10,000 SF). They carry a large variety of porcelain tile, marble, travertine, hardwood, and countertop slabs. You will find what you are looking for here. I promise.
Everything went well and all tiles were delivered on time with no issues or damages.
My remodeling turned out great and everyone is complimenting me on my kitchen and bathroom.
They are located right off the freeway so it’s very easy to find them.
They also provide complimentary design consultations and do in-​house design consultation appointments and in store as well. These help if you need advice on design and what will look good together.
I highly recommend them!

I found Modello Tile by looking at Unilocal and seeing so many positive reviews for Leah both here and at Coliseum Tile in San Ramon. When I visited Modello, looking for tile for four bathrooms, a laundry room and kitchen backsplash, she was hugely helpful. Everyone in the store has been gracious and helpful during my many visits.
The tile selection is great. They also have quartz countertops and engineered hardwood flooring. Leah was instrumental in helping me narrow down my choices so I didn’t spend hours and hours dithering. She has a great eye for color, pattern and texture, and she listened closely to what I wanted. With her help, I was able to coordinate these six areas so they all look like they belong in the same house, while still making each one special in some way – and all this without spending more than my budget could bear.
My bathrooms are being installed now, and so far, I’m very pleased with our selections. Leah made the whole process much easier than I expected it to be. It was actually fun! Frank was also helpful in sorting through grout colors, and really, all the employees have been warm and willing to step in, even if it was just to help haul samples back and forth from the car. These folks know tile, and they’re great to work with.
Don’t be shy about making appointments. You’ll get undivided attention with no waiting if you call ahead.

After going to 7 tile stores and only finding beige tiles I was introduced to Modello Tile by a client of mine. Their selection is nothing short of completely AMAZING!!! I found my charcoal grey tile here and actually had choices in this particular color. The only reason why they are not getting 5 stars is because of lack of communication. They told me my tile would arrive in a «couple business days» when it actually took almost 3 weeks. Then trying to find the time to pick up my tile was difficult because of their business hours. They only seem to be open Monday thru Friday until 4pm. On Unilocal it says they are open on Saturdays but they werent and I left a message but I never got a returned phone call. If you know this in advance you wont be disapponted because they have everything and more then you can imagine in tile and granite. Have Lily help you cause she is so sweet and helpful in finding the right choice.

I found Modello Tile and Stone when I went to a nearby tile store looking for materials quickly (I was coordinating updates for a house I was listing and we were trying to do everything as quickly as possible) and they didn’t have anything in stock. They recommended Modello and it was the best referral I could have received. I met Lea and was immediately impressed by her knowledge and recommendations. Not only that, she really listens, isn’t pushy, and helps you find what you’re looking for while working within your budget. She’s also just a delightful person in general. She helped me with all of the remaining tile and stone we needed for the kitchen and bathrooms. We ended up having an issue with one of the materials we ordered, and when I called Leah, she and Metin (the owner) rectified the situation with no questions asked. It was customer service at its finest. We are getting ready for a large remodel of our own home and I won’t go anywhere else for materials. I can’t recommend Modello Tile and Stone enough!

I came across Modello Tile and Stone by chance while driving by. When I entered the store, I was immediately impressed with the huge selection and modern tile options they had displayed.
Modello had products I had not seen anywhere else. Lea worked with me patiently in selecting a wonderful combination for my new bathroon. She has a great sense of style as well as color and design which were a huge help to me. She spent a great deal of time making sure my final choices were going to have the results I wanted. Lea’s recommendations and opinion were invaluable to me and I felt very fortunate to have such personalized help with my bathroom design from such a professional person. Lea treated my project as if it were her own.
I would highly recommend Modello Tile and Stone and especially recommend Lea for her design talents in ensuring your project will have magnificent results!

I went into Modello with my designers looking for granite slabs and tile for 2 fireplaces. Leah couldn’t have been more helpful… we sat and looked at a good number of choices… she was able to point us in the right direction and help us determine the quantity we would need. She was quite knowledgeable about the products and extremely pleasant to deal with. Each time I have returned to the store, she has remembered me by name and continues to provide us with good materials, great advice and excellent resources for fabrication and tile setting.

