These gentlemen have been the most professional and amazing men to work with. They were early to show and incredibly fast.
When I said incredibly fast, I blinked and half of my house was moved!!!
Set everything up and made sure we were satisfied with everything.
They are worth every penny and then some!

Black Tie Moving is by far THE best moving service I have ever used! Their employees are always very courteous and kind. They treat my things as if they belonged to them. They go out of their way to make sure all your moving needs are met. I love the fact that they are heavily involved in the community! This was my second time to use Black Tie Moving, and I am always impressed by how nice and cooperative their staff is. Jeff and Jose S. were great! It is a wonderful feeling knowing that your belongings are in good care with these men. In the past using different moving services, my furniture appeared in the new place with new scratches, dents and dings. I can honestly say that with using Black Tie Moving, my furniture is in the same condition as it was before I moved it! Highly recommend!

Used a 2 man crew for a quick move in uptown from 2 bedroom apartment to 2 bedroom townhouse. The crew was efficient and mindful of my time and their schedule. I helped them out by having everything pre-​boxed and in the open living room space for ease of moving. They did all the lifting and stair work with great pace. A couple items broke as expected with any move and they honored their basic coverage. Be sure to read what they cover as with any moving company as it is not as much as you would think and is based of items’ weight. Otherwise, liked them and would say you should hire them.

Black Tie Moving was prompt and packed most of our belongings well. They were flexible enough to move things to two separate locations, and we liked their pricing model. However, they completely missed one kitchen cabinet. I was lucky to catch that on my final walk through and packed it myself. They also put two serious scratches in the hardwoods, which I tried to cover with a furniture color stick for the new owners of the home. When I sent the lead an email with pictures of the scratches and the cabinet that was not packed as requested for «any issues» at the end of the move, I never heard from them again.

My move experience with Black Tie Moving was superb! I had the two-​man crew (Nick and Braylon) and they did a great job. They were on-​time, friendly, professional and did a super good job with my move. They wrapped every item and handled all my furniture and boxes with care… all while in the rain.
My movers were professional and showed up in a t-​shirt with a tuxedo printed on it. How cool is that? These guys were passionate about doing a great job which assured me that I picked the right movers.
I needed a quick move and they got it done! Not only did they move my stuff, Black Tie gave me peace of mind. My move was stress free and I greatly appreciate it. They carefully placed all the items in my home and even made sure they wrapped furniture I didn’t need right away. Did I mention that they rolled out the red carpet? Yes, an actual red carpet. These guys made an unpleasant experience (moving is stressful) fun and seamless.
Overall they were great. I would highly recommend Black Tie Moving. I would use them in the future and shout out from my rooftop that they are the best. Out of 10, I give them an 11! No need to keep reading the reviews because they will all say the same thing… Black Tie Moving is the best and you should hire them today! Thanks guys! See you for my next move!

These guys were prompt, courteous, careful with our stuff, and friendly! I have family moving here and I will highly recommend they use Black Tie Moving, as well as others. I heard multiple horror stories about other moving companies that lost, damaged, and in some cases stole people’s stuff, so I was leery about hiring anyone! However, my husband and I needed someone to lift and move the heavy stuff, like appliances and furniture, down a second story apartment complex. I called several companies and got quotes but what sold me, ultimately, was the stellar ratings these folks got here on Unilocal by so many people! I was right to trust the rest of the Unilocal community, because if I ever need to move again I have found my moving company. People I can trust to get the job done quickly, professionally, carefully, and courteously. Another gold star, in my book, is their work attire: a t-​shirt with a tuxedo printed on it. A uniform work attire tells me that image and appearances matter to this company, and when employees are on board with uniforms, I know the company is great.
I paid for a moving company, but they didn’t just move my stuff, Black Tie gave me peace of mind. By doing this it made moving less stressful than I originally thought it was going to be. Way to go Black Tie Moving! You restored my faith in moving companies.

I moved from downtown Dallas to a ranch an hour and 30 mins away. I really shopped around, they were a little more than I wanted to spend, but a friend told me they were so worth it. I just had bought a very special headboard I was worried about it. So, I decided it was worth it. Nick & Homer did an amazing job protecting my furniture, not one ding. They were fast and efficient, while still being polite and fun. I still have one more house to move and I will be using them again!

Our original movers never showed up on moving day (another company). So we were stranded and called Black Tie. They got us scheduled the very next morning. The guys they sent were smart, organized, super polite and we even had a few good laughs. It had just rained very hard and everything was so muddy and messy. But they came up with great ideas to avoid the mud and were super clean and careful. As mad as I was about the other company stiffing us, we really made out so much better with Black Tie! These Guys not only saved our move and our entire weekend, they gave us superior service. I would recommend them to anyone. It took a little longer than I hoped but they were so thorough and careful and it’s worth the extra time. Thanks for saving our move!

Had an amazing experience with these wonderful guys – Andrew, Tyree and Dennis! They showed up on time and were very polite. Not a single thing was scuffed or broken. Very efficient! All of our labeled boxes ended up in the right rooms in the new house and they asked us where we wanted all of our items placed. They were very thorough, took great care of our stuff and took the time to walk us through the process.
I could not have asked for a better crew to take care of us and make this such an easy transition into a new home! I definitely recommend them, don’t look any further!

I booked with a phone call to Riley and received a call mid-​week from Brett before the move to confirm the time and go over details. Diligent and very well organized on the administrative side. I felt very good about the decision to use Black Tie Moving at that point.
The day of our move the crew (Andrew, Tyree, and Dennis) showed up early, were ready to work and in good spirits — even with intermittent rain all day. Excellent care was taken with all of our items and there was ZERO breakage, not even scuffed walls. Every item was wrapped and protected.
Black Tie Moving was everything I could have asked for and more. Super professional and polite on all sides. Definitely top rate service and I highly recommend.

I had the BEST experience with my crew (Raul, Sam, and Able) at Black Tie! They were so friendly and very careful with all of my items. I was amazed by how fast they worked! They went above and beyond.
I have moved several times (all over DFW) and have used a variety of moving services. Black Tie has been my most positive experience, hands down!
