Fast Indian. Didn’t wow me, but the sauces were pretty good and the location makes for a good qwerty quick Indian lunch. Garlic nan was ok but not amazing.

Please do not go here if you want to try«indian» food for the first time or are unfamiliar with indian food in general. Went 2 days ago and ordered biryani, chicken saag masala, paneer tikka and a samosa. They don’t even offer naan with the dishes anymore– just rice, you have to buy naan separately or they charge you $ 1.50 to substitute. We didn’t enjoy ANY of the dishes that came to our table. The chicken was undercooked in the saag and the biryani was BLAND. The paneer dish was SWEET for some reason? and the samosa was not flavorful or prepared well. Its safe to say we won’t be back as it was a waste of money. We threw the leftovers(and there was a lot) away as we didn’t even want to attempt eating it again. Best to go to an ACTUAL indian restaurant.

The place is a hit and miss. They are good sometimes but today there paneer tikka masala was not good. Tasted like gravy made from heat and eat pack. Their samosa is one of the most horrible samosa available in Dallas. Stay away from it. I have tried their vegetarian Manchurian before. It is definitely decent.

This place does NOT serve Indian food. Its Indian fusion. Kinda like texmex. Its either Tex or mex. This is a bad bad rendition of Indian fusion. The South Indians that run this place ought to take a crash course on how to treat customers. They send out coupons and then do not accept it.

I haven’t gotten my food yet, so this is just an assessment of the staff. I have been coming to Masala Wok pretty consistently over the years and I order the same thing: Malai Kofta dumplings in the Tikka Masala sauce. Today was my first day at this particular franchise, so I was expecting some hesitation. I’m used to having the cashier call back to the chef and ask if it’s ok, then having the chef tell the cashier yes without even thinking. Instead of the cashier asking the chef, instead he asks the manager. The manager tells me they have gotten instructions from«corporate» that they aren’t allowed to mix dishes. O. o Umm, what? When I asked for further clarification, she said it was to ensure the maximum level of quality. She didn’t give any suggestions or other solutions. I know this is just food, but I take my food seriously. If I like it and am willing to pay, what’s the issue? Update: Just tasted my food and it’s only a little better than bland. There is color, without taste. I feel like I’ve been robbed. Eat some place else.

Food does not taste good. Do not get fooled by the green curry. If you are looking to experience a Indian version of the Thai green curry forget it. It’s bland. Tastes like corn soup with a little pepper. The restroom was horrible and dirty with stains and dirty towels all over. I would never come back nor would I let anyone I know come here.

We used to eat here fairly frequently but over time the place seemed to become dirtier and dirtier until we just can’t eat there anymore. It’s a shame since we liked the food, but there is no telling what else you’re eating there now.

Good Indian Food. Dining area is a good size and they have free wifi. We come here about one a month and have always enjoyed the experience.

Pretty good for fast food Indian food. It was definitely Americanized. It was a lot of food though. I got the butter chicken masala and I’ll definitely get 2 big meals out of it. You could easily make it 3. Basically this place is an Indian version of Pei Wei. It’s exactly the same thing. It even looks exactly the same inside. But with indian food instead. They have some Asian options too.

I have been here a few times since moving to Dallas, TX. Our favs are chicken hakka noodles and chicken lollipop. The last few times we noticed that the chicken hakka noodles was loosing its spice. Overall a good place.

Lack of professionalism They delivered our kids order to somebody else. The waitress said she made a mistake, and said our order would come soon(later we realized that wasn’t true) and ran away. The guy at the front desk came and said they messed up the order and said it wOuld take lot of time to make our order again. When I asked him to give Nan to keep kids from being hungry he didn’t do that. He gave order made for somebody else that was close to our order but not the same. Nothing was offered to fix the mistake. It appeared that they don’t care and rather want to go home(there were at least 4 – 5 families there). Manager wasn’t present. I have been a regular to this restaurant and use their mobile coupons once in a while. If they keep employing such staff, I’vev lot of other options in that area for dining.

Chicken Tika Masala is probably one of the most basic dishes… theirs was the absolute worst I’ve EVER eaten. Even their Nan tasted as I’d it was frozen or pre made and shipped in, how does that happen? There’s like three ingredients in Nan for heavens sakes! The only reason they obtained a one star rating from me was because the temperature of the food was adequate. NEVERAGAIN will I eat at a Masala Wok! EVER!

OK, salty food. Terrible service. Waited 45 mins for a pickup order when told it would be ready in 15. Didn’t even say sorry when giving me the order. Just looked at me. They hire some pretty classless staff and when interacting with the Indian manager(franchisee?), he was simply rude, and just doesn’t know how to talk civilly. Last time I was here they served me chicken instead of paneer(offensive) Lost my business, and everyone else’s if I can help it. Go to Pei Wei or Inchin’s bamboo garden instead. Don’t patronize this overpriced, rude, careless excuse of indo Chinese.

Very bad service and the food quality has gone down hill. Even after reporting that the food doesn’t taste right the waiter stated that oh well this is how it’s cooked. Very disappointed from the bad experience! Be careful the place smells bad too!

Gotta say the Peach Lassi is my new addiction. Overall, this place is ok. It’s fast-casual, take-out Indian. Note that it’s not super fast, but if you have a craving for something it works. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and veggies. The chicken tikka masala was ok — not super spicy. I wish it had a little more heat. The naan is ok — a little bland for a ‘garlic’ naan. The veggies were dripping in oil — not my fav. Good, quick for in a pinch, but not necessarily the best or most authentic Indian in the Stonebriar area.
