History

Established in 2009.

At Clean Air Cab, we believe in serving people and protecting our planet.

We do this by employing the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff, by providing timely and impeccable service, and by utilizing industry leading eco-​friendly technologies. We also give back generously to our community.

We started our company in 2009 with a tiny taxi cab fleet of ten Toyota Prius vehicles and very big ideas for creating positive change in our community! Since then, we’ve grown to a fleet of over 40 vehicles, we have established multiple partnerships and with the help of our customers we have donated over $ 46,000 to local organizations.

Being the first eco-​friendly taxi cab company in the valley, we made hybrid vehicles the new taxi cab standard. We continue to lead the competition by remaining the most progressive and eco-​friendly transportation company in Arizona.

I’m Brandy, the Director of Operations at Clean Air Cab.

I have been with this company for over four years. Our intention is to take the trendy out of ‘going green’ and deliver a service that allows consumers to be green just by participating, and have an exceptional experience every time they do.

The cab wasn’t priced any different than other companies, but it was the most accommodating drive I’ve had. The driver called me 10 minutes before and then again when they arrived at my location. I can’t complain.

I just want to take a moment on behalf of the students, family, faculty and stafff of Vista Grove Academy how appreciative of Clean Air Cab we are. Vista Grove Academy lost a 14 year old student suddenly and in his honor we put together a balloon release and tree planting ceremony in his honor. Clean Air Cab donated to this event. They are a family owned business and know what the word family means just as Vista Grove Academy is not only a school but we are a family. Not only did they donate but one of their driver’s went above and beyond and actually assisted in picking up other donations and donated money to the family to help with his funeral. Michael Lawrence is not only an amazing driver but a driver with compassion. Thank you Clean Air Cab and thank you Michael Lawrence.

Placed a call on Saturday 1:35pm to request transportation from Goodyear to Phoenix airport at a 2:15pm pickup. I’ve never been a patient person at waiting for confirmation, so I called back at 1:49pm and got confirmation that a driver had been assigned to my route. Perfect! The driver of car #62 gave me a call at 2:10 when he got to my front door (5 minutes early which I can never complain about). Considering that I was requesting a pickup within 30 – 35 minutes from when I needed to leave the house, I would call this super-​speedy and prompt service. Both the dispatch operator and my transport driver were very well-​versed and calm in speech. I was even offered an ice-​cold water during the ride! I would gladly recommend their services.

I was having a lot of problems with another cab company, and after seeing Clean Air Cab dropping people off at my apartment complex, I decided to give them a try. Today was my first time taking Clean Air Cab. I scheduled it ahead of time because I had to be in court. The driver was 15 minutes early which was good. When I was ready to go home, a cab arrived quickly. The drivers were friendly and I will use them again in the future.

I arranged for a cab pick-​up for 4:10 PM, confirmed with the girl who called me. I just got a call at 4:15 PM from my driver saying he would be here in «10 to 12» minutes and that he had just gotten the job. I have a flight this evening and arranged the time so I would be at the airport 90 minutes early and now I may not get there ’til 45 minutes before my flight. What is the point of arranging for a cab for a certain time if drivers won’t even be dispatched until after that time?

Ordered a cab for 4 pm at 7 am. We called to check at 4:10 and 4:25. At 4:33 we cancelled and made other arrangements. I’ll never use them again.

I rode with Clean Air Cab 5 times while attending a conference in Phoenix. Johnny Meleschi was great! He was honest, the rates were always right on, more reasonable than any of the other companies. Johnny was courteous, drove well, and the car was always clean. He was so helpful, I asked for him every time. For you night time partyers, he even has great speakers and music in the back!

Johnny Meleschi@ Clean Air Cab is a wonderful driver! He is extremely punctual and always arrives on time! Upon entering his vehicle he offers a selection of music choices for your liking to play on the radio-​making your ride that much more enjoyable, giving you a sense of control and comfort during your ride. Not to mention price is cheaper than most other cab companies in Phoenix. Most importantly, he is honest and trustworthy and dedicated at his job. I Highly recommend Clean Air Cab, and in particular Johnny Meleschi or your personal driver!

Johnny Meleschi is the most friendly guy I know. He doesn’t just treat you like a passenger he treats you like a friend. He dropped me off at my destination and even picked me up, took the time from his personal life and went out of his way to take me back home. I’ll definitely be back.

My ride to the airport fell through at the last minute (their car broke down) and my frantic phone call to Clean Air Cab resulted in a friendly driver showing up at my door in just 15 minutes. The cost was about $ 10 less than SuperShuttle usually wants for the same ride. The car was clean and smelled OK. The ride went smoothly. The only negative I could see is if you have a large family or lots of luggage, these are relatively small sedans.

I scheduled a pickup online last night for a 3:45am pickup to take me to the airport. Within 10 – 15 minutes I received a phone call confirming everything. Then about 30 – 40 minutes before my pickup I received a call from the cab driver Johnny confirming my address and mentioning that he would be a little early incase I wanted to leave sooner. Johnny was very well dressed and jumped out of the car to load my bags and open my door for me. Excellent driver and excellent service. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a cab ride somewhere. Thanks!

