History
Established in 2010.
Initially started as a division of a bail bonds & probationary monitoring company in 2010, Shield Security & Patrol has since grown to be security partner with the City of Phoenix, The XLIX Super Bowl Host Committee, and other Fortune 500 companies and municipalities.
We’ve combined many years of military, law enforcement, security, fugitive recovery, and offender correction/rehabilitation experience to our management team in order to create the most experienced leaders possible.
In 2014, due to rapid growth and recognition in the security industry, the management team came to the decision that it was time to separate from our original company «conglomerate» and rebrand the company to be a «stand-alone» in our journey to becoming a notable powerhouse in the security industry.

After an extensive search and numerous interviews with all of the large multi-national security companies as well as several of the local mid-size operations in the Phoenix Market, I accepted an offer made by a smaller operation; PMSAZ Security.
PMSAZ Security was owned by Probationary Monitoring Services of Arizona (PMSAZ) which also owned PMSAZ Bail Bonds. However, after careful and deliberate planning PMSAZ Security was rebranded into Shield Security & Patrol as a stand-alone operation.
In the 4th Quarter of 2014 with exceptional Teamwork from a seasoned Operations Manager and support from the Ownership that shared my vision, I turned Shield Security & Patrol into a local powerhouse that fought-off the major security companies and with the help of my colleagues at ASIS secured the contract to handle Security for the Super Bowl XLIX Host Committee. In addition we secured additional contracts with Shea Homes, City of Tolleson, City of Phoenix, and several smaller clients.