We purchased 3 slabs of quartz contertop material that we were told were imported from Turkey. We told the clerk that our job would not start for at least a month or two and we were told that this was no problem at all. In fact, Leah told us «we will hold it for you as long as you need.» When our contractor who has 20 years experience arrived to take possession of the material, he noticed some damage and more importantly, a lack of material markings which led him to believe the material was counterfeit. When pressed, an employee admitted the material is imported from China. Now, the owner refuses to process our refund for material we never took, until he can resell it. VERY bad business practices by misrepresenting the authenticity of their products and holding the customer liable for damaged and fake goods.

When my husband and I walked into Modello Tile store we were astonished by the huge selection they had on the showroom floor. Frank the manager himself was so helpful in our selection. It seems the medallions and tile we wanted need to be ordered and we were on a time schedule to get the tile into our home for the contractor to place the tile backsplash upon our wall to finish our kitchen remodel before the range was to be delivered and Frank came through with the order. It arrived in a timely manner and we are so pleased with the Frank-​his customer service with our needs to get it in– his over all professionalism and made us feel like we very important people which is unheard of in these days. We would recommend Modello Tile to anyone who has a home improvement project to do and you will be amazed at the selection to choose from in the store and the pleasure of meeting Frank! Well Done!

I walked into Modello Tile for the first time about a month ago or so. There was so much to choose from that I was a bit overwhelmed. I had no idea they had such a large selection.
Leah came to my rescue and worked with me on my bathroom remodel project. She has been very patient with me as I didn’t know exactly what I wanted. She allowed me to roam the store and come up with ideas and before I knew it, we were both on the same page. Leah is very knowledgeable of the products and a lot of fun to work with.
I highly recommend Modello Tile for your remodel projects. They have a large selection to choose from no matter if it’s one room or your entire home.

This is the best tile shop around! I have been remodeling my bathroom for the past few weeks and Leah has been nothing but helpful! I have had to order multiple times thanks to a Mis measure by my contractor… but Modello and their friendly staff has delivered every time. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. The showroom has so much tile to view and if you are unsure about what you want they will help you pick and take home samples. The best!

I went in looking for some very unique tiles for a bathroom project and found some many different product under one roof was shocking. I received some much help from a outstanding designer named Lea. We went to a lot of different stores in the area, but the main reason we close Modello was the service and Lea. Don’t get me wrong the prices were spot on with the other stores but, let’s face it pulling a great look together is an art form. Lea is an artist with impeccable taste and patients. My husband and I have similar taste but mine is more understated. When he would start to go in a different direction, Lea would pull us back to our middle. What an amazing talent. Love this store and I am bringing my mom in when she does her remodel.

Such a great service. Fast and efficient. Lea is so personable and friendly. She was very patient and informative while we took our time searching for many different tiles. She has good taste and gave us a lot of advice on decoration along with useful technical information about the styles and the make of the tiles. She was quick to give us the price estimate and the shipping cost. Everything arrived on time and our living room looks fantastic. We look forward to doing more business with them when more house updating projects come up. It was a fun experience. I highly recommend them.

I’m a first time home owner and I recently starting looking into upgrading my house. I’ve gone to a few tile stores in the past few weeks and this place by far has the best customer service. When I walked in I was greeted by one of their designers, Lea. She showed me allot of options and was very friendly and knowledgable. I will defiantly come back there to purchase the tiles for our first project which is our master bath.

This place is awesome. Tons of selection, great prices, and most of all D’Marie! We went in here looking for tile, and she was amazing. She basically designed our whole house– two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a fireplace. I told her an idea of what I was looking for and she honed in on it, and made it better. D’Marie has tons of design experience, and for those that «kinda» know what they want, she is perfect! Not pushy but informative and helpful. We’ve been to other tile stores, and this place is hands down the best!

I stumbled upon this gem after wasting my time in the store across the street. As soon as I walked in D’Marie welcomed me and offered assistance. I had no idea what I wanted but needed a backsplash to match a specific counter. She spent a lot of time pulling samples and offering ideas, all while making me feel welcome. She also always kept cost factors in mind as I had stated our budget was tight. To top it all off, we were able to take our top choices home for a day to see them in the space it would be used. When I say this place is a gem I truly mean it. If you can’t find what you need here it it may not exist!
