Nita Nanny

Stayed at the JW Marriott camelback resort for my husbands work retreat and needed a sitter for our 6 month old. I have never left her with anyone except family and was naturally very hesitant and nervous. Nita nanny was one of the preferred options given to us at the front desk and went to Unilocal after calling them so I figured this might help someone in my position.
Our nanny was amazing. She was on time, was ok with me not wanting her out of the room, asked if there was anything I needed her to do, was very respectful and professional. She also answered promptly my millions of texts checking on my daughter. :) I was comfortable enough to call and request Emma again a second time for a dinner event we had tonight.
I highly recommend this company and especially Emma.

My wife and I stayed in Scottsdale and required a babysitter. Note that we never had anyone outside our family watch our kids. We searched for a babysitting service in the area and found Nita Nanny. After contacting them we were provided scheduling options and from there we scheduled a babysitter. Mickey was responsive, professional, and thorough.
The babysitter, Emma, arrived on time, was professional, courteous, and was very comfortable with our kids. She left us a card with her cell phone number; we texted her a few times and she responded immediately.
Ultimately, this service was terrific; Mickey was attentive to our questions and scheduling. Emma was professional and courteous the entire way. Well done!

My husband and I used Nita Nanny back in February when I had a business trip in Scottsdale and wanted to combine a family vacation with my business trip. I was referred to them by our hotel and spoke to Mickey and was very impressed from the start with his professionalism, and level of detail that he provided which allowed my husband and I to feel secure that our children would be in good hands. My kids, ages 2 and 3 loved the nanny! She provided age appropriate activities, sent me pictures of them playing throughout the day, was timely and flexible when we needed her to come back one evening for a business dinner that came up unplanned. I wish there was a Nita Nanny here in Chicago where we live! I will definitely be using them when we return to the AZ area.

I had Nita Nanny come and sit for my children at my home for a wedding that I couldn’t find a sitter for. Before leaving we showed the sitter they sent were all the kids games where that they loved Candyland and Chutes an ladders, all the books, and what toys they liked.
While at the wedding my husband received emails from Amazon letting us know our children had watched SIX episodes of Bubble Guppies (at a cost of us of 3.99 each). We left early from the wedding.
When we arrived home we asked what the kids had done while away. We were regaled with stories of Candyland and games and activities. No mention of any TV. I was curious to what she would say so I asked if they had watched any TV. The sitter replied” oh a bit.” I walked away a little upset. I came back and asked how much… «Quite a few episodes»
I looked on our camera that we have for security and the TV went on less than 20 minutes from when we left. The sitter was only watching them for 4 hours while they were awake. So for $ 20.00 an hour plus a 15 dollar travel fee we got one good hour of care. On the surveillance camera I also saw her looking through some stuff that we had on our table.
I contacted the owner Reyna about this. Honestly, I don’t think she thought that it was a very big deal. In fact, she tried to blame my son — it was him that had the remote. Yes, my son was the one who pushed the button on the remote, but there was an adult there to supervise– who was not supervising. She said that sitter was cooking and that is why she was letting them watch TV. We had a thing of mac an cheese and a hamburger that just needed to be warmed up.
On review of the video– my kids were in no danger. The sitter was not harsh or abusive. If you need a warm body to watch your children while you are in town. They may be a decent option. I personally will not use nor recommend this service to anyone.
The sitter we had was acclaimed to have been one of their best and have worked with them for quite a while. If this is how they «watch» children when they are in a home with access to toys, games, and books. You can only imagine what is going to happen when they are in a hotel room.
Incredibly disappointed.
Their services are $ 15 for the first child $ 5 for each additional child. Plus a travel fee for certain parts of the valley.

Nita Nanny was perfect from start to finish! Mickey returned my call immediately and was both thorough and enthusiastic. We were staying at the Arizona Grand and they sent Jan to stay with our three year old son for all three of the nights we needed someone. My son ADORED Jan. He is missing her and talks about her often. Jan brought age appropriate activities and was incredibly engaged and kind with our son. It is hands down the best babysitting experience I have ever had. My only complaint is that Nita Nanny and Jan are so far away but if we are ever in the area again I will use them and request Jan whether or not we need the help so that my son can see his buddy again! Outstanding service! Our daughters loved playing with Jan. She was professional, talented, warm, and caring. We will definitely be using this service and her care-​giving again!!!

Nita Nanny was so professional! Reyna was very kind and very thorough asking what we may need from her for our daughter. She also brought age appropriate toys, which was ver thoughtful. Used Nita Nanny on a referral from the Fairmount Princess concierge service. Had never used a non-​family member to babysit my daughter up to this point. So why not jump off and use a nanny service, in a hotel, in a new city, as your first experience, right? Safe to say, this experience was 10 000% better than I could have ever hoped for. Reyna took time to understand the likes and dislikes of my daughter, asked about eating habits, alergies, and what would be acceptable i.e. Walk around the resort while it’s nice out or stay in the room exclusively? She brought age appropriate games and activities, which I expected. What I didn’t expect, and what eased my mind the entire 5 hours I was at an event at night, was the updates via text message of pictures and what they were doing. Seeing my daughter smiling the whole time was peace of mind for me. I used Reyna again the next night and when my daughter saw her walking into the room and gave out a big «HI!!!» I knew I had made a solid choice. Other friends used a different service for nannying during the conference and did not get the same updates throughout the night I got and had a different sitter each night.
I can’t help but give Nita Nanny the strongest recommendation possible.

I highly recommend Nita Nanny! I always recommend them to all my local friends as well as out of town friends staying at resorts! We first found Nita Nanny while having a staycation at the Hyatt at Gainey Ranch with our 9 mo old and 3 year old. We had such great results the first night, we ended up using their services for our entire stay. Then, we started using their nanny services in our home. Every nanny has been very professional and amazing with our children. They always bring arts and crafts and keep my daughter entertained the entire time. Reyna is the owner and she truly is the baby whisperer! Our kids love her! Nita Nanny is the best nanny agency I have used in Scottsdale!

We just returned from a trip to the Phoenix area, where we used the Nita Nanny service. This was my first experience with this type of nanny of service. We are very pleased with the service we received. Reyna was so loving and kind with our 11 ½ month old daughter. I especially loved that she sent me text updates (with pictures) throughout the evening to reassure me that all was going well. I will definitely recommend Nita Nanny to friends and plan on using the company again. It was a positive experience from my first phone call to our hug goodbye.

We highly recommend Nita Nanny. The Hyatt directly sent their contact information. They ensured our 2 yr and 4 yr old were entertained, safe and cared for during our stay at the Hyatt. I was very concerned not having used them before. It was immediately obvious that we made a good choice when i started seeing the hotel employees coming up to say hi and acknowledging the nanny as someone who watches kids their often.

Fantastic service — Would absolutely use them again and recommend to anyone. Two nannies watched multiple children with different medical needs– they were very informed and prepared for any situation. Making us feel very at ease. Played games, crafts, and provided lots of fun for the kids.
