I really don’t know where to start on this one. moving is very stressful so I Hired them to clean a 4BR 2 bath 2 story and it was a nightmare. The first time the cleaners where out it was as if they stood in the door and looked and cleaned what was in sight not the attention to detail needed for a military housing inspection which btw they had the list with them for the exactly what needed to be done. Kitchen exhaust fan was only done on the outside and parts of the stove where not touched. Baseboards was left a mess and again was all visual what is seen was cleaned but not the whole thing. Walls where «spot cleaned «so looking at them you see exactly where they cleaned or not. The oven rack was placed on the back siding and sprayed with ez-​off which in return dis colored the siding however it was semi fixed with spray paint a few shades off from the original. Overall my experiences with this company was BLAGH at best. In hind sight would have used the money spent on them to clean the place ourselves. After they left the house and we where walking through was when we found the ATD wasn’t what we expected management sent them back out but by then we where so close to our inspection we cleaned most of the discrepancies ourselves and only had a few things for them to correct. And our inspection wasn’t bad just a lot of headache that wasn’t needed at all

All in all we were very pleased with the performance of Sears Maid Services. The price was excellent, the cleaning was spotless in almost all places and the cleaning technicians were friendly, professional, prompt and worked hard the whole time they were there, which was almost four hours.
The only reasons why I briefly considered not give a perfect 5-​star rating to the service were that there were some scheduling issues and miscommunications which put the cleaning off for a week, and that when the cleaners were here they must have been rushed at the end as they left a small area under a window un-​mopped that had some dried up kids paint that I had to wipe up later that day. I think that they were in a hurry to get to their next appointment, though, and upon further reflection these sort of scheduling difficulties of having to rush to finish a job at the end of the day are natural in this sort of business when you’ve never seen the site you are booked to clean.
All in all, my family and I were extremely pleased with how our house looked. My wife said it hadn’t been this cleaned since we first moved in!

We were promised a thorough cleaning of our house and the manager Raj only sent 2 cleaners for the entire house. And between the 2 cleaners, only one of them was clearly able to do the cleaning. The other one was only helping her. Raj never reduced the price and even made us run around to pay him through a check by stating the excuse that he had issues with his credit card machine just so he could make some extra money. Even after stating our displeasure with the way the house was cleaned, he never reduced his rates. There are definitely better cleaning companies out there. So stay away from this one.

Raj Ditta and his staff are real pros. I’m selling my home in Marin and wanted it to look like a zillion dollars. Everything was sanitized and the entire home sparkles like brand new. His staff is friendly and works diligently. I had a few special requests, which were taken care of without any hassle, but with a smile. The price was very fair considering their attention to detail. Raj called before the girls left to make sure I was happy. The whole experience was great and I will recommend Sears Maid Service and Raj Ditta to all my friends and family.

My husband and I recently contracted with your company, Sears Maid Services, to provide us two house cleaners to assist us in a move-​out. For various reasons, we were ill-​prepared — there was a considerable amount of material that had not yet been packed, which made it difficult to clean the cabinets, shelves, etc. in which the materials were located.
The two young women that you sent were absolutely fantastic. Not only did they do a great job of cleaning, but seeing our situation, they willingly moved items around, packed items into boxes, and even helped carry the boxes to our storage area. After calling your office to get permission, they went «above and beyond» to help us get everything packed and cleaned.
They were originally expected to work about 5 or 6 hours, but changed their plans to stay and finish the job — which took about 10 hours to complete. Although they were exhausted by the end, they were unfailingly pleasant, upbeat, and positive. They worked their tails off to help us accomplish a very difficult project.
We very much appreciate the job they did, as well as your willingness to let them stay to complete the work. We could not recommend them any more highly, and we will definitely use your services again.

