In searching for quality pet care, Beth (owner of Fetch Pet Care) became frustrated that were no good options in the area other than over-​crowded, noisy kennels. And then what about the cats? With a menagerie of animals, the options were limited. So, she began her search and came across the ideal solution for pet owners – Fetch Pet Care– where there are plenty of options to choose from. Your pets can stay in their own home or in one of our sitters homes. For those working long hours, we offer our daily dog walking services at any time of the day.

Business Owner

Beth is a mother of 3 children and 8 wonderful furry children. She worked as a registered pediatric nurse prior to starting the pet sitting business. Taking care of kids and animals has always been her passion.

She lives in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh on 4 acres of land where her doggie house guests are free to run around the fenced in yard and lounge on the couch. She has 4 dogs of her own that are all litter mates and adorable! She also has 4 cats who have their own «apartment» and are cared for mostly by her daughter, Sydney. She is also currently fostering a 3 legged dog for an owner who cannot care for her right now.

She has always loved animals and feels that it is an amazing time in her life now when she can work while doing something she loves!

Incredibly easy to book and use. Our cat sitter, Becky, has been reliable and friendly. She sends updates (including pictures) on the cats and makes sure they are fed and boxes cleaned while we are away.

Had a very unfortunate experience that resulted in my dog being put down hours after arriving home from vacation. Had paid for a Fetch sitter to stay with my dog. The sitter was not knowledgable about signs and symptoms of distress and my dog had started to bloat.
This did happen years ago, June 2010. My dog was 9, not 14. My dog was not excited to see me when I got home, she could barely get up… Which is why I knew something was wrong.
We did not call the owner of Fetch immediately as we were more concerned about the care of the dog. After putting the dog down in the middle of the night we called the following morning to tell her.
The sitting service charge was waived. The vet expenses (nearly $ 2,000) were not reimbursed in full, however a small amount ($ 200 was sent). I spoke to the sitter just two hours prior to returning home and she said all was well. The vet believed the stage of bloat she was experiencing was significantly longer than 2 hours. I had the option to pursue a surgery or euthanasia. I’m sure this is not a normal experience but this was my experience.

Fetch is amazing. Our golden retriever thinks Kim is part of the family. He gets excited every time we start to pack our suitcases. She welcomes him into her house, spoils him and sends us picture updates daily
Our cat loves having someone come to the house and sit with him. we get daily notes on how he his doing and never worry about either pet

Fetch has been a great experience for me. I love knowing that Colleen is stopping by each day when I’m away to feed my kitties and give them some love. I like getting the text and notes to let me know how they are doing. It’s great peace of mind and worth it. Everything is professionally done and the prices are reasonable.

I hired Fetch to care for my two cats over the Christmas holidays and could not have had a better experience. The pet care specialist was professional and flexible with our requests and as an added bonus, she even spent time playing with and petting the kitties while we were gone. Also, the cat litter was cleaned regularly, so I didn’t have to come home to that stink. I will most definitely use this service again in the future because of the care they provided and their affordable pricing.

My family recently went on an extended vacation and contacted Fetch! for a cat sitter. They referred us to Lenore and Paul who live in our neighborhood. Lenore and Paul came over to our house before we left and familiarized themselves with our cats. They truly went above and beyond the call of duty by cleaning our basement litter boxes for us while we were away because we had forgotten to take care of it before we left. Lenore and Paul also updated us via text message every day to let us know that everyone was doing fine. I can’t tell you how glad I am that we called Fetch! I highly recommend them.

Very easy & reliable. Our sitter does more than care for our pets (3 cats & a GSD), she makes them not miss us at all!!! We could not be more pleased with this service. We’ve done three multi-​day trips and had overnight service which has all gone flawlessly. Highly recommend.

Tara has walked our puppy Gus for several months now and she is incredibly professional, accommodating and great at communication. Even on short notice, she makes herself available. She always writes us updates on how her time went with Gus, even if she’s only there for 30 minutes. We never have to worry about Gus because we know Tara will take good care of him! Definitely give Fetch a try and if you live in the East End, ask for Tara!

Fetch has definitely been a saving grace with helping me take care of my pets while I’m at work or away. They go above and beyond to make sure my pets are well taken care of and give personal touches by leaving notes daily to let me know how things went. They are very reliable and are sure to get a replacement sitter right away if my primary sitter is not available. I would recommend them to anyone.

This branch of Fetch Pet Care is likely to exceed your expectations in every way as it did for me. The operators of the franchise, Beth and Trevor, are delightful, gracious people. They love dogs and know a great deal about them. They have provided peace of mind for me and they can for anyone that utilizes their services. I chose to have my dogs cared for in the home of the franchise owners during a recent trip out of the area, and it could not have gone any better than it did. They will be in contact with you during your time away to the extent you wish and can assure you that your pet (s) is (are) fine and being well taken care of. The fees are reasonable for the quality of the service provided. This is a five-​star provider in every respect! You will use the service again as I plan to!
