Our experience using this shuttle service was very poor.
Our pick-​up was late by about 20 minutes, which wasn’t too bad because we expected a wait, however, the rest of the experience was unacceptable.
Our rider made us wait while she had to get a gas card from her supervisor while still at the airport pick-​up spot. She picked us up with an empty tank and we were going to North Scottsdale (15 miles). Our driver apologized to us but then proceeded to complain about her co-​workers and the poor communication of the shuttle service (She complained that the company’s headquarters in Nevada, didn’t know what they were doing). While she was driving, she continued texting and answered the phone. It may be legal to talk and text in AZ but the drivers should have hands-​free devices at all times. I was with my young son and the driver continued to complain during the whole drive, using unflattering language and phrases. When we turned off to Shea Blvd., I had to give her directions to the gas station. At the gas station, she left us in the hot shuttle while she gassed up. We then arrived at our destination, after an hour drive. I found Skoot on an internet search and it appealed to me because the advertisement stated, quick, courteous, and clean service, but I was sadly disappointed. We will not be using Skoot in the future. For the amount we paid, I expected a lot more. If your service has a satisfaction guarantee policy, I respectfully ask for a refund.

Made a pickup reservation at Phoenix-​Mesa airport for my wife and 3 year old son days in advance. Called the dispatch number upon arriving as instructed and received their voicemail each time I called. I left a message and never received a call back nor did our ride ever show up. Would not use this service again. Thank God for Über…

HORRIBLE customer service and wait time at Phoenix airport! My son was put on hold several times and disconnected several times due to issues with your phones resulting in his phone battery dying. Subsequently I was also put on hold and disconnected AND HUNG UP ON calling for him several times as well! He is still waiting for the shuttle and has seen tons of SuperShuttles going by! I will never use your service again! May have been a little less expensive than Supershuttle but obviously NOT WORTH IT! CANNOT BELIEVE YOU ACTUALLY TREAT CUSTOMERS THIS WAY AND ARE STILL IN BUSINESS! It’s the busiest travel weekend of the year and you handled it horribly! If I could give you –10 starts I would! The epitome of horrible business!

I’m in a Skoot van right now and it’s not worth it. The driver won’t let me open a window. One of the passengers smells horrible and constantly coughs.
A 30min ride has turned into 2hrs. I’m concerned we will be late for our flight if security is busy. Just get a cab.

Made the reservation for my father on the internet. I received a confirmation email with instructions for the pick up to the airport. On the day of the trip the driver showed up on the scheduled time in a clean bus and transported my dad to the airport. He said the driver was nice and spoke to him the whole time.
I then scheduled for a pick up back when my dad returned. The driver called as she knew my dads flight had landed and provided me with instructions as to where my dad needed to go. I explained to the driver that my dad was a senior and hard of hearing and she said that she would wait for him.
Thank you Skoot for making sure that my dad arrived home safely since I couldn’t do it myself! We will definitely use the service again in the future.

I have use this shuttle for the last 8 rides. each and everytime was a bad experience from the begining on the booking. you get these non speaking english people that keep asking you the same question and repeat your answers but wrongfully, then, you have to explain again. you will get a disconnection, so you would have to call back. the phone line that they use is very intermitten. they always come late to pick you up disregardes of your flight time. Or they take you on a unplanned route to pick up others. I will never use this service again. This rating is)0))00000000000 star. i had to select one because Unilocal makes me inorder to post.

Having recently traveled to Phoenix for business, I was in need of an efficient, affordable means of travel to take me from Mesa Airport to my hotel.
There’s nothing worse than being jet-​lagged and not knowing an area when you arrive in a new state.
I made my reservation with SKOOT online prior to my flight as I didn’t want to have to call from the UK.
The service was impeccable. The clean and spacious Mercedes shuttle was waiting for me as soon as I arrived, despite a slight delay with my baggage. The driver was friendly and chatty, telling me a few good spots to try out during my trip and getting me to my hotel quickly and professionally.
I couldn’t recommend SKOOT any more, definitely a fantastic and professional service.

Not even one star! Made a reservation last night to be picked up at phx. They had flight, time, and they even sent me a text I received when I landed. Followed their instructions, go out north door 7, to prearranged vehicle area. Waited 30 minutes. No one showed. Called twice. Barely could get through. Gentleman said the driver was at the airport and would contact me. 45 min later, nothing. Called again, on hold now for 15 min. Found super shuttle. In their van now! Don’t ever book anything with this company. You’ll be waiting forever!!!