My problem is not with the actual cleaning, but with the management. My apartment mates and I bought a Groupon that was for a 3 hour cleaning of a two bedroom residence. I don’t think I am alone when I say that when I purchase a cleaning service deal, I am expecting a full cleaning. That just makes sense. But that is not what I got with this deal because only ONE person was sent to clean an entire residence in 3 hours. That is not good business or good management. At. All.
The woman cleaned very thoroughly, but because she is only one person, she was only able to finish the kitchen and living room in 3 hours. She ended up working overtime to vacuum the rest of the place, but was unable to clean the bathroom.
Nobody wins in this situation because we are left with a partially cleaned residence despite paying for a cleaning service, and an employee is overworked because she was sent on a one-​person job meant for an entire team.
I am incredibly disappointed and there needs to be a change in the way this deal is advertised or in the deal itself. Send an entire team to clean a residence. Make it a full cleaning instead of a timed cleaning. Nothing about the Groupon makes sense and is terrible business.

This rating is for the manager Raj Ditta.
First– Poor management and inability to keep an appointment. After exchanging several emails we set up an appointment for the cleaning, and then 24 hrs before the set appointment he wants to move up the time. I had to change my entire plan for the day because he informs that he cannot keep his appointment time.
Second– Of the two ladies who came to clean one was clearly inefficient and the other lady (she was really good) had to re-​do all the messy spots left behind and Raj Ditta actually charges me $ 60 more for the extra time that clearly his cleaners were responsible for! What annoyed me most was the fraudulent way in which he just decided on his own to charge me the extra $ 60 on my credit card and he doesn’t bother to inform me of his intensions beforehand.
I will not recommend Sears Maid Services to anyone. Very poor experience. Never hiring them again!

Awful home cleaning service. I typically use Brenda’s cleaning service for the last year or so and they are stellar. I tried sears because they had a groupon deal. First off, the manager Raj does the bookings. You have to repeat things multiple times for him to understand you. He sends one person to clean for three house (Brenda’s cleaning sends 2 people for 2 hours).
NOTHING was fully clean!!! She even arrived a half hour early, which was annoying because I wasn’t awake yet. Even with three and a half hours, the tables were not even touched, the couch was not vacuumed, the carpets in the bathroom were not vacuumed, the counters and cabinets were dirty and she left a gigantic bag of HER TRASH on our balcony!!! I even left a list for her so it was a no brainer. Incompetent, rushed and dirty. Do not book. Go to Brenda’s cleaning service or any other cleaning service is better than this.

I purchased the service through Groupon and booked the appointment right away. I am so pleased I used Sears Housecleaning Services! This morning when I left the house — my nanny was going to let the cleaning lady in — I was surprised to meet Francisca right at my doorstep. She was more than punctual and very friendly. She brought all the supplies and was ready to get started. When I came home after work the home smelled fresh and I have yet to find an area not cleaned. My nanny told me that Francisca spend more than the 4 hours I had booked and cleaned very thoroughly. In fact there are things I didn’t expect her to clean that were cleaned like having opened my walk-​in closet, put my shoes off the floor into open cubbies and vacuumed the floor; I hadn’t requested that (I had left a little list with areas I wanted focused on).The blinds are clean, all baseboards are free of dust (and dog hair of which there is always a lot with our yellow lab), and the kitchen and baths are spotless. I can tell she moved things around to get into all crevices and corners; even my son’s crib had been moved to dust behind and my husband jeans were folded neatly and replaced on the shelves in his closet. All in all, I am more than happy with the service and will use them again.
Also, to echo an earlier Unilocaler, Raj at the office is friendly, witty, and most helpful. Great service, great company! Much more professional than previous service I used before.

Only rating on the price and not performance.
After three emails, the Manager, Raj, finally disclosed that the cleaning person would be at my home for 2 – 3 hours. And he gave me a $ 99 «great deal». At $ 33.33 to $ 48.50 per hour? Does not make sense and no way one person could clean my home in 2 – 3 hours. Do your research on this service before booking.

This is absolutely the best maid services I have ever had. Raj, the manager is extremely nice & very accommodating. My maid is so sweet & goes out of her way to make sure everything is clean to my liking. She works extremely hard & always asks if there is anything else I would like done. You can’t go wrong with Sears Maid Services. They are professional, honest & diligent!

–When trying to work with the women on the other end of the phone (within her guidelines of «the deal») I felt like was dealing with a used car salesman.
Yuck.
Called Groupon and canceled order.
