Our goal at JPPerformance is to to provide you with results you will be happy with.

With us you are not just another number. All of our programs are customized for each individual. Our youth training programs are designed to get the young athlete performing at a higher level and prepare them for the work they will endure upon entering college, while focusing on strengthening areas of their body which may be overlooked and underdeveloped in order to prevent injuries. A similar approach is taken with our personal training dependent on the individuals goal.

Health is not just determined by how much weight you can lift or how fast you can run though. Without an effective nutrition plan your true potential may never come to light. Malnutrition, overeating, or simply not realizing which foods are doing your body more harm than good can seriously hinder your progress which is why we work closely with a registered dietitian, Alix Landman, RD, MPH, CDE whom holds monthly seminars at our location in Plantation.

Stress, either physically or emotionally can also be detrimental to your health. This is where our massage techniques come in to play. Massage has been shown to be beneficial as not only a stress relief but also can aid with recovery and improve circulation and flexibility. With this trifecta we believe we form a well rounded group that can positively influence your lifestyle change and assist you with reaching your goals.

Meet the Business Owner

James A.

Business Owner

James began training himself when he was a teenager playing football. Since then he has grown to love all forms of exercise. He began his journey in the fitness industry by obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Exercise Science & Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University. Upon starting at FAU, James began volunteering under the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Nova Southeastern University, Steven Orris. Soon after his volunteership ended at NSU, he began his internship at Bommaritos Performance System where he got to live out his dream of working with the pros. It is from these two locations where he learned both how to manage a busy weight room, and how to periodize an effective strength program catering to the athletes sports.

While his background in sports is extensive, James has also worked with various other populations including cardiac rehab patients, youth, and those just looking to embark on a lifestyle change.
