Anthony has been doing chest and Brazilian waxes for me for the past two years and has always done a great job. As a straight guy getting a Brazilian I was uncomfortable at first – he lets (in fact needs) guys to help to do it well, and it makes the process more comfortable all around. Plus, you get the wax you want!
I highly recommend him. Have been to other waxing spas in town and he is the best I have had.
Couldn’t recommend him more highly!

I needed a last minute bikini wax on a summer holiday weekend. The woman who answered the phone was polite and cheerful, and had a few appointments open. My bus was running a few minutes late the day of my appointment, but they were very welcoming when I arrived. Anthony did my wax, and was very accommodating of my fear (my last bikini was not a pleasant experience, including open wounds). He was quick, and while it wasn’t painless, it was nowhere near the horror experience of my first bikini wax. To top it all off, their bikini wax prices are lower than just about every other salon in the city. I will go back to Anthony for any waxing I need!

Decided to give this place a shot due to the high ratings. Unfortunately, my experience with this salon was not what I expected it to be based on the ratings. My review is specifically for the microdermabrasion facial. This was by far the worst microdermabrasion experience. Prior to the treatment, there no was no consultation involved. I was simply asked, «well what’s wrong with my skin.» Usually, there is some conversation followed by recommendations to let me know exactly what will be done… however, this was not the case here. During the micro process, there was a bunch of «sand-​like» particles falling in face, going into my nose and practically into my ear. I have never experienced this with any of the microderm treatments in the past… when the process was over, I still had the a bunch of the sand like particle left on my face and even a ton in my ears. I left feeling very «unclean.» Not to mention, I really needed the extRaction process done on my skin and all I got was a pinch here and there. It felt like nothing was done to skin except a dust and sand blown into it. In addition, my face looked worse than it did prior to the treatment. I am very disappointed with the overall experience and results. Oh, and the price was also misleading ( Unilocal checkin)…you really do get what you pay for (will be returning to my original spa and just pay the double price since the quality of service is much much better)…will not be returning here.

I came in about an hour early and he took me about a half hour before my actual appointment time which was nice
I like the fact that Anthony gives you a pillow to lay on and a pillow to hold because I hate not knowing what to do with my hands and it came in handy for the especially for the more painful parts. It was a comfortable room with the table in the middle opposed to some places that have it next to the wall so your leg is always banging against it. Most other places offer wipes to you while you’re stripping down just to freshen up but not here although he did have wipes so I’m sure it could be requested. (He cleaned it for you anyway) and he got right to it, no small talk or anything but eventually you get use to he pace he goes at. He actually does your whole butt crack opposed to other places that just do a couple inches. At first I liked the fact that I could just lay there unlike other places that have you stretch the skin and hold up parts of your body but after seeing the missed spots I guess I wouldn’t have minded as long as the job got done. Most places I’ve been to will tweeze this little hairs but not here. I bled a little in a sensitive area and he game me a wipe to put in my underwear which was nice and considerate. I was in and out in like 30 minutes and was extremely happy based on how it all felt and just the interaction with the staff.
But when I got home and really looked the entire bottom of one of my inner lips is still hairy and covered in wax and other spots of the inner and outer lip still had enough hair that I don’t really understand how it was missed. It was only $ 30 which is cheaper than most but if I go through the pain I expect it to be worth it and not have to go back and shave essentially half of what was supposed to be gone.
I’ve been trying to find a good Brazilian wax place in philly and had high hopes here because it is an amazing price and had great reviews but I don’t think I’ll be returning based on the incomplete job. I had better results at the naked peach where they use a mix of hard and soft wax.

Can’t beat the price– can’t beat the speed. Incredibly quick. Minimally painful. You can actually afford to keep up with these prices and how quickly it is! FINALLY.

My skin gets really dry and peel-​y so I’ve gone for two microdermabrasion facials in the past two months and loved the outcome both times! Anthony is amazing and a true professional! The price is incredibly reasonable for the service and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Without a doubt, I can 1000% recommend Anthony for your waxing needs. The studio is spotless, the procedure was flawless and impeccable (and I have VERY high standards — I’ve only gone to the best places in NYC or Europe in the past). It is great to finally have a resource like this a few blocks from home. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.

I just realized… I’ve been going to see Anthony for years! And it’s because we’re on the same page. Who would like someone who is so nice, so efficient, and so great with pricing! So far I’ve only gotten Brazilians but they’ve all been great experiences. The music is pretty zen, which is JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ordered for those non-​zen moments when gruesome hair is being ripped from places where sun doesn’t shine… as much as it should. You’re in and out in 15 minutes or less and the great cost of $ 30-​$ 35 can ensure a periodic return the keep things well maintained.
I’m moving to New York soon and I’m sure I won’t find another place as great as o2 Skincare Lounge!

I visited this salon for a Brazilian wax earlier this week. The room was very clean and it was a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was excellent and I will most certainly return to this location.

