Express Oil Change and Service Center

Drove from Los Angeles for the Rock’n’roll marathon weekend and caught a check engine light.
Selected this place because of the good Unilocal reviews. Asked for an oil change at first and they quickly checked the car for the error code when I pointed out the service engine light.
Came back as insufficient air flow, so they recommended a fuel injector cleaner treatment in the hopes of clearing the code. Though it «might not» do it, it was the first level treatment.
Also an engine torque strut was broken and had to be replaced.
So total ran me just a shade under $ 400 for taking the car in.
But they were fast, straightforward with their recommendations and pricing, and showed me the broken part and the new replacement (since it was pretty pricey).
Nobody is thrilled with taking their car in for service, especially when there’s a significant price tag. But I feel I was treated fairly, and the service I received was needed.

I bought a groupon for an oil change based on the reviews i saw on here. These guys are amazing. Everyone is so friendly and the get you in and out so fast. Jaime the assistant manager and derek were friendly, fast and efficient. The check everything, and recommend what needs to be done, but there is no hard sell. I highly recommend this place for all your auto maintenance. I will definitely go back to them!

I absolutely love it here. I have gotten my oil changed twice at this location already and I have NEVER had a bad experience. They are not pushy on getting services done and all the guys are so friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
I happened to stop in for my last oil change on ladies night (Tuesdays) I got $ 5 off of my oil change and I was also given some chocolate kisses. Anthony, Aaron and Matthew helped me and they were just great.
I highly recommend this place and the fact that is just down the street from were I work is a huge plus.

I just returned after my visit to Express Oil Change in Tempe, AZ. I have to say I’m majorly disappointed in the experience. I used their online appointment setting function to schedule an oil change and transmission service stating that I have a 2010 Nissan Murano which requires the proper fluid for an eCVT transmission.
First, the good: I was greeted promptly and the service started quickly. I waited in the super clean lobby which had coffee & DirecTV.
It then went downhill: after waiting for 25 minutes the service man came in to say my tires were worn down to nothing. This took me by surprise as I just had them inspected and rotated yesterday at Discount Tire. I dismissed his recommendation on the tires. He then said he could do a brake inspection and service. I dismissed this offer and the service man left. After almost an hour a different service man came in to state that since my vehicle had an eCVT transmission they had to special order the correct fluid which would take 30 – 60 minutes to arrive. At that point the manager, Bryan Lee, approached me. I asked if they saw the instructions on the appointment and they said they missed them. Since I had to return to work I could not wait the additional time for this service.
On the upside: Bryan offered to drive me back and leave the vehicle with them but that was not a satisfactory solution.
I’m very disappointed not to be able to have the work done that I had scheduled and now have to commit more time. I’m surprised to see such a new location miss out on winning a new customer.
Oh yeah… The «Full Service Oil Change» cost me 1 hour 20 minutes of my time and $ 45.38 of my hard earned money.

This was the best oil change I ever got. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Great service. Nick and Aaron were outstanding. They explained everything and were very nice. I will continue to come here for all my oil changes. Great job guys!!!

Being that I just moved to AZ and no mechanic I was afraid to go to any place. I came here due to Unilocal reviews and it was the best decision ever! Staff very friendly and they were really fast! I will be a loyal customer!

Fast and friendly! Worth the couple extra bucks for an oil change in order to be in and out in 20 minutes! Will definitely be back!
