Heebe Jeebe General Store

I really like this store! I’ve been coming here since I was little, and last time I was here I bought a «blind box» kind of thing where you get a little box with a random toy in it. It was from a company called «kidrobot», and I am absolutely in love with it! I opened the box and I got a cute yet creepy figurine, which is completely my style. I hope they get more of these kidrobot «dunny» things more often… Love love love this place!!!

Martha owns this store. She is the hip wife of long time legendary ILM set designer who’s work can be seen gracing the top shelfs. One such offering from this genius is his personal tribute to Jerry Garcia. It is done in metal and has glasses are fashioned by some very skilled hands. Spot on. It’s the Mona Lisa of Petaluma. I’ll post a photo next time I visit. And if vibrant oilcloth next to hand buzzers is your thing do give Martha your trade.
But I love the personal tribute to Grateful Dead.

Funky and fun! I recently found out that they sell oil cloth. :) I always find fun gifts and cards here. There is also a small art gallery space to view local art. The staff are friendly here, and enjoy talking to customers. A really fun local shop!

Heebe Jeebe’s got a lot of cool little knick-​knacks strewn about. You’ve got candy, nerd paraphernalia (especially Doctor Who), a rocking horse outside, and even a photo booth!
There’s nothing here worth making a dedicated trip over, but it’s fun to just browse around and stumble across something cool.

We love this little gem for all things silly, cute and fun! Great little gift shop in the heart of downtown. If you love to browse and have fun you must go to Heebe Jeebe!

Heebe Jeebe is everything the eclectic person could want in a store.
There are so many wonderful, strange, and unusual items in this store that scream for one’s attention that it’s hard to actually describe the stock here. The only way I could describe it fairly is to call it a mishmash of gasp-​worthy accoutrements that will make your eyes bleed and your heart sing with joy (all at the same time).
While I was in there, a man came in and asked if he could try on a giant rubber unicorn head. He was really weighing out whether it would work for him or not. Being that I’m a minivan mom with a taste for the bizarre, I don’t find such things bizarre or unusual. It was as normal as the mornin’ dew to me. It was as though he was trying on a silk tie for all I knew. He ended up leaving but said he had to mull it over some more.
They had a wonderful art display in the back area of found art that I found quite interesting. I wish I had a few hundred bucks to burn on such things, but I don’t.
As another reviewer mentioned, they have oilcloth. I love the bright cheerfulness and the vintage vibe of it. There are quite a few things that have this sort of quirky timeless vibe that’s so goody-​good for you that it’s almost dark.
They also have muertos statuettes and imported Japanese novelties. I bought $ 20 worth of fun and was on my way in no time.
It’s like Petaluma’s own Archie McPhee (Seattle, WA) store. Absolutely fabulous.

I love visiting this place. Everything is very unique and the staff is very friendly. If you ever have any questions they’re always helpful. If you’re looking for a cool gift or just something for yourself they’ve got a huge variety of just about everything from home décor, clothing and scarves, cute kids items and toys. Definitely check out this store if you’re ever in Petaluma =)

Love this shop. Locally owned, and the staff has never been anything other than super friendly.
Cool photo booth, all kinds of fun gifts, and prices are fair. Oh, and best of all, they sell Bacon Ornaments. That is right, Christmas tree ornaments in the shape of Bacon. Drop what you are doing, and get some.

I went there to buy the new design Giants t-​shirt. MSRP is $ 20.00, but the wonderful greedy merchants at this store are selling it for $ 28! They don’t even know how to spell the words: «customer service.» That’s OK I only get burnt once, so I will not shop this place again. Plus I have never seen so much plastic junk in my entire life. I can always find exactly what I need and never knew I wanted here! Plus they have the best customer service a general store could ever offer! Check out the photobooth too!

Holy bleep, it’s just freaking fabulous. And, the most perfect store for super special (and unique) gifts!

Neat place, I want to shop here, however, every single thing I have bought here has broken in two days or less. One good note, they have a good return policy :-/
If you are going to pride yourself as a small business I would suggest you stock some quality products…

A Petaluma treasure. Great place to find gifts for people of any age. Fun stuff for inside the home, clothing, jewelry, cards, and party supplies. Candy (the good stuff), locally and handmade items, and real toys (not plastic Toy’s-R-Us junk.) Make sure to hit the photobooth and take the kids for a ride on Champion.

This is really one of the greatest stores I’ve ever been in. Everything they sell seems original, creative, and as good a gift as any for even those you know that seem to have everything. Most of the items have a great sense of humor and style that seem like they’d never be dated. The clerk was very nice, playing good music, and wasn’t overly attentive. They even had an area in the back that acted as a mini gallery for an artist whose work was very cool and very well priced.
Petaluma is right off the 101 and I recommend stopping by this store, even if you just stock up on the best greeting cards you could ever give, as they have a ton of amazing ones.

Although we all decided we were too big to ride Champion (the mechanized horse in front of the store (see my pix) we did share sweet childhood memories of riding «cousins» of champions in those carefree days of yesteryear. Talk about Cheap Thrills — -those 25 cent rides bring back million dollar memories.
If you’re looking for retro candy (Necco wafers, chocolate or gum cigarettes, abba zabba, razzles, pop rocks, etc). Day of the Dead stuff,
bead curtains (about 12 different types); Hello Kitty bandaids; and countless other items you didn’t know you needed – this is your store.
We all crunched into the photo booth and had a strip of b&w photos taken.
Very entertaining and embarrassing – how is it possible for the four of us all to be so non-​glamorous in all 4 shots?
Each of us found things we liked. My score was a box of cards that tell you how to swear in 8 different languages! I’ve always wanted to expand my swearing repertoire!
Oh and the staff is nice too!

A fantastic place!
It’s a beautiful store, jammed packed with fun. They host art shows there as well as Boomerang Gallery. So much fun stuff under one roof. Staff is a pleasure, professional, and awesome. The store has become a Petaluma staple. If you come to town to visit, stop by. You will not be sorry.

They even have Champion, the coin operated wild west pony for the kids out front.
Stop on in, you might just find that unexpected something which makes your life complete. And if not, it still is a super fun store to check out anyhow.

This store is just plain fun.
Where do they find all of these unique items? Anyway it is a store of the unusual. From toys to books to candy. They offer all kinds of hard to find items that are trendy and entertaining.
A great place to stop in when you have free time to explore the store. You can really look around for a long time and not see everything. The prices are fair for most things high for other things but they are mostly things you just won’t find at other places so you have to factor that in.
