I have been coming to this campground for years without any problems(by the way this is a nice place to stay long as you don’t have to hike down to a spot). I have in fact been here 3 times in the past 5 weeks to camp, look out for the camp host«Patty» if you can ever catch her out of her trailer. very rude and not at all what a camp host should act like towards«guest». I have never had a problem up to about 3 weeks ago. A group of us went up for a few days. We brought my boat to fish in the morning and a trailer full of quads(4 to be exact) as things tend to happen a buddies clutch lever stripped out on him so we had to leave it at the campsite while we went out for a ride from Herring Creek(8 miles in off of Hwy 108) down to Leland Meadows. When we got back we were met at Meadow view by a Sheriff. He had told us our camp host«Patty» had spoke to us about the quad being on the ground and even left us a note. I explained to him she had never talked to us and what had happened and he had said the same thing he would not leave a quad in the middle of the forest to allow someone to mess with it. He was going to go back and tell her to cut some slack and explain our situation. Beware you are only allowed two vehicles per site but it seems at «Party’s discretion» She had given us a hard time about an extra vehicle(when there was plenty of space) and when we brought it up to her about 6+ other campsites with a truck, trailer and a boat or car, truck and trailer or just the trailer in the dirt of the campsite…(the same thing she called out the sheriff for on us) she told us if we wanted to get picky tell them at Pinecrest. Now does that sound like a camp host that is supposed to be happy and make it a memorable camping trip?! Bye bye Patty hope your winter is long and you don’t return.

I have been to this campground three times, I love it. Can’t give it five stars because it doesn’t have showers and the water pressure is so weak the toilets barely flush.(You can take showers by the pinecrest store $ 5 for 12 minutes) It’s usually a pretty mellow campground with more space than the pinecrest campground where the sites are smaller and close to each other. This place is close enough to walk down to the lake unless you have a lot of stuff to carry, then you’ll have to drive and parking is crazyyyy! Most loops have brand new bear boxes to store your stuff and large tables. It’s so beautiful and everyone is always so respectful and nice. This is one of my favorite places to camp!
