Budget Inn

Awful hotel, large insect in the bathroom, very dirty all around. Lights didnt work, key card didnt work, sketchy people living in room next door and hanging out outside our room. Only one towel in the bathroom, and the breakfast was sooo bad. They do have a waffle maker though. Had to dump out the coffee it was so bad! Not at all worth the price, do not stay here!

Like the other reviews I have nothing good to say about this place can’t believe I payed 57 $… For this crack head hotel. Can’t believe I saw kids staying here if you are a prostitute or a crack head and love semen and blood stains plus hundreds of cockroaches this is the place for you :)

Roach infested, discolored walls (unpainted in alot of areas), brown-​red splatters on the walls that looked to be like old blood. Toilet paper and piss on the bathroom floor upon entering room, told management… they seemed to not care. Cigarette burns in blankets. Carpet was gross! It was really dirty with torn up edges and holes throughout. My socks turned black quickly. Broken ironing board, no phone, no hairdryer, no coffeemaker (even though
stated so). This place was totally different from what
advertised. My refrigerator and microwave weren’t in the room (I requested ahead of time) when I checked in. We needed medication to be refrigerated, I let them know way in advance. When I checked in at 5am, the cops were there with a guy who was just held up gunpoint. Bunch of trash that live there on a weekly/​monthly basis. Druggies! The health department needs to come take a look at this place. Horrible Horrible place!!! Would NEVER stay here again! Would rather sleep in a tent than to ever stay at this SHITHOLE again!!!

The room was not at all as advertised. There was no HBO, no fridge, and not even a phone. They were supposed to knock on my door for a wake up call but they just ignored me.

This doesn’t even deserve a star. Due to delayed flights, my bf and I couldn’t check in to our original planned hotel bc it was very late. We stayed the night here & I had to sleep with one eye open. Our door had a paper taped to the outside with the number of our room (So that was a great first appearance.) & the door barely locked. One towel was there & it didn’t even look clean. I couldn’t even get into the bed as the sheets were stained. It may be affordable/​cheap for the area, but I would pay extra $$ any day to get out of there & to feel safe.

Really bad, blindly cancelled my reservation, the decided i needed to be charged an extra $ 50 for rebooking, im going elsewhere

Couldn’t even make it thought the night here. My girl friend and I were moving across the country and ended up needing a hotel. I called to book the budget inn in st pete, but the booking is through expedia and they wanted to book me here. We arrived late in the night and it was awful. They put us in a room in a dark alley way. And as I was walking to the room a worker there said «no, no, you are a nice girl we change your room.» They proceeded to move us to a much more well lit area of the motel. However we were staying under what appeared to be a drug ring. Young men were standing on the balcony above us yelling, and every half an hour or so a car would pull up, the person would go upstairs and leave a few minuets later.
There were stains on the sheets and the room smelled awful! But mostly the door didn’t lock well, and we were afraid for our safety and our belongings (that were in our care as we were moving). We checked out at 3 am and went to A la Quinta in St. Pete (it was lovely). The front desk would not even give us a partial refund!
