I love this place! Im in charge of scheduling my company dinners a couple times a year and i try to always schedule it here. The owners and employees /servers are great! We always have a great time and we love the darkened vibe. Pizza in Petaluma? Brit it is! for sure!

My wife and I had a great time at dinner tonight. The food was perfect and the wait staff was very attentive.

Pizza was tasty, garlic cheese bread was great, and the Stella Artois was cold! It doesn’t get any better than that. We came in off the street and didn’t realize it was a reservations type of place, but they were kind enough to seat us as they had an open table.

Excellent thin crust pizza in a place with super cool atmosphere. Great drinks as well, with hurricanes«on tap.» Both the cheesy garlic bread and baked formaggio appetizers are excellent. As far as the pizza goes, the Sweet Heater is our favorite(we get it every time we go). Also good is the NorCal, the 4th Rock from the Sun, and the Buffalo Chicken, although I’m pretty sure you can’t go wrong with any of their options.

We went on a crowded Friday evening, around 6:30PM, and were relieved there was a table available. I recommend getting a reservation! It was a table for two, upstairs, but it was rather small. The restaurant was very very noisy; we had to yell to have a conversation. It was also dimly lit and I was sorry that I hadn’t brought my reading glasses! I had a hard time reading the menu. The pizzas were very tasty but a little too much charcoal on the bottom for my taste. For two people we ordered two 12– inch pizzas. We had plenty of leftovers! The pizzas had lots and lots of garlic, so if you don’t like garlic you might ask them to leave that off. The server was very pleasant. She brought an extra table over so that there would be room on which to place the pizzas. Overall it was a nice restaurant, but too loud for conversation.

I had the shrimp in olive oil. They were overcooked. The sauce was great, I sent them back and they were slightly better, but not right. I ate them and didnt say anything so my wife would not be embarrassed. I may go back to try the pizza, but not sure, since I have some fave pizza spots already & I love garlicky shrimp dishes & that’s what I want to get

I love love love Brixx! And I love pizza so maybe that’s why! It’s a cool, dark, family-owned, 2 level bar and restaurant in downtown Petaluma. Located in a historic building there is plenty of parking. Monday nights — pizza and a bottle of wine special — whooo hooo, but it’s busy, and rightly so. It’s down to earth, the food rocks(NFG is my fave, no meat!) and has a nice little bar with locals — feel free to go in alone, they will welcome you!

I like the $ 20 Monday deal. It’s a decent deal for the price. I don’t love their pizza — I’d much rather pay a bit more and go to Rosso, Old Chicago, or Central Market. Some of the choices are creative, although the execution on the actual pizza could be better, and we had a couple pizzas that were super soggy in the middle and thin crust pizza should never ever be soggy like this — I will attribute it to being Monday, a bit busy and they pulled them out too soon, but it’s happened on more than one Monday. sadface. I like the wine list. The salads are good. I’m not so hip to how dark it is. I’d like to see my food when I’m eating it, and not feel like I’m stuck in a cave. Also not a fan of the loud music. If I’m yelling to my food server the way I would a bartender in a night club it’s off putting. The service was fine, once she was able to hear our order.

Went here last Friday with Miss Red. Good times with the lady for sure. A William Tell to start, nice salad. Arugula, apples(split w an arrow no doubt!), candied walnuts, and nice thick cut pieces of bacon in there w some Gorgonzola cheese. Say yes. A glass of nice cold Rosato with that and it’s in gear. 4th Rock from the Sun Pizza to go with that, nice and served on an elevated tray. Service very good, covered all the bases. Location is pretty cool, kinda hidden away off the street in this corridor between buildings. A pizza Oasis. Bit loud so sit close to your date if you can. That’s generally recommended anywhere but here for sure!

This places has a solid bar and even better pizza. My absolute fav is their sweetheater, I get it without fail every time but have never been disappointed. My fellow guests have branched out and I have tried most all of their other offerings(all good) just nothing to tempt me away from my first love.

If any place deserves a sixth star its Brixx. Still my favorite place to grab drinks and awesome pizza. Service has been incredible and they really go out of their way(even when swamped) to make you comfortable. They have a large selection of specialty pizzas, and when we bring family in they love the diverse selection. They still approve of my favorite(Doloroso — spicy pepperoni, purple onion, fresh jalapeño, garlic & mozzarella). If you are a salad person the William Tell and Beet salad are great too.

Their drink prices and service were excellent but the pizza and apps were pretty bad. I’d come back for happy hour beers, but would go just about anywhere else for pizza. If you value well made crust and balanced toppings, go somewhere else.

Wonderful pizza! Rated 4 stars due to the extremely loud music from the stage(I guess I’m getting older).

