History

Established in 2012.

Canine & Feline Concierge came from the owner branching off from a pet care company that she had co-owned with another pet lover.

There are times in running a company that you have to make a decision as to what is best for the clients that is exactly what she did. Using all of her professional experience in owning 3 other companies, she set out to create a company that not only provided pet care services, but personal assistant services for the pet owners.

It was realized by her, that there are times when she really wish she not only had some one to walk her dogs after a long day at work but maybe someone who could have picked up groceries for dinner, and the dry cleaning before they closed that she knew what type of services Canine & Feline Concierge should offer aside from pet services. That’s where YOU come in. We want to take care of your pets, and YOU!

Business Owner

Vanessa was co-owner of another pet care company for over 3.5 years and decided it was time to branch off on her own to create Canine & Feline Concierge. She has an amazing pack of dogs that are her fur babies, and you can tell by their behavior that they are loved.

Vanessa opens up her personal home to board pet companions of clients for weekends, weeks, and months at a time. They are provided with an in-home environment with a house that is truly run by the dogs. When boarding they will have access to a dog friendly pool, dog door, and a large back yard with plenty of shade to rest in.

When Vanessa branched off on her own, many clients followed due to the professional yet personal pet care provided to them and their pet companions.

Not only did clients follow Vanessa, so did some sitters, who have the experience and knowledge to provide the same professional yet personal care to all fur babies.

Vanessa is no longer the owner of this company. It is now owned by Tiffany who is not great at running this business. We hired her to watch our special needs dog (diabetic and needs two insulin shots per day) and she nearly killed him. She was supposed to arrive on Saturday night to give our dog his medicine, she instead came in the morning right after we left our house and gave our dog more medicine putting his life at risk. When we asked her what time she administered the medicine, she said 7am. I asked her if she was sure, she said she was sure. We didn’t leave our house until 8:30am, and when I told Tiffany this she then said she didn’t really know because she hired someone else to watch out dogs.
We repeatedly asked her to find out from her «employee» what time our dog was given a second dose of medicine. She said that it’s hard to find good employees and sometimes her employees lie to her about when they show up for appointments and how the visits went. When we informed her how serious this situation is and that he needs to be seen by a Vet right away, she said she couldn’t locate our emergency paperwork to get that information. We then gave her the information. She called the vet, as did I at the same time and the instructions were to take him to an emergency room right away. We asked Tiffany to let us know the minute he gets to the Vet.
After 90 minutes, she still had not taken our dog to the Vet as instructed. At this point we expressed our concern and pleaded with her to take our dog to the Vet, as instructed by us (the owners) and the Vet. Tiffany told us we were being unprofessional and stopped all communications (shut her phone off and didn’t reply to texts), and tried to use the Vet as a mediator (which apparently is extremely professional). 5 hours later (after we cancelled our vacation and had to return home) our dog still had not been taken to the Vet.
We cancelled our service with Tiffany and requested her to return our key to the house, which she still has not done. We have even had the police (who I used as a mediator since she will not answer her phone or return a text) to request her to return the key and she refuses to do so.
Please, please, please do not use this company.

Our black lab Prancer Is one pampered pooch so when we travel away from home, we know he’ll get playtime, feedings, snuggles, and even refreshing swims in the pool! We get periodic updates and pictures of all the fun Prancer is having… We even got little extras like newspaper and mail pickup so the house did not look unattended. All I can say is the services are top-notch and Prancer-approved!!!

Vanessa has been our pet sitter for the last two years, we can not even think of what we did before she came into our lives. We can leave town knowing that our babies (two Pomeranian, one Australian Shepperd, & one tabby) are going to be extremely well care for.
All of our dogs and the cat love her and when we come home they seem to miss her more than they did us. She is a much better option than having to take them to a pet resort which is what we did before.

Canine & Feline Concierge should be the standard in pet care. Vanessa has personally boarded my Ibizan Hound, Spartacus as well as my mom’s dogs (a Lhasa Apso named Rory, Chocolate Lab named Jake, and very energetic Boxer named Tyson). All of our dogs had a blast boarding with Vanessa. They were treated like family members. Spartacus is use to sleeping in bed with me, so he got rule of the beds in her house. He had a blast playing in her backyard with the dog friendly swimming pool, boulders to climb on, and plenty of room to run and play. He had access to the outside whenever he wanted, but usually preferred to snuggle on the couch with Vanessa and her family. If you choose Canine & Feline Concierge, you can be sure that your fur baby will receive the best possible care and be treated exactly as you would treat them at home. Vanessa kept me updated on how Spartacus was doing while I was away, which really put my mind at ease. All of our dogs got plenty of exercise and playtime with Vanessa. I would never board my pet with anyone else! Canine & Feline Concierge is the BEST!
I give them 5 stars and I know my mom would, too, if she had a Unilocal account!
