been having a little wart on my lips for five months, came to here without an appointment. what I expected was just gonna get a quick description and make an appointment next time, but they actually sent me a dermatologist right away and got rid of it!!! She gave me an ointment and a small bottle of
school insurance has already covered expenses, so I basically walked out with zero cost and had my lips treated

My first visit here and I am very happy with this office. I have the «white coat syndrome» which means anyone with a white coat on-​I stay away from! Rasha Dabbous, PA-​C took care of me. She removed keratosis from my nose. She made me feel very comfortable and safe. The office staff was very friendly, the place is very clean, and I felt taken care of. I was in and out of the office within 45 minutes! I recommend Comprehensive Dermatology Center.

I really like this place because the doctors here are very professional. My review is for dr. Lee who is pretty difficult to get an app with, the wait time is pretty long but she is a great professional. She is thorough when she does your skin check ups. I gave this place 4 stars because I didn’t like their esthetician and the results I got from my facial. I got so many breakouts that I had to see a dermatologist a month after the facial and burn those bumps off. I never get any breakouts, my skin is very dry. I get facials regularly so I don’t know what went wrong with their facialist. Otherwise, if you’re looking for a good dermatologist, this us a great place.

I recently attended an Allergan injection training with Dr. Sara Gaspard at Comprehensive Dermatology. At first, I thought she was a nurse trainer, but I have attended 4 other trainings and no nurse understands anatomy & physiology and product placement like her. She has the soft touch of a nurse but the confidence, knowledge and skill set of a doctor. I would recommend her for all your dermatology and aesthetic needs.

I am writing MY FIRST Unilocal REVIEW and decided to write it on The Comprehensive Dermatology Center. I have been a patient here since 2012. I already had a sense that their staff is not warm and fuzzy. The receptionist and the lady who takes your co-​pay at the end. She doesn’t say thank you, have a nice day to you at all, she doesn’t smile or no eye contact when booking your next appointment.
My visit on Tuesday, 4÷12÷2016 was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
I had a facial done here in February, 2016. Their medical Aesthetician, Sandra recommended a facial/​skin product called REVISION so I purchased it. The cost was roughly $ 200. The product kept making my face dry and I was still breaking out. It dried out my skin horribly. Their medical Aesthetician recommended that I should buy it after I had my facial done. At the time of purchase I was not informed of any return polices nor was anything printed on a contract that I signed or even on the receipt that was given to me. I was NOT aware of any return policy nor informed at any of my visits.
When I came in for my appointment on April 12^th for a follow-​up with Krista Smith and spoke to the front counter personnel (Ruby), I told her I was very unsatisfied with my product and would like to return it with a full refund. They would not take the product back and insisted they had a policy only if I had an allergic reaction. So Ruby offered to give me 20% off on another product for me to buy. I said, no. Why would I buy another product when I already spent almost $ 200. You want me to spend more money when I already lost $ 200? Then she repeatedly said we can give you 20% off on another product. I said, You are pretty much ripping me off, 20% off is not good enough. I want my $ 200 back.
I told Ruby, how would you feel if you were in my shoes. She stop and paused, then she replied again and said, we can only give you 20% off on another product. So I said, you are not listening to me. This is not good enough. At this point, I am getting pissed off. (Ruby sounds like a robot. I’m sure her manager told her that’s the only thing she can offer. I’m sure she is caught in the middle)
I was so disturbed that no one cared that I was getting so upset. Ruby eventually gave me a free moisturizer at a $ 32 value. I said, really? Ruby said, really you don’t wan’t it? I said, It’s the principle. Don’t you get it? I started crying. (i’m not the type of person that yells). This really upset me.
Anyway, it was my time to see Krista, but it took a long time for Krista to see me. The manager, Ruby and Krista must have talked to find a way to keep the product.
Krista, said two of the products Vitamin K and Toner were the ones causing my skin to dry up.
That even made me mad even more. Krista was apologetic and try to resolve the issue even though it wasn’t her issue. So she gave me a moisturizer.
I DID NOT GET A REFUND AT ALL FOR MY PRODUCT.
DON’T BUY THEIR PRODUCTS.
MONEY HUNGRY!!! THEY ARE BIG ON INJECTIONS, BOTOX AND ALL THOSE TYPE OF PROCEDURES. They want to up sell you.
They don’t really care about you as a customer.
THE STAFF DID NOT APOLOGIZE FOR CAUSING ME TO BE SO UPSET.
I asked to speak to her Manager and she went into a room and came back out and offered me a free Moisturizer which I did not want. I told her I want to return the product that I was not satisfied with. A ManAger never came out to see me at all.
The only saving grace on this was Krista Smith, PA and her Medical Assistant who apologized on their behalf and was very sincere. I DID NOT get an apology from their staff.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I really like Krista. She is the only one that really listens and cares. She has really good bedside manner and she is really concern about your skin.
The other doctor I have seen (Gaspard) did not take her time at all.
I giving them ONE STAR!!! This is me being nice.

