To preface this, I ordered to take out, so I knew I wasn’t going to get hot off the grill. So when I opened my sandwich, it didn’t look as appealing as if I were to eat at the restaurant. However, the sandwich was billions of times better tasting than it looked. The mixture of roasted artichokes and mushrooms — bon appetit! My only complaint was that there was more cheese on it than artichoke. Other than that, this sandwich will be a major key to why I come back!

Good eats, reasonable service. Got lucky and got there before the lunch hour, they definitely run some bodies thru their doors. I would not call it authentic east coast subs/hoagies but none the less it was good.

Nice sandwiches and fries. I loved the artichoke one. The food was delivered hot and fresh. Courteous service as well.

Dank ass sandwiches made by some very good looking employees. I would recommend the chicken parm. It’s a shame this place is so hidden, because it’ll knock anyone’s socks off! Also the bread is the best

Very good sandwiches. Piping hot food and delicious fries. The Philly & Chicken Parmesan are my favorite. The pizza sauce is addictive. Service is quick and the Dining room is always clean. My only issue is… the hours posted shows open until 9:30 or 10 on most sites. But I’ve gone at 9pm and they are closed. Open sign turned off, no visible staff. Disappointed and realizing maybe it’s just a ‘go to lunch spot.’ Nonetheless… Will be back.

Probably the best philly I’ve found in the Dallas area, I like mine a certain way with lettuce and mayo with cheese and meat. I love that they have shredded lettuce and fresh cut potatoes for fries. I want this really bad right now lol

We always see this spot when we go to Mod Market, and today decided to check it out! It was delicious and decently priced. There’s 3 or 4 different sizes of sandwiches and the option to make it a wrap! We were thoroughly impressed and will be back! My boyfriend got the chicken teriyaki 6inch and it came with sautéed fresh mushrooms and onions! I got a chicken salad wrap and it was full of flavor! Spent 15 $ on 2 bags of chips & two sandwiches!!!

I had a great experience here! Got the classic cheesesteak with the addition of onions, mushrooms, and green peppers. Also got an order of fries. Everything came out hot and super fresh. The fries and sandwich were amazing. Definitely coming back here!

I have been to this sandwich shop a couple times now and the cheesesteak is by far the best thing to order! Although it does take a while to get your food, it is worth it! Try it out sometime!

I give this place about 3 stars. Went relatively late one day, about 7:45, no people there except my husband and I. The guy working the cashier was frowning the whole time and seemed kind of annoyed that we showed up. We ended up waiting over 20 minutes for our food(which was 26-inch sandwiches and 1 small fry) and didn’t get any updates about why it was taking so long. The food itself is pretty good. I like the fresh fries, the bread was nice and not too crunchy, they have a pretty good selection on the menu. I just didn’t particularly enjoy the eating in and long wait time. The second time I went I opted to call about 15 min before I would arrive and have them have my order ready. My sandwich was ready but they said they cannot make fries until the person actually gets there — so they would be fresh. I don’t like soggy fries so I am fine with that, I just figured I’d include it in the review. Overall the food is quite good and I will eat there again, but I only advise going if you definitely are not in a rush.

Went here for dinner around 7 p.m. My wife and I were the only folks in the sub shop; however, the man taking our order acted like there was a line out the door. My wife had to tell him, «This is our first time here,» so he’d ease up. But he continued to rush us. Anyway, we ordered four Philly Cheese Steaks and three fries, which ended up setting us back $ 50. Ouch! The worst part about the experience was the actual food. Unfortunately, we ordered take out, so didn’t find out until we got home that the chessesteaks were drowning in marinara sauce. With a store name including«Penn Station» and«East Coast,» you’d think they’d know how a proper Philly Cheese Steak is made — onions and Cheez Whiz. You won’t find marinara saunce on cheesesteak from Pat’s or Geno’s. In the end, my wife and two boys couldn’t even finish a quarter of their cheesesteaks. They were inedible. I ate mine because I suggested the joint, and paid the check. I won’t be going back.

I used to eat at Penn Station in the mid-west when I lived there over 10 years ago. I didn’t think I’d see one here, but low and behold, Frisco and Plano seem to have everything. Getting a custom sandwich with a pizza sauce option, and fries made fresh in front of you is only like one of the best things ever. Or is that two of the best things ever?

