The Tan Bar has been in business in Dallas for over 5 years, and now we have expanded to a satellite location in Plano. The Tan Bar Plano offers customized airbrush spray tanning applied by professional and experienced technicians. We use natural and organic tanning formulas with state-​of-​the-​art equipment to accentuate your skin with the golden brown tan that you want. The Tan Bar will evaluate your skin, and personalize a sunless, fine-​mist application that meets the needs of your individual skin type.

Our goal is to help our clients get a natural look, with or without tan lines. We understand every session is YOUR tanning experience and that you want to be comfortable. Therefore, you can expect to be treated with respect and professionalism at The Tan Bar.

We offer many different options for spray tanning and take into consideration your features, what you are tanning for and lastly your convenience. We want our clients to embrace this healthier option and care for their skin.

History

Established in 2016.

the Tan Bar Corporation was established in 2010. We have been in business at our Dallas location for over 5 years. We have consistently grown our business, as well as won several «Best of Dallas» awards from the Dallas Voice, D Magazine and Modern Luxury. Now, we have now opened our New Plano location.

We began our business on the side while continuing our corporate jobs, In 2011, we left our jobs to open our full service tanning studio on Cedar Springs in Dallas, as we believe so much in what we do.

We only offer custom airbrush spray tanning, as we are highly against the use of tanning beds and harmful UV rays. We wanted to bring the option of spray tanning to our clients, in order to educate people on a better and safer way to tan. We carry only natural and organic solutions. We offer spray tanning with or without bronzers, 8 hour development as well as Rapid tanning solutions (same excellent results, but you only have to wear the solution for a few hours).

Business Owner

Leslie and Terry have been spray tanning for over 7 years. Leslie has a background in management and finance while Terry has worked in Property Management and Human Resources. Leslie has also worked in the skin rejuvenation business where she brought air brush spray tanning into the fold. Terry, after years of putting his skin at risk, decided to try spray tanning. He liked the opportunity to get a tan without putting his skin at risk. One day Leslie and Terry began discussing their interest in spray tanning — they decided to leave their jobs and go all in… by opening their own spray tan studio, called the Tan Bar. After 5 years of success in Dallas, we are opening our newest location in Plano.