I did my fillers injector training there. Dr. Gaspard is amazing! She is a skillful artist with high caliber technique. I will come back soon.

I have had 2 separate trinity sessions done here. One by a Physician and one done by Nurse Kimberly.
My results after the laser procedures done by Kimberly have been OUTSTANDING!!!
I had terrible discoloration on my face requiring extensive cover-​up and makeup and now-​I no longer have to wear makeup!!! Not to mention that my wrinkles and skin sagging have also greatly diminished.
My results have been amazing! These procedures were well worth the money! As a Nurse myself, I expect a certain quality of care from any practitioner and with Kimberly’s knowledge, experience, and meticulousness — she has certainly delivered!

Came here today cause I have some skin issues. Dr Quinn is my dermatologist but she retired:(Miss you Dr Quinn! (Dr Quinn is a genius by the way!
So I got an Appt with the PA something Smith… She is just as awesome! Super friendly and knowledgeable!

I was looking for a Dermatology office to take care of a skin issue that i was so scared to find out what it was. I found Comprehensive Dermatology on Unilocal and decided to call. I spoke with Monica to make an appointment with Dr Gaspard but she informed me she was completely booked. She offered me an appointment with Rasha the physician assistant. Despite my nerves i went to the appointment. I was a little shocked when i first walked in and was greeted by a fully tattooed lady. Thats not what i was expecting in a dermatology office. Rasha was great, she put me at ease about my skin problem and educated me on how to take better care of my skin. When I met Monica I thanked her for getting me in so quickly and for being so understanding when i was going on and on. If i can just deal with Rasha and Monica for my Dermatology needs i will be happy.

I have been going to comprehensive Dermatology for years and have never been disappointed! The office is beautiful and the staff have always been very effeciant and kind. I love that I can get all my skin care need taken care of in one place, its a one stop shop :). Not only do they provide excellent skin care, but they have a number of excellent products available for purchase, and in-​house esthetician, and an in-​house pharmacy so you can leave with your prescription.
I haven’t seen anyone here except Dr. Gapsard and she is AMAZING! She is caring, careful, and very through! I never feel rushed and I always feel like she genuinely cares about me and my skin. My son also sees Dr. Gapsard and he LOVES her. She has given him is confidence back and that is priceless!
If you are looking for a new dermatologist you have come to the right place, I can’t say enough great things about Comprehensive Dermatology!

I have had numerous positive experiences at Comprehensive Dermatology Center of Pasadena. I see Dr. Sara Gaspard for annual skin checks and concerns and recently I tried some cosmetic procedures for the first time. I was very nervous and needed some information so I sat down with Mary Lou Brimecombe for a consultation.
Mary Lou provided detailed explanations of all the cosmetic options and services available. I felt confident that I had received an accurate description of the services, recovery time and I had a reasonable expectation of my outcome. Dr. Gaspard did an excellent job and I am very pleased with the results.
Dr. Lee performed the Moh’s procedure for me recently and she and her staff made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I had a few questions and Dr. Lee took several minutes to answer all my concerns before the procedure.

Krista was excellent and almost immediately diagnosed a issue that I had been having for a quite a few months. The second she confirmed it I made an appointment to get some ointment, that cleared it up within a week! The entire staff was also very efficient, friendly, and professional.

Comprehensive Dermatology Center offers dermatology and cosmetic procedures. I’ve been a patient for both, and I had good experiences. The doctors and staff here are very competent.
DERMATOLOGY
*I saw Dr. Gasperd, and although my appointment with her felt rushed, she analyzed my problem right away. Her recommendation worked so I was happy.
*I saw Krista for another skin condition. It’s easier to get an appointment with her, and my appointments started on time. I thought she was great and really knew her stuff. I asked her a lot of questions, and I was appreciative that she took the time to hear me out and educate me about my skin.
COSMETIC
*I tried a Matrix laser service with Kimberly, and she does great work. She has some appointments on Saturday, and her appointments start on time.
OTHER THINGS TO KNOW
*They don’t validate parking. Expect to pay about $ 6 if you use the hospital lot.

