Communication was excellent, crews were on time and a pleasure to work with. We were moving two houses into one new home so coordination was critical and Angela took care of it. We had a truck and two guys at each house at the same time and they finished together at the new home.
Price ended up running a little higher than estimated but we still feel it was a good value. Only one piece of furniture was damaged, not bad based on our previous move experiences. We Muv U took the piece, had their guy repair it, and brought it back about a week later looking great!
Also, not sure why some idiots would post negative reviews for a service they never used but please take that into account when reading these.

We had to move fast, with lots of stuff, in a short amount of time. Our realtor’s concierge gave us three possible companies to choose from. I interviewed 4 before we met the Olivers. They actually listened to what we needed, and gave us suggestions on what would be more effective ways of doing things. Of course, we didn’t take all their advise, until we figured they had experience. The team picked up where we left off. We purchased their boxes. They packed us, loaded and unloaded us, and delivered so effectively. The guys worked fast. They we respectful and patient. Angela and zjohn were available for us and provided extra services we didn’t plan for. I would recommend this company for anyone who has huge needs and can pay someone professional what all MOVING entails. They aleviated our stress and introduced us to our new home.

We were directed to We Muv U by Zippy shell our POD storage company and the movers who arrived were extremely professional and did an amazing job. They worked harder than I have ever seen other movers work and even moved some of the items multiple times to where we wanted it. They were polite, responsive and I would highly recommend these gentlemen to anyone.
However as a company I would have to advise caution because there is a great deal of miscommunication that comes from the front office. When we initially set up this move we requested three movers because it was such a large task. When they arrived there were only two and I was told that the price had been adjusted down to two movers because the third mover was on another job. Our move took a total of 6 hours and I speculate and it could have been quicker if we would have had the 3^rd man like we requested (speculation only). Secondly there were charges we werent made aware of on the invioce when they arrived. The first was a $ 75 stair charge because the movers had to travel up 3 flights of stairs to our apartment. As I mentioned earlier these guys worked very hard so I had no problem paying that but it was never mentioned during booking. The second was a $ 150 in drop off fees for the PODS loaded with our belongings that they picked up from Zippy Shell and brought to us. Again there was never any mention of this charge during booking. I signed the invoices so that the movers could begin but later called Angela in the front office to question why these charges had never been mentioned. The conversation did not go well and Angela stated that Zippy Shell (the owners of the PODS) should have already told us all of this. It was at this point Angela stated that if we didnt like these extra charges that maybe the movers should stop loading and bring the PODS back to the warehouse to sort everything out. At this point we had been sleeping on the floor for 3 days and the threat of them taking all of our belongings back to a warehouse was of course unimagineable. When we hung up the phone we walked around the POD and the movers were resting on the truck. I figured they were tired from the heat but when asked they said they had been given an order from the Foreman to stop loading until further notice. Realizing that this was a clear threat from the front office I called back and told them that we werent happy with the extra charges but to please not stop offloading. I apologized multiple times and after about 15 minutes Angela allowed the movers to continue. We were told we would be reimbursed for the time stoppage however we were not. Later we did receive a call from Angela and she apologized for the confusion and reimbursed us the $ 150 drop off fee
All in all the movers themselves were great guys and extremely hard working but I would recommend to others to get everything in writing when setting up an appt with We Muv U so there be as little confusion as possible on moving day.

Angela, the agent who responded to my move inquiry, was very helpful and responsive to my questions, and had everything set correctly for my move. She was very flexible regarding updates and modifications (i.e. adding an extra mover the day before my move) and was helpful with follow-​up after my move. On move day, the team leader called me 30 minutes prior to let me know their ETA. Upon arrival, the movers all introduced themselves and went over their documentation regarding my move. I walked them through my home to explain the items to be moved, and they got to work! They worked efficiently and carefully, and had everything moved out in a short amount of time. Once we arrived at my new residence, they got right to work unloading everything. They took great care with moving the items in and were quick to ask me the precise location I wanted items to be placed. They were more than willing to help me get the big items set. They were friendly and professional throughout. It was a great overall experience, and I will certainly recommend them to friends/​neighbors who need help with a move!

The two young men who moved our stuff were nice enough, but they texted on their phones too much. They were so slow, that what should have taken three hours, took five. They also had no idea what they were doing. They didn’t even use a furniture dolly with a strap. Both our refrigerator and freezer fell into the wall as they were moving them. The refrigerator has a large scratch on the front. The freezer handle is broken and scratch with the freezer door having a dent in the front. They scratched a few of the wooden pieces of furniture. They tore the backing on the recliner and pulled out the upholstery nails. They did something to the water line when they disconnected the washing machine. Water began to pour everywhere. When I complained to the company, I was told that their «engineer» said he couldn’t see anything wrong from the picture the mover sent. Duh! The water was shut off by then, so all you could see was wet floor. Besides, do they really think I believe they have a construction engineer sitting in their office to look at pictures on the spot? The movers were messy and didn’t clean up after themselves. They left their roll of shrink wrap, two rolls of tape, and their clipboard at our house. They also left water bottles sitting in our driveway. After all of this, when I went to pay, the bill was $ 50 higher than quoted. Angela told me that there was a few for using a credit card. I was not told this upfront. I was offered no credit for the damages they did even though I had to call a plumber and pay $ 167 to get the water supply line repaired. He said they twisted the pipe when they undid the washing machine supply line. I would never use these people to move my stuff. You’ve been warned!

This is an extremely unprofessional email I received after choosing another company. I got 5 quotes total and had to choose one. I am so very glad I did not choose We Muv U.

Thank you for your response. Good luck with your move — you will definitely need luck and a good lawyer after your move with all the scams going on on Thumbtack. Paying less always equals trouble in the end.
