This hotel is disgusting! Beware! This place puts your health at risk. I was given a room that has MOLD growing in the shower, hair on the bathroom floor, hair in the sink, and hair on the base of the toilet. I complained to the front desk only to be told there is nothing that could be done. Once I told her I would have to leave along with several other people they offered me a jacuzzi suite for one night and I’d have to move the next. No thanks! This place is disgusting. I gave this hotel a chance although my coworker told me of her experience at this location in the past and being attacked by bedbugs. I’ve never stayed with this chain before and I never will again.

Not a bad hotel. Clean, well run, nice rooms. It has wifi and hdtv’s that actually have nice clear pictures. Staff is courteous and pleasant. They are doing exterior renovations so a lot of parking is blocked. Free breakfast though it’s not the best hotel buffet I’ve had. They do a $ 100 hold on your credit card on top of the cost of your room. One staff member said in case you smoke(all rooms are non smoking). Another said for incidentals. What incidentals? There’s no minibar?

We actually had a pretty decent experience. For the money & compared to other hotels around, I would say it was a great value. The breakfast bar was legit! It had a waffle maker, a set of cooked breakfast foods that varied by day(biscuits & gravy, sausage, eggs, etc), and a juice dispenser with several different kinds. Fresh fruits and oatmeal(grits?) topped it all off nicely. My favorite part of the day! It wasn’t far from other amenities in the area(restaurants, etc), and we walked to the Wal-Mart across the street! Really the only negative comments I have are that the elevator was a bit slow, and the fitness room didn’t have much. No worries: I went for a run outdoors instead :)

The room we rented was spacious enough for two. Two large screen tvs allowed for the NCAA games to be going on while the other was sleeping. The pull out bed was fine, even though we had to hunt down sheets both times we stayed here. The bathroom seemed clean and new, but the toilet paper and tissues are a bit rough. The walls seem thin. You can hear people talking while you are in your room with the door shut… they can be in the hall or the room next door. I could hear conversations in the elevator while I was waiting for it to come up. And you need to be patient there. I would say 9 times out of 10 there was a long wait for the elevator to get to where you wanted it. We had two keys, both of which had problems with the back door, both times we were staying there. The keys wouldn’t always work on the room door either. It was a give and take. The front desk help would reset them but it was kind of tedious. There is breakfast downstairs, which was nice but if the hotel is full go early because the things will run out quicker… depending on the day, there was biscuits, gravy and eggs, yogurts, cereal, bread items with a toaster, a make-your-own waffles and juices, coffee and tea. Quite a spread. The hotel is set back a little and took a u-turn to get into the parking lot, after our GPS tried to lead us around the block, which has been blocked off. It is right near a large auction house/antique store and across a busy street from a Walmart. It was close to where we wanted to go, so I can imagine coming back here. The actual manager of this location was much more accommodating and helpful than the customer service people off the 1 – 800 number from the website. Read the fine print on the website where it says«Best Online Rate Guaranteed» because that was not the case. They do not guarantee the rate, even after claim submission, if you are not filing a claim at least 48 hours prior to arrival. This was not the best place we’ve ever stayed but by far, not the worse. You can get a good night’s sleep(but I always bring earplugs) and a nice breakfast before you are on your way!
