Still Waters Day & Medical Spa

The Still Waters Day & Medical Spa was amazing. My wife took me here for our anniversary for a full body massage and a pedicure (yes, I know). While I have had massages at other times in my life I was not ready for the level of pampering they provided us. We changed into the robes and waited in a tranquility room for our appointed time. One wall is dominated by a translucent waterfall that is stupendous. They took us into the room for the massage which is very high tech (I really do appreciate this side of their business). My masseuse was borderline miraculous. After this, we once again returned to the tranquility room to relax before our pedicures. As it turns out, I had the assistant manager as my technician for the pedicure because they were shorthanded. Don’t get me wrong, there were no unreasonable waits or imperfection in our service. This just shows how well they utilize their resources to maximize guest comfort and the whole experience – my feet feel great. This massage experience is one I plan on repeating.
Be warned however, parking is tight.

From in depth facial services from ARNP Mary Anne, to manicure and pedicures, I always receive the best professional and courteous service available. I am very much looking forward to my next appointment. I recommend Still Waters very highly.

This spa is a great place to get a massage. Great massage by David! However, the business does not have a good practice when it comes to their customer service experience and promotions. I asked the person at the front desk if their were any specials and promotions and she told me no. A minute later I found out they had a buy a gift card, get a voucher for the same amount for yourself promo. I went back to the woman and asked about it and she looked shocked that she just got caught lying to me and just kept digging herself into a hole. No apologies, tried to speak with a manager and the manager did not call me back. They said this promo was to attract new customers yet they had ample time to tell me about it when I set up the appointment and did not choose to do so, then when asked directly I was lied to. I’m very disappointed in the employees resistance to making this right. They don’t care about each individual customer. They care about taking your money. $ 100 for a $ 40 minute massage and I was going to go once a month for 6 months like David recommended. I’ll keep my money and spend it elsewhere. Thanks for a wonderful experience and then taking it away immediately after Still Waters. Good luck to you.

2 weeks ago had a Fraxel Duel treatment. The space where the laser treatments is in a building to the right of the main building. There is a nice waiting area. The receptionist was very nice and offered me something to drink. I like the iPad checkin… quick and easy. The treatment room was very comfortable. They applied numbing cream and then had me wait a few minutes while the cream did it’s thing. Then, once my face was numb the treatment began. There are 2 wavelengths with this Fraxel machine, rather than one in the older model. With the Dual, there are 4 passes of the laser over your skin, 2 for each wavelength. The first pass was only slightly painful. The second pass was a bit more painful. Not intolerable… just like a little shock. Once the treatment was over my skin felt tight and it burned a bit, like I had a sunburn. The first few days I was swollen. Then on the 3^rd day I began to peel. The peeling was finished by the 5^th day. The result? FANTASTIC!!! My skin tone is very even and has a nice glow. Fine lines are gone and my skin seems tighter. This is well worth the investment.

I’m sure the services and atmosphere are delightful, but whatever you do make sure you don’t have an emergency on the day of your appointment. I was in a car accident on my way TO my appointment. While waiting for the cops to show up to the accident scene, I called the spa to let them know I wouldn’t make it, You know because I had been hit by another car and all. They proceeded to tell me that they have a 24-​hour cancelation policy (which I fully understand for NON-​emergencies or for those that have missed ppointments) and they still had to charge my card the $ 50 cancellation fee. I worked in the largest salon and spa on the east coast for several years and even they offered a «grace» waiver for emergencies or for first-​time cancellations of clients. Trust me, if I could have known I would have been hit, I would have gladly rescheduled my appointment for a day that I wasn’t going to be in a car accident.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my experience here. You are given a nice robe and some sandals to change into then allowed to relax beforehand in their relaxation room with dim lights and a nice water wall. Tabetha did am amazing job with my hot stone massage. It was my first one and she was very thorough in explaining what to expect and how the process goes. I wasn’t sure what kind of pressure I wanted but she told me that she would go according to what she felt I needed, and it was perfect! Afterwards, she offered me a mimosa with some water and told me to take my time in the relaxation room until I was ready to get dressed and head out. Every person that I had an interaction with at this spa was very friendly and eager to help. I will definitely visit again!

A Valentines day BUST! Scheduled a «Couples» massage for the special day Feb 14, 2015 (well in advance– Jan) …arrived and everything seemed perfect UNTIL they took us to separate rooms. We both decided to relax and enjoy the experience anyway and at least hoping for an apology or something from the lady/​manager at the register. Basically, instead all we received was (as she looks at the computer the whole time not making eye contact) «well the notes in the computer say you stated it was ok to be in separate rooms… REALLY…by the pure definition on the word «Couples» massage one would never assume you could create this mess up! Really!!! And then blame me… BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!!
This is not our first couples massage there as we are repeat customers BUT it will be our last.
There were so many other options for this day and we chose you… the massage was wonderful and we still tipped but the end of it all changed the whole experience.
If you chose to use them for your next special event– verify what is typed into the computer before you arrive… so sad!
Suggestions would be to get some personality behind the counter where your paying customers pay (and tip)!

