Stopped in to the newly opened store in Fair Oaks Village — fun! Very tasty homemade fudge, and lots of unique old time candies, as well as a wide assortment of taffy and jelly bellies. Friendly proprietors, well worth a visit.

Nearly open for a year now, the catchy displays and signage out front drew me in. Oh, and the fact that they have candy. I want CANDY!
All the bulk candies are $ 9.95 a pound, which adds up pretty quickly. They have your barrels of salt water taffy which come in more flavors than I remember when I was a kid. Also your gummy this and gummy that. Even gummy octopi!
There is a cooler with old style sodas in glass bottles and homemade fudge. Not much in the way of foreign candies, so no Violet Crumble or dusted jelly babies (my personal fave).
If you need a sugar fix on your way back from Tahoe for the rest of the drive home, fill ‘er up at this place.
