Big O Tires and Service Centers

Went here for a tire rotation and was going to get a oil change while I was here as well. Had a coupon for $ 14.95 early bird from their website. Ryan said my car «required» semi synthetic oil, which is weird because I’ve been to at least a half of dozen other places in the past and no one has ever said that to me. Up sell maybe? He was going to give me me it for $ 25 since I had a coupon, but then the invoice came out to $ 34, where does the extra $ 9 come from? No thanks, I’ll take my business elsewhere. Went to a place down the street from my house, got a semi synthetic oil change for $ 19 and had me out in under 30 mins, score!

Mike was of extreme help to me today at Big O Tires on E Warner, Phoenix. Great guy with a positive attitude! He helped get all the fixings I needed on my ride and all in a quick turn around time. With as busy a day as I usually have, I was pleased at how quickly I was able to get back on the road and onto the next job. Many thanks!

Terrible service, have brought my car here twice for an oil change and they always put the incorrect amount of oil. Now my car is shaking and got a message on my dashboard that the amount of oil is incorrect, when I brought it to fix it the guy was rude and asked me if I personally checked it… I bring it here for a reason, if I knew how to check or change my oil I wouldn’t pay for it. They call themselves professionals, I rather to pay 20 dollars more and go to a dealership, where I get quality and a better service.

They were courteous and responsive to my needs. Although sometimes the wait can be long, if you talk to them, they work with you. The oil change itself was fast and they made the experience painless.

I found them on the Save Local Now app & they had a great deal for an oil change. I was in & out in less than an hour on a Friday which was surprising. They pointed out a couple things that need to be addressed but weren’t pushy about doing it right then. (& they weren’t bs fixes like I have been told at other big name places) No complaints, I’ll definitely be back!

I walked in without an appointment. I came in for a mileage based suggested oil change and my car was in the air within 15 minutes. Again, i used my supersaver card so full synthetic oil change under $ 40 plus free tire rotation included. I am now sitting in the waiting room watching tv and sipping on coffee. I never dread coming here like I used to dread getting car service. Thanks Guys.

Tried several shops in the area before I finally found this BigOTire location as my go to repair shop. Fast and friendly service, as well as an honest manager that won’t try to tack on extra charges and labor costs. Important for those like me on a family budget.

What a Awesome shop. I came in here after putting in a 12 hr day. And I was able to getting taken care of pretty fast. The customer service here was great. If you live in this area, please stop in a see these guys.

I can’t believe I haven’t written a Unilocal review on this place yet.
First off, I have been coming here since 2005 and I’ve never had a bad experience. I moved for 3 years for work but when i came back they remembered me. I felt special. They have saved my car multiple times. They have helped me from flat tires to weird noises in my engine. They have always worked with me on prices because I can’t afford much. They don’t try to get extra money from me like other shops. I trust them and will never go anywhere else.

I would rate this place lower than 1 star, but it doesn’t give that option. They wouldn’t do what a gas station would do. I went in to have a set of tires moved from one set of wheels onto another set. They said it would be 80 bucks, which is a bit steep, but I agreed. I waited almost 30 mins until they told me they couldn’t do it because the lift couldn’t fit under the car and they couldn’t make it fit due to some insurance policy. It’s fine since i didn’t want to pay their inflated prices anyways. I had Discount Tire do it faster with no problems and cheaper as well. Avoid Big O Tires like the plague.

Well, Unilocal — Is it NOT relevant that I paid for TWO RADIATORS THAT FAILED? That’s what the update is for right??? I’ve now paid for 3 radiators. So, it IS relevant since their replacement failed last weekend!
Whoopiee!!! The radiator they replaced after the 1^st one failed, lasted… wait for it… waaaiiittt…24 months this time!!! Fuck you Big O Assholes. NAPA radiator = LIFETIME WARRANTY!!!

You know what, Big O? A lot of us are small business persons, and every dollar counts for us. You really are thieves.

Russell & Ryan always take great care of me and my vehicles. I shopped around for tires for my truck and let Russell know what I had found, he was able to find and replace my tires with the same ones that I previously had purchased from Big O Tires almost 60,000 miles ago… Mesa AP’s. His price was better than any other quote that I had received. Initially I had an issue taking my 2 vehicles to this location years ago. They said they had changed my oil and done an inspection, yet they neglected to put the window stickers in either vehicle. The experience was lack luster and left me feeling that they were not customer service friendly and competent. I emailed the corporate office and Russell got right back in touch with me. He went above and beyond in addressing and fixing the situation. It’s because of Russell that I continue to give my business to Big O Tires. Check them out before going anywhere else first.

Always great to come here. Helpful and knowledgeable. Only lack a tv in the waiting room. Their techs are good and take the time to explain everything. It is good working with them on my truck!

Very impressed with the friendly employees. I made an appointment for Saturday for a tire rotation. They got me in and out and no charge. they just ask that I buy tires in the future from them. I will definitely consider them for future tires.

Great service with these guys! Made an appointment, was told the ETA, sat in the nice, clean waiting area with football to keep me entertained. Took care of my oil change with my ‘free’ coupon, I didn’t need a tire rotation since I just got it done a few weeks ago, but they checked the tread, cleaned the rims, waxed the tires, etc. Definitely more than I expected to get with just a free oil change coupon. The guy came out to my car with me to inspect another thing I had a question about and found out they had addressed it without me even having to ask. Totes recommend them– finished the job in less time than I was told, nice guys, professional service.

Was surprised how different each branch of ‘Big O Tires’ are, from one another.
I called the branch in Maricopa and asked how much an alignment would cost for my car. I told them in detail that my car was lowered on lowering springs and that I wasn’t using any sleeves. What the guy on the phone told me was ((It’s going to cost $ 99 dollars since it’s a «specialty alignment“and that’s not including tax.)). He continued on by saying it’s a 1 time alignment, so on and so forth. So I merely said «ok».
Later on that day, I thought i’d give a different branch a try and see what they’d have to say.
So I called this shop. To my surprise, Michael told me it was going to be $ 79. At that point already, I was dumbfounded. So to make sure I was hearing it right, I told him the same thing I did at the other branch
Me: Would it cost more for me, because my car is lowered on lowering springs?
Michael: Uhhm, no. Not really. If it’s not that lowered, it shouldn’t be a problem.
I ended up going here with a coupon that I bought from Unilocal.Since I wanted to get my oil changed as well.
As I got there, the first thing that caught my eye, was a nice looking Honda Civic. I told myself «Wow! If they have this clean Honda Civic, then they probably know what they’re doing». Apparently the owner of the car, worked there. Which was even better.
Not only are the people that worked here, super friendly. They’re accommodating too. Seriously, no matter how many questions I asked, they responded back and initiated a conversation.
They took care of their customers accordingly, there was 2 other people that came before me, and they seemed like they’ve been coming back here for ages. It felt as though Big O Tires was already a part of their family. And it’s justified too, they don’t treat you like another $$$ sign, they treat you like a friend.
They don’t over complicate things, to a point you don’t understand what they’re fixing or what they’re asking you to buy. They show you, and even teach you what it is they’re doing and what it is you need.
Overall, this was the best experience I ever had with any shop. They don’t try to hide anything, are honest and fair.
I’ll probably be getting all my work done here from here on out. And that’s because the alignment job they did was great. My car doesn’t pull hard to the left anymore, and i’m finally driving straight. You get a top-​notch service, for a more than fair price. They also helped me get rid of my stuck silencer on the exhaust at no extra charge.
I honestly would recommend this shop to anyone I know, and to all of those who have read this.