I made our reservation over two weeks before our travel date. I specifically chose this company for the fact we were traveling with 2 seniors in their 80’s and thought a private Mercedes Benz van would be a great option for them. I prepaid the return trip including the gratuity on Paypal.
On the morning of our pick at 5:45 am a van fromSuper Shuttle arrives. If I wanted super shuttle, I would have reserved that company. I asked the driver if the company had a mix up and she confirmed my name, address and pick up time. Getting the two seniors in the van was very difficult. When we got to the airport the driver informed me that the gratuity was not included and showed me the price the company said they were paying for the service. Nice start to our vacation!
When we arrived at our destination, I get a call from Ride Skoot saying our pick up tomorrow will be with Super Shuttle. They obviously had the wrong day. I called them back and explained we were already at our destination and we were very disappointed we did not receive the company or service we paid for. Even if we had known it was Super Shuttle picking us up, that is so misleading.
I do have to say the return pick up was with the Mercedes van. The driver and prompt pick up was great service but unfortunately I will not use this company again.

Steer clear!!! Bought living social coupon made round trip reservation. Day of my reservation I called to confirm and they told me there was a glitch in the system but that they would reschedule for 12 minutes later than the original time, which was fine with me. After 15 mins of waiting after newly scheduled time I called to confrim driver was en route. Rep told me it would be an additional 40 minutes! How can a company that is driving customers to the airport not have a better organized, on time, service?! Then I told the rep I could not wait 40 mins as I had a flight to get on .she asked me to hold, then magically the call disconnected. Driver called me 45 mins later to ask where I was… –_​_​– «uhm I’m at the airport». we’ll see how my refund process goes; luckily I charged to my Amex.

Follow up on my negative review: I just received a call from someone from Skoot, who was very apologetic about the poor service I received, refunded me the difference in the price I paid the other company, and made a very sincere promise that if I take the return trip with them, he will personally make sure that I have a positive experience.
They are obviously concerned about their public relations, and I think I am ready to give them the benefit of the doubt, having seen some very positive reviews on this site.
Moral of the story: if you get bad service, report it. If the company is really concerned they will contact you and make amends. If you do not hear from them, they are exactly what you thought they were.
I will report how the return trip worked out if I decide to take the chance and go with them. I like helping start up companies, and I think that competition keeps everyone doing their best.

I made a reservation for the shuttle at least 24 hours prior to my flight arriving at the Mesa airport at about 9:30 — 10:00 PM. I called for the dispatch as soon as my flight landed and was told it would take 20 – 30 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. After the 20 – 30 minutes, I received a call saying that the shuttle would be running upwards of an hour late because of coinciding scheduling across town (rather poorly planned) and they recommended I find a different service. I wasn’t too inconvenienced by the wait and wasn’t sure I had enough the money for a cab, so I declined the recommendation and told them to just pick me up when they could.
A bit over an hour later, my shuttle arrived. The driver was personable and we made decent conversation, but she wasn’t the most cautious driver. When I asked if I could get some sort of discount for the excessive wait, she called her boss to ask him about it while she was driving (no attachments for her phone on the dashboard). Apparently there was no supervisor she could contact on duty and I ended up paying the full price. I’m not too bothered by that, but that she couldn’t contact her manager at all was definitely a sign of poor management. There should be a supervisor available whenever there are workers on call, even if it’s late.
All in all, would not recommend this service nor use it again, especially not in the evening.

My wife’s airport shuttle came ONE HOUR EARLY last Friday for Sky Harbor!

This really threw her for a loop. No time to grab the cell phone charger, turn off the heating, put the milk into the freezer after breakfast and all the last minute things you can’t do the night before. This really inconvenienced her vacation and a bad start to what should have been a fun trip.
A friend of hers was coming along and meant to arrive half an hour before. She didn’t possibly know how to contact that person. Lucky, that person had her phone on while driving and they could pick her up. The stress itself was most unfair and spoiled what was a well deserved vacation.
Back in Phoenix, Monday, when my wife phoned the company they asked her what she wanted. Rebate/​discount of some type? No, they don’t do that. They could talk to the driver about the «unprofessional» behavior.
When my wife continued to explain the value of having a phone/​computer for a trip the male who’d answered the phone slammed on her. Well, there’s no professional phone operation either. A shame. I’ve used them before and they were good. We won’t risk taking them again and are prepared to pay a few dollars extra to make certain we arrive with all our gear to the airport.

Clean Mercedes Benz shuttle, with friendly drivers and the cheapest rates I could find compared to every other airport shuttle service! I will use them every time! Cheap and amazing! And I definitely recommend Lori, great customer service!
