Rivergate Mountain Lodge, a hidden inn over the river Pigeon Forge, Tn near the old mill. We are within walking distance to the Old Mill and the New Leconte Convention Center and the Trolley to Dollywood. Our rooms consist of 2 Dbl Queen Beds or 1 King Bedroom suite with a large 2 person Jacuzzi all rooms are over the river with a private balcony in all rooms. We are a locally owned and operated motel raised here in Sevier Co. Call for reservations. We do small walkin weddings also and give you a discount on your honeymoon suite. History

Established in 1991.

We have always been in the hotel industry in this area so in 1991 we purchased Rivergate Mountain Lodge and remodeled the entire motel and built a 2 level condo for ourselves on the top so we could service our customers ²⁴⁄₇ by not leaving them unattended. When you stay here you come as a customer but when you leave you are our extended family forever. We do love our customers and they leave happy to have found a unique hotel over the river, hidden from the traffic but still within walking distance or ride the trolley to any place in our area. Dollywood is only a good country mile from us and the Old Mill Pottery House Café is about a half block and the same for the new Leconte Convention Center. We would love to have you stay with us.

Pat & Fred Maples are local to the area as Fred was born to a gospel quartet family singing along the river and Dolly Parton’s family was singing on the other side of the river. Pat’s love was doing missionary work in South America for many years. They both love the motel business as they love people. They are now 50 years in the business so they would love to add you to their memories as they reach their golden years. Amazing but they both are there to welcome you when you call or stop by.
