Stay The Spa

Massage with Twanda was AMAZING! I am a massage hound and have had numerous. This by far, I must admit was the best EVER! I’ve had massages locally, during exotic vacations, chiropractor offices and cruise ships. I left this place with not one aching area on my usually aching body. The atmosphere was nice and I plan on being her regular customer… I am happy and relaxed. Check-​in-​staff was very friendly too.

I’m a first timer here and LOVED it! Jennifer and her staff are awesome. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!

I visited Stay the Spa for the first time this week. Great service and very friendly. I received a spray tan with great results. I’ll be going to this spa again for sure!

This spa was a wonderful experience! I had a wonderful facial and pedi! I will be back soon! The owner was so sweet and made sure my experience was what I was expecting! I live in San Diego most of the year, and found it very refreshing to have a spa in Pensacola similar to the ones I go to in So-​cal!

Pleasant staff but not very experienced. I just went for a basic pedicure and the nail tech was more concerned about messing up her own acrylic nails than working on my pedicure. Never had a paint job that didn’t cover my whole toenail, she got more polish on my shoes than my nails and had dead skin hanging from my toe that she didn’t notice without me pointing it out. Over priced at $ 25 for amateur work. I wouldn’t recommend or go back.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Stay, especially given that I called last minute for an appointment. Zoe did my facial and she was experienced and very pleasant to work with. She asked if I wanted some of the extra’s with my facial and she really made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The spa was clean, the staff incredibly nice.
Overall, a really nice experience as an out of towner. I would definitely go back.

I had a lot done at Stay to prepare for my wedding in a couple weeks (waxings, massage, facial). It was the first time I had gone, so I was taking a chance on loving it since I was spending a lot of time and money there, but I had heard good things from a few friends and read their Facebook reviews so I felt pretty confident.
Overall, I had a really nice experience! Jen did my waxings and facials and she was really sweet and efficient. I paid extra for a sensitive skin facial because I have reactions to a lot of products, and I did have a reaction to the mask she put on but she took it right off and tried something else (with an aloe base) that was much better. she even did a little more than I paid for since I was getting married– I definitely appreciated that!
Astrid did my massage and I loved her! My only regret is only getting the 60-​minute instead of 90. I’m not sure she filled up the entire hour and I certainly needed more time with all the stress I’ve been carrying in my shoulders lately…
My one very small upset is that I wasn’t offered a drink (well, I was offered water as soon as I arrived) or anything to numb the pain from the waxing. I waited a few minutes and then had my eyebrows done first before I had the more painful waxings, and it wasn’t until I got in there that Jen said, «Well, sometimes I give my clients a mimosa or numbing cream 15 minutes before I wax to help with the pain and swelling.» I just wish she had mentioned it earlier because I definitely could have used both and I did have time if it had been offered when I arrived.
Other than that very small detail, the facility was beautiful, staff were all very sweet and good at what they did, and I will definitely be back after I am a married woman!