I called Clean Air Cab two hours in advance to arrange for a taxi to take my mother to the airport. The guy on the phone took the address, phone number, verified everything. Very simple.
Well, THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. NO PHONE CALL. NO NOTHING. She waited outside for like 20 minutes. Very stressful as she had to catch a flight.
My poor mom had to very quickly find an actual reliable taxi service to take her to PHX so she wouldn’t miss her flight.
I will NEVER AGAIN call this company and I suggest you don’t either, especially if you’re actually planning on being somewhere on time. Absolutely terrible, worthy of zero stars. DO NOT USE THEM.

I love Clean Air!.. almost every week I call to reserve a cab to pick me up at work and they never fail to offer great service. I have come to consider them friends. the dispatchers are always so pleasant and the drivers great. Just today Chris Nunley helped me get home. he called when he was on the way to reassure me and called again when he was right outside the door. just a couple of minutes early which is perfect. I never worry when Clean Air is on the way…

OK, despite good intentions Clear Air Cab left us stranded again this Saturday afternoon. So we are giving up. Setting up a regular pickup is NOT a guarantee that you will indeed have a ride. Back to square one.

Excellent cab experience! Greg S. was outstanding! Clean vehicle, prompt, courteous service, reliable dispatch, and great communication on both the initial trip and the return. Greg S was not only friendly, but flexible. He initially took me to a restaurant while I was in for business. Great trip. I asked if I could call him for the return, and on the way back to the hotel, I asked him to swing through an In-​N-​Out because I had never had one. He knew the area well, got me to my first In-​N-​Out and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg to wait while I got us both milk shakes! If I come back into town, this is my cab company!

Called at 5 o’clock to set up a 10:30 pick up to get visitors to the airport. Driver called me at 10 and said he was on his way. Great. At 10:30 he called and said he was at my house though he wasnt. I went outside and looked up and down the street-​nothing. He argued with me that he was there in spite of me telling him that I was outdoors, phone in hand and he definitely wasn’t there. He left me on the phone and I heard his GPS rerouting him… I hung up and spoke to dispatch and they said he was just around the block.
He showed up at 11:05. I askes dispatch to compensate the fare and theu refused. Since the flight is atidnight, let’s hope they make it.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Pay the lil extra and get reliable transportation!!!

I have consistently been using this Clean for 8 months now. The prices vary only a little spending on the drivers. But I was only recently asked to go on Unilocal by driver Larry ID Number: 1821 on 3÷2÷2015. Anyways, I get to work on time when I use Clean Air Cab, and the prices are cheaper than Discount Cab. Also did I mention that the dispatch have very calm and nice schedulers. They do. :)

First and last time using Clean Air Cab. Scheduled a ride 3 days ago. I had a doctor’s appointment 15 minutes from my location at 3:15, so I scheduled the cab to pick me up at 2:30. At 2:40 no cab, so I called their office, they told me 10 minutes. At 3:00 I called again and sat on hold for 5 minutes before hanging up. Called my doctor said I would be late, and was told any more than 10 minutes late and I’d have to reschedule. By now it was 3:15, still no cab (45 minutes after pick-​up time) and apparent that I was going to miss my appointment so I canceled it. Then called the office and canceled my cab. Not once did they call me and say «Hey our driver is going to be late» and them telling me 10 minutes the first I called was an outright lie. Never, ever, ever again… HORRIBLE!

I called them twice in one day and both times they were prompt, courteous, respectful, and relaxed. I like it.
Another place said I would have to wait 2 hours. I called this place and they said 25 minutes. They actually came in 20 minute So.
For my midnight trip to the airport, I scheduled earlier during the day and they came 15 minutes early.
Nice people. Will ride again.

5 am pick up for the airport scheduled clearly and checked with a follow up call.
No taxi at 5. Called, and the woman said she would try to find someone and would have a taxi there in 5 minutes. But then the driver called and said he was 15 minutes away. I had to get out of bed to drive guests to the airport. This company is not serious.

Called around 8:54 am to schedule a pick up for 3:00pm today. I got a call from dispatch 1:33pm confirming the pick up. By 3:30pm, still no cab so I decided to call dispatch and they told me they do not have enough drivers today. I almost missed my flight, luckily I ended up using Über app on my phone and got to the airport on time for almost half the price. Not a good experience with this company. I do not recommend it at all.

In the past we have had good experience with this company but this morning they screwed us. Made a reservation on line last night for a cab to the airport at 5am. After not receiving the promised call back with a confirmation I had to call them. They initially could not find the reservation. After about 10 minutes on the phone the reservation was found and he assured me it was set.
Well, at 5 minutes after 5 this morning I finally got a call from the driver telling me he was late and 15 minutes away. I told him to forget it. Had to drive ourselves.
End result will be $ 120 parking bill at the airport due to their incompetence!

The answer is 3. This is a real story by the way.. .
My cab was at my house about 20 minutes after I called. Friendly, fast service – got my daughter to school and me to work with a few minutes to spare. Price very good, and you get to ride in a hybrid vehicle to boot. The inside of the cab smelled like a cheap hotel, but that was really the only negative I experienced.
Really friendly service from start to finish, and the price was right.