Extremely disappointed about their «appointment policy», which consists of providing them your Credit Card number over the phone in order for you to schedule/​keep an appointment. I’ve never heard of this «policy». Credit Card information is sensitive and should not be provided in such a gratuitous manner.

Wendy is the best ever! I highly recommend her facial/​massage! WOW! The best I have ever had! My husband bought a gift certificate for me and it was such a great gift because of Wendy! Thank you! 5 Stars!

I’ve had nothing but great experiences here! Mary Anne, ARNP is always pleasant and puts your mind at ease. Very knowledgeable about products you should be using. I get more and more compliments on my skin than I ever have before. Overall, I would recommend to anyone looking for advice on skincare and other treatments provided here.

best deep tissue massage ive ever had. only minus is the train coming through. not very relaxing.

My new husband and I had a couple’s massage here during our honeymoon. Just scheduling the appointment was relaxing the lady who answered the phone had such a soothing voice. The place is small but worth every penny. The entire ambience is soothing and relaxing. As you fill out paperwork the staff offers mimosas, water, or tea. You change into very plush robes and wait in the relaxing room until the therapist comes to get you. The massage was absolutely wonderful! I always have tension in my neck and shoulders! Not today! Gone!

I got the full body massage, the gentleman who massaged me asked if I had headaches a lot, I do. So he focused more on my upper body. I told him with my job and all, my lower back is what hurts the most, he said he’ll get to it. He did. Eventually. and it was amazing for about 4minutes haha then the session was over. I would have enjoyed my time there more if he had broken up the time more to actually massage my WHOLE body. I will be back but next time I will be expecting what I’m paying for and I will not hesitate to be more assertive. Service was wonderful, it really was. Pleasant people.

This place was small but nice. They were able to fit my friend and I in for massages at the last minute. My masseuse – I forget her name – listened to my needs and really worked hard on the knots in my back.
Prices were reasonable, plus they offered a glass of champagne after the massage! My only (minor) complaint was the music kept going in and out during my massage.

This Spa was absolutely fantastic! It’s a small little place but it seems they have thought of every detail. Me and My Partner Scheduled a couples massage a week in advance before we came down for our vacation. The Lady I spoke to on the phone was extremely nice and was not rushed to answer any of my questions that I had. Upon entering the Spa the day of our appointment we were greeted with friendly faces. We had to fill out a quick medical information form then we were taken back to the changing area where we were handed two mimosa, a very nice robe and slippers to change into. We then went into the waiting area where they had nice tranquil music playing and a huge water wall. The chairs were very comfortable, lights were low. It was nice to relax and unwind before we got a massage. We were then greeted by both of the people who were giving us our massages. The guy who massaged me asked a lot of questions about my needs and what areas he should focus on. As this was my first massage ever he seemed thrilled that he got to be the person to do it. Throughout the entire massage I was asked if the pressure was OK. He was very lightly spoken which was great because it was very relaxing. They had again the nice music playing, the oils/​lotions they used were really awesome and not greasy. He did a full body massage. He could tell that I was very ticklish on my feet and legs so he went to focus on other areas. He didn’t make a big deal about it. He seemed to be open to anything I had to say and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed as this again was my first time. after the massage we went back to the waiting area where they asked us questions and if everything was OK. They handed us some cucumber water and told us to drink lots of fluids to flush the toxins. They allowed us to take our time and relax back in the waiting area for as long as we liked. When we were back at the front to check out the young lady was VERY friendly. We asked her about places to eat/​coffee shops and she wrote a nice list down for us! HUGE PLUS! I highly recommend this Spa. We will defiantly be back next year on our vacation. It was the perfect thing de-​stress at the beginning of a 7 day vacation.

I went to Still waters for a birthday present and was given the package. From the beginning it was very pleasant and relaxing. The initial massage was decent, but I’ve had better, but I wasn’t expecting deep tissue therapeutic quality. The facial was wonderful, and refreshing, and my face felt like a million bucks after. The manicure and pedicure was lovely, a nice end to the day — punctuated by a lovely, light lunch.
Overall, the experience was pleasant, relaxing and enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed the cucumber water, hot tea and dried fruit snacks between each service.

A great spa getaway! Very relaxing, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Maryanne does amazing age management services!

My husband was kind enough to surprise me with a body massage here to try and get me to relax after our stressful trip to see my family.
My massage lady was incredibly sweet and friendly but I wasn’t really impressed with the massage over all– except for the foot and leg massage. That part was awesome.
I’d probably look elsewhere for something more my style for spa treatments though.

The Massage was really quite good. The setup is very nice — the use of scents while your face down must be a FL thing because I’ve only seen it here — keeps the nose clear. The masseuse knew what she was doing but still needs a little while longer to truly perfect the art. The do try to push products after I was done which I find annoying. The spa area is really nice too the offer tea and snacks at the lounge.
The pedicure. It was my first ever and I’m a guy. Well it was interesting. Not with $ 60 and was supposed to last 60 min but we were done in 45.