Came here coming back from a beach day with my bestie Jessica. The food is soooo good! We got a Caesar salad with the garlic prawns to start. Soon as that came out pizzas were at the table. I got the speziato gambero(spicy shrimp, pesto, roasted red peppers, smoked gouda & mozzarella) very good! Jessica got the sweet heater(chicken breast, bacon, diced jalapeño, smoked gouda, cilantro & bbq sauce) also very tasty. The atmosphere is very layer back but they have a full bar with beer and wine list. Not to expensive and the drink was perfect!

I am a big fan of this place. Although I have only been here a few times, I’ve always enjoyed the food and drinks! The first time I was brought here I did not even know this place existed, it is a small hole in the wall location that one could walk by if you did not know where to look. The atmosphere is small, intimate but very warm and a fun place to be. The pizza itself is handmade and absolutely delicious. Like most restaurants what I found the most interesting is they have seasonal or speciality pizza depending on the occasion or time of year. Several times my guy and I have brought friends(and even a work friend of his) to this place and left with everyone feeling satisfied and happy. If you are a pizza lover then I highly recommend Brixx as a place to go!

My brother & his new wife held their rehearsal dinner at Brixx. It was a nice evening, but I only feel like it warrants three stars for a few reasons: 1 — the place was packed. It was Friday night. We had the whole upstairs for our event and still the restaurant only had 3 servers on for the whole restaurant. 2 — because of that service was slow and spotty. Good when it happened, but the servers seemed really rushed and it took 3 passes of a waitress for me to get her to pause long enough to put in a drink order. The 2 servers who took turns helping our party were very friendly, but clearly were just spread too thin. 3 — mystery chilies. Pizzas that weren’t described as spicy, or which were to only have bell peppers, seemed to each get a mystery chili pepper or 2. This cause at least 2 guests in our huge group pain. And these are people who like spicy stuff, but the spicy peppers from Hell weren’t well-received. Basically, they just didn’t handle a big group well. However, the little bit of pizza I did get(not much choice as they didn’t bring any milder pizzas to our end of the table) were nice. The starters were super tasty as well.

So the primary bartender, Ian, is no longer with Brixx, but the experience remains excellent. I am here once a week and have made my way through most of the items on the menu. The pizza and salads are consistently excellent and the bartenders and still crafting great cocktails. The owners, husband and wife, are always around assisting their staff with tending the bar and bringing out food. Sometimes it gets crowded but the wait staff do an excellent job accommodating the best that they can.

The pizza here is very flavorful with excellet topping pairings. We ordered two different pizzas to share between three adults. One of them had sausage, roasted red peppers. Goat cheese, and red onion. There was a red sauce and mozzarella cheesse. The second pizza had chicken, bbq sauce, bacon, mozzarella, diced jalapenos appropriately named Sweet Heat. The dough for the pizza was ok. The crust itseif was kind of flavor less, but with the toppings made it yummy. The spicey pizza had a nce kick to it but they did not spread the peppers did not get sread very well. The Sweet Heat was a nice blend btween the flavors. The same was said of the first pizza was fantastic feel on your tongue with the juicey sausage with the creamy goat cheese. The dinner left us very full. The staff is VERY pleasant. I would definitely go again.

This is a great place to go grab a drink. They have a good selection and the atmosphere inside was really nice as was the service. It smells so good from the outside and I really wanted to like Brixx, but I wasn’t a fan of my pizza. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing? I had the fun guy, which is mushrooms and caramelized onions — 2 of my favorite things, but I felt like the pizza was seriously lacking in flavor. The doloroso had more flavor, but even then it was mainly just a pepperoni flavor and I couldn’t really taste the rest of the ingredients. I do like how thin they make their crust, its my type of crunch, so I’m hoping i just ordered the wrong thing. I will definitely go back to give them another shot.

I’d like to start off this review by saying this is a place to stay away from… but that would be wrong. It would be VERY wrong to keep this place all for myself. I had dinner the other night with two buddies who love this place. I now love it too. The staff, the restaurant style, and the food were all fantastic! We sat up at the bar and were completely taken care of by Noël who happens to be the owner too. He was attentive to the three of us and still took care of all the other patrons. This place gave me a nice family feel with the staff just being your extended family. They had a large wedding reception come in for dinner that were having a great time upstairs. Honestly that added to the family feel. Lots of people talking, laughing, eating, and drinking tells you they’re doing something right. They have a full bar for any drink you desire. But, I was on a wine kick that night and Noël directed me to a fantastic wine they have called Cannonball Chardonnay 2010. Don’t worry about the name it’s a great wine. Besides, does Sonoma County ever make bad wine? Solid work Noël! The three of us first had Caesar salad with anchovies. I wasn’t thinking quick enough to go for Steve’s unwanted anchovies… Epic fail! I will not make the same mistake! The salad was great with the right amount of dressing. They didn’t dump the bottle of dressing on it. Hate when that happens. My guys recommended getting personal pizza’s. I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza which was great! My personal touch next time will be to add garlic. Mmm mouth commence watering. Overall I’d have to say it was a home run and I can’t wait to go back when I’m in the area. Try it out you won’t be disappointed.