So, the practice used to be down-​to-​earth and reasonable. As soon a Dr. Gaspard came on, it changed, and not for the better. It’s full of snooty staff and more about aesthetics and money (read high end treatments to make middle agers look younger) than dermatology, which it used to be. So sad… I miss the old office and staff who genuinely cared.

They have been treating our family for years. We are moley, we are fair skinned, we have acne, we have skin cancer in our genes. A total skin care nightmare. We have all had nothing but good experiences here. I really appreciate how they diligently handled my teenage daughter’s acne issues. I agree that their parking situation is a little annoying, but haven’t had any problems with excessive office wait times.

Review just on office procedure.
Had an appointment at 8:45, arrived at 8:30 didn’t get seen until 9:15.
Why do we schedule appointments if we do not adhere to times. Not only that, but you have to pay for parking and they don’t offer validation. So not only are you wasting time in the waiting room, you are wasting money for parking.

I had no idea that this place was more into fillers rather than what we needed from a dermatologist. My mother needed to have a cyst removed from her face & I explained in detail to the person that made her appointment that we needed to have it done when we came in, not just a discussion about having it done. First of all — location is terrible — not terrible for a dr’s prestige, but simply horrible for ease of patients: too crowded, not enough parking & of course, they do not validate. But I digress — as I already mentioned, we came in to have the cyst removed.
We got Krista Smith — word of advice to anyone seeking dermatology services: If your dermatologist has already become scary looking from too many filler injections — RUN as fast as you can!!! This was the case with Krista — who, incidentally, looked at us like we were from another planet when we explained AGAIN that we were there to get my moms cyst removed & NOT for a cosmetic filler. At the time I didn’t know that Krista was just a PA — now it makes sense — why she came up with all those excuses why she «could not do it today.» I immediately phoned Medicare, while still in their office, to tell them that they were NOT to pay the claim because there was no service whatsoever provided — not even a consultation.
Long story short — The very next day Dr Powell, also in Pasadena, removed the cyst & Comprehensive Dermatology was completely forgotten about. Until today, when I opened up my mothers Medicare Summary to see that they had paid that claim!!!
Do not trust your provider to take the moral high ground when it comes to insurance claims — whether or not you were rendered any service whatsoever — apparently, some will submit a bill for your having walked through their door. This is NOT ethical — especially when there are other people who are in need of resources, that may not be able to receive them because resources have already been exhausted by these nonsensical claims. These kinds of practices get overlooked every day because no one wants to take the time to report these dr’s offices for making false claims.

This is a great place, and I highly recommend it. The doctors have all received awards for their stellar service, and they have a wonderful selection of products and services, as well as medical procedures.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I saw Dr. Butler. She was cavalier and seemed extremely put out by the visit. I came in for a rash and full mole check. I had to ask her three time if she could do the mole check. She kept saying «well if you want me to» When she finally agreed she asked me to remove my clothing and never gave me a gown. Upon leaving she left the door open and I had to scramble down off the table to shut the door. This was very embarrassing because I was near the exit desk. When I had the door shut and was quickly trying to get dressed she came back in for her pen. She left leaving the door open again. So LAME!
She was supposed to prescribe a cream for the rash. The front desk said it would be called in to my pharmacy. After two reminder calls in was never called in and I never got a call back.

I came in recently to get a skin tag removed.
When I called to make my appointment, the staff on the phone was helpful and got me in within a few days to see a doctor.
When I arrived, I brought a book along since there is usually a bit of a waiting period.
I started to notice people getting up and harassing the poor girl at the front desk. I guess the office was running really far behind. For me, it took probably an hour after my appt. time to be put into a room, and then another 20 minutes to be seen by the doctor.
Dr. Butler removed my skin tag in two seconds — and it didn’t even hurt! She then gave me a quick full body exam to make sure everything else was looking ok. I’m fair skinned and now 32, so it’s about time I did this.
Other than the wait, it was a fine experience. I look forward to increasing my star count the next time I go and the wait times are fixed.
