Management have been extremely helpful in getting us settled in our new apartment. It’s quiet despite living close to I10. So convenient to everything and affordable. It’s a hidden little gem.

No surprises. It has been a peaceful experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds are in great shape. All in all I have zero complaints. — 5 stars

Constant water problems, there was a month or so during the summer of 2015 I had to shower elsewhere because the water was muddy and disgusting. Our first payment went through on the banks end but not on managements end and they couldn’t figure out where the problem was. Leasing office is run by monkeys I swear. Found ticks on my dog who had been tick free until we moved in. Dog park is AstroTurf and no one cleans it. I’m sure that’s where the ticks came from. Lost a Christmas package sent to me all because it didn’t have the apartment number on it. Ludicrous. My room is always 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house because of the crappy way the AC was installed, according to the person they had come look at it. About the only good thing is that the walls are thick so you have a low chance of hearing your neighbors unless they’re being especially loud. The pool and hot tub are well maintained. Recently got a recycling bin but it’s always packed. Overall not worth the rent.

First I will start out with the hot water. It never failed at least 2 – 3 time a month we would get the email, the hot water pipe was busted and we would be without hot water for the day. I have a whole folder of those emails in my email. It was annoying not knowing when I woke up in the morning if I could count on taking a shower or not.
Next lets move on to the roach problem. In March we had to have the apt bombed which meant we had to pack all out stuff and leave the apt for 4 hours. A huge inconvience. While the bombing reduced the activity it did not eliminate the problem. The activity was still bad in the kitchen and bathroom. While they replaced the appliances it was still gross and disgusting. See pictures attached.
Finally my day came I was moving! I figured I would have to pay for the carpet in the bedroom because of my dog. No big deal I have insurance that covers it. I gave in my keys Sept 21. Now here it is Oct 21 exactly 1 month later I get a bill for the carpet. No problem right? Wrong. I call Marquis and said I would have appeciated this letter sooner and he says he signed it Sept 23. While that is true the postmark on the letter is Oct 16, which means it was sitting on someones desk for 3 weeks and how convient I get it exactly 30 days after I move out. It gets better, The letter states if I do not pay the charges by 30 days from move out (which mind you is today the day I got the letter) it goes straight to collections. Marquis was nice enough to remind me that also when I called today to question the bill since there was something on there about water. Then he gets rude with me telling me to calm down. I was not even yelling I was asking legit questions.
I have a call into Alliance Corp offices, to a lady named Tina S. regarding this matter. I have everything documented with times and dates. If this shows up on my credit report. I will be seeing these people in Small Claims Court.
Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place!

Also had problems with the water but management was quick to respond to issues and fix problem. Overall great apartments!

Had issues with shower when I moved in. Showers fixed but the tiles are cracked now and water can seep behind the faucet fixture. Pool seems to always be closed. Other than that no issues

I also was «Banned» from the office for a disagreement I had with Marquis the current property manager (with the rate of employee turnover at this complex, he probably won’t be here by the end of the month) He didn’t like the fact that I informed a prospective tenant about our continual water outage problem. So far since January 1, 2015 the water has been out 10 times. And the last time it was out, they didn’t even give us a time frame as to when the water would be back on. I have lived here 4 years, but will not be renewing my lease. If you like having what you pay for, don’t move here. Alo, since they seem to cater to dog owners, the grounds of the complex now smell of dog urine. The only good thing is no roaches !! (except in the rental office)

Leased from Serifina for two years and overall it was a disappointing experience. The property has become increasingly run down over this time. Management was difficult to work with at times. Their bill department was increasing delinquent with processing the monthly invoices, to the point of arriving a day or two until payment was due.
I experience countless water outages over my period there. Many times I could have to go without basic sanitation.
There are several nicer properties in Ahwatukee and this one should be avoided.
Update: Upon leaving the property, management undertook some questionable billing practices. I left the property on good terms, placing the required 60 day notice and paid the remaining balance due. Several weeks later I received and additional invoice for additional charges and withheld the security deposit.
Please avoid this property.

I opted for emails through this site, and am appalled at this review. The last review was written by an Alliance employee, she’s my neighbor. Apparently, you don’t have to have integrity to work there. Thus proven here by the employee and also by the manager having her write it. I have liked living here, but will not be renewing my lease after reading this. Bad business ethics.

This place constantly has broken water pipes, and the hot water is always a problem. So if you like to bathe in warm or hot water don’t live here. For the price the aparments go for at this place you can go a street down and get a better deal.
