Although we specialize in many diseases associated with Chinese Medicine, from asthma through tendonitis (sorry, I couldn’t come up with a disease that begins with X, Y, or Z,) the most common reason for an initial visit is because of pain, be it from an internal source or trauma; acute or chronic. The fact is that humans do not tolerate the sensation of pain very well. So why live with it if you don’t have to.

Martin Haines, practices Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in Pasadena, is Board Certified by the State of California as well as having nationally recognized status as a «Diplomate in Oriental Medicine.»

Mr. Haines is affiliated with The California State Oriental Medical Association, The American Acupuncture Council, The National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, as well as The Doctors Speakers Bureau, a non-​profit association that promotes educating the public on the subject of natural medicine that does no harm to the patient. He also is a member of several service organizations including The Pasadena Rotary, The Elks, The Pasadena Tournament of Roses and is on the Professional Advisory Board of The Wellness Community.

Martin’s sole purpose is to optimize the health of as many people as possible utilizing Oriental Medicine and to educate his patients, so that they in turn will educate others in the beauty and efficacy of this ancient medicine.