UPDATE: They know offer«wraps» of your fav. sandwiches. — — — — — — They offer grilled or cold 6″, 8″, 10″ or 12″ subs and 3 sizes(cups) for their fresh cut fries(cooked w/peanut oil). Oh, you can also get chips. Been here twice already in the last month. My fav: the Classic Italian. My fiancé got the Philly Cheesteak minus the mayo, but he wished he took the spicy mustard out too because it was a bit much. They also slap on «pizza sauce», sauteed onions, mushrooms and banana peppers on their cheesteak sandwich. My 6″ Classic Italian sandwich + small cup of fresh cut fries, and a drink was under $ 10. One of these days I’ll venture out and try the other ones, but for now, I am happy with the Classic Italian sandwich(much better than Quiznos or Subway’s Classic Italian). And their grilled version is much better(crispier) than the«toasted» subs at the other sandwich shops.

Ok, I had high hopes for this place. «East Coast Subs». Being from Boston… I figured I’d give em a shot. Had the 10 in tuna sub. Asked for«just provolone» on it, which they did. Problem is, the tuna salad literally was loaded with all these other things I’d never seen in tuna salad, AND the mayo based sauce it was in? swimmingly? Service was ok. Wasn’t busy when I stopped by on a Saturday night @ 7 pm. Maybe I’ll try another sub so they can have at least 2 shots? Parking can get tight if the area is busy. Gotta ask, «Think the owner/employees even know where Penn Station is?»

Hands down THE best sub sandwich joint in the metroplex. I hadn’t had a Penn Station sub since college 7 years ago. I was headed to a different place to eat over in the Frisco/Plano area when I drove by and immediately made a u-turn to head to this place. The bread. It’s the bread that makes these things so magical. It’s an amazingly soft HOT italian roll with crispy toasted edges. No other place comes close to the taste of their warm italian rolls. This is a carb lovers nightmare… there’s no way you could give up carbs after eating one of these. Get your sub toasted, if that’s an option. On the italian sub, it is. All the ingredients come out nice and warm with crispy little edges. It’s just divine. While the italian was always my favorite sub, the cheesesteak is also wonderful as are the other flavors. I love me some banana peppers and italian meats so it’s hard for me to deviate from my order. Fries are similar to five guys fries. Skin on and cooked in peanut oil. They offer malt vinegar for the fries which I believe is an east coast thing but it’s wonderful. Give it a try! If you like salt & vinegar potato chips… you’ll love malt vinegar on your fries. Everything at Penn Station has multiple sizes! No longer must you choose between just 6 inches or a footlong. You’ve got 4 sizes to choose from! No longer must you order a giant cupful of fries… there are three sizes! This makes it perfect to adjust your meal to your hunger level. This location is very clean since it is brand new. Bathrooms are sparkling clean, there are plenty of seating options all maintained nicely. There are some big screen TVs and they’ll change the channel for you on request so you can hang out and watch whatever game it is you like. This place singlehandedly is responsible for my freshman 15 so many years ago… there’s no chance I’ll ever eat another Pot Belly, Firehouse, or Which wich again.

Right when you walk in you’re treated like a guest, it’s different than other sandwich places, I think they actually care that you have come into Penn Station. The staff is great and friendly, they have regulars that they crack jokes with. The food is outstanding!!! I will definitely be back at Penn Station in the not too distant future.

When I heard there was a Penn Station here, I had to go immediately! I loved Penn Station in college and I haven’t had it in years. Penn Station has grilled and cold subs and delicious fresh cut french fries. I ordered the club and it was just like I remembered. The honey mustard really makes the club stand out. You know it’s a good sandwich when I’ll eat ham… which I don’t really eat. The french fries were fresh and tasty and you can see the potatoes they use behind the counter. The location was clean and everyone was friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was the«sweet» tea. As a former Southerner, I’d say this tea wasn’t even close to sweet, but last time I checked sweet tea wasn’t an East Coast thing or a Texas thing… so maybe they could leave that off the drink menu since it was pretty awful. I’ll go back when I’m in the neighborhood. I hope they open more in the city!

Great experience. Mouth watering sandwiches! I love that they hand cut their fries. They don’t have jalapeños though. Great tasting lemonade! Parking is a little cumbersome. Staff was polite.

Freshly discovered little sub shop in corner of one of frisco’s many shopping centers. Their monthly special is their Philly cheesesteak with hand cut fries. Sold! And it was delicious! Melted cheese, fresh off the grill. Almost too hot to handle! Fresh fries. Fresh homemade lemonade. A great place to grab a bite during your work week!