I get my back waxed about once a month by Anthony at the behest of my bf, who has to look at it. I tried Anthony based on his Unilocal reviews and have been very pleased overall with his services.
Pros:
— extremely fast and punctual — if your appointment is for 12, you’ll be in and out by 12:15 (and probably have overpaid for parking).
— Price is $ 15-​$ 20 lower than other salons I have checked (but, at $ 42 for a back wax, still expensive for what is essentially a 10 – 15 minute job (I’m in the wrong business))
— Clean, comfortable environment
— Pleasant, friendly demeanor
Cons:
— He misses spots sometimes. Of course I don’t notice until my bf points them out a day or two after, so I haven’t gone back to have him fix it. I try to look in the mirror before I leave but obviously it’s hard to get a close view.
I’ve considered trying some of the local nail and waxing salons in South Philly where I live but I don’t trust their quality or hygiene, especially since most of them have no reviews on here.
So, for a reputable provider, Anthony is your best bet.

Anthony is absolutely amazing! I will only go to him for my waxes and I am always so impressed with his professionalism and skill. Not only does he provide quality services but the price cannot be beat. 35 for a Brazilian — awesome! He also is super efficient and has me in and out within 15 minutes. Seriously cannot be beat.

I finally drummed up the nerve to get a Brazilian wax. Anthony had excellent reviews and I remembered him from when he worked at Blue Mercury years ago.
I submitted my phone number and he contacted me immediately to schedule me on the same day. Then, he had a cancellation and was able to get me in early.
Anthony made this experience quick and kept me so entertained, that it was over before I could concentrate on some of the pain! Truly a professional who knows what he’s doing!
I’ve already scheduled a facial for next week :)

I moved to Philly from Texas 16 months ago. In Texas, where swimsuit season is 12 months long, waxes are not optional; I quickly discovered that, apparently, they are in Philly because it was impossible to find a good one. After baring my goods all over Rittenhouse (and twice in the suburbs), I found Anthony through a random Google search. YOU GUYS. I can’t even. He’s quick, painless and the consummate professional. And the price? Forget about it. Don’t go anywhere else in the entire tri-​state area for your waxes. Just don’t.

I’ve had facials, eyebrow tinting/​waxing and bikini waxes with Anthony. I love him, I won’t go anywhere else. He is courteous, professional, reasonable and fabulous. I literally found him with google and have been going to him for a few years. Totally recommend!

I have super sensitive skin and I am very selective with who treats my skin. Skin care lounge is luxury quality with out the price tag. Who doesn’t love that?!
Anthony is professional and focused on his craft. He takes care of my skin as if I was a goddess! I get the microdermabrasion facial every few months. He knows what he’s doing! Thank you & bless you Anthony

I just had a Brazilian here with Anthony. The whole thing from the time I walked in until the time I walked out was 20 minutes. I did this on my lunch break and still had time to go eat lunch. What a sweet guy he is too and he made me feel very comfortable. I tend to have a high threshold for pain, but this by far was the least pain I’ve experienced during a brazilian. $ 30? Whaaaat? I’ll definitely be coming here regularly and I’m so happy to have found an amazing place that is so conveniently located for me.

This is my go-​to spot for brazilians. Anthony is wonderful. He takes good care of his customers and he does such a thorough job for such a great price. I always walk out satisfied! I am usually in and out in 15 mins. I highly recommend!

I’m going to have to echo Katie b word for word. You just can’t beat the price. Plus Anthony is very courteous and friendly. I accidentally walked out of the salon without paying (don’t ask my mind was elsewhere). When I got home I realized and was horrified. Anthony not only left me a surprisingly understanding message but he also totally minimized the situation and let me pay over the phone with no extra charge. If that’s not good service idk what is. NY quality salon on a beggars budget.

I’m sorry Anthony, but after returning for a second Brazilian 2 stars is the best I can give you. The wax took 7 or 8 minutes again, which is astonishing, but the quality was seriously lacking.
I get waxes every 4 weeks or so, so I am an easy client. That being said, I realized the second time at the salon that Anthony books 4 waxes per hour! So while $ 35 seems like a good price, other salons leave 30 – 45 minutes per waxing session and charge around $ 50. So Anthony is, in essence, making $ 70 per Brazilian (or $ 105, depending on the salon. Body Restoration sets aside 45 minutes for a full Brazilian, fyi). For me, 15 minutes is enough. But what about a first-​timer or someone who hasn’t been in a while? How can they be waxed in 15 minutes? Man, do I feel their pain (pun intended!).
Also, while my waxes are fairly straight-​forward, Anthony does them so quickly that he misses large portions of hair. If I were getting a regular bikini wax it would be fine, since it’s really just a few pulls on each side, but a Brazilian means EVERYTHING should be removed. I don’t want broken hairs at the root that grow back in two days or missed hairs that are so obvious I have to go home and fix them before wearing a bathing suit.
Another, albeit small, gripe: I checked in on my phone and got a coupon for 50% off a wax, which I showed to the receptionist when I was paying. She told me the $ 35 was that promotional rate, but I happen to know that $ 35 is 30% off. I do believe I should have been charged 50% off, as the check-​in offer said, or $ 25. Not a huge deal but definitely added to the bad overall experience.
On top of that, the credit card machine was broken. Sort of lame for a salon doing high-​priced business, especially when the ATM conveniently located outside the doorway charges a high fee. They couldn’t waive the fee while their machine was broken? Disappointing. I realize this isn’t Anthony’s fault at all, and didn’t change the rating because of it, but it was definitely an annoyance.
In the end, I will not be back for a third wax unless my bank account is seriously depleted. Bring back the $ 15 training waxes Body Restoration! I miss you so much you don’t even know.
