History

Established in 2005.

The owner’s — 2 gals from the Northern Bergen County area — have been friends since their first office job. Maryl founded and co-​owned a List Brokerage & Management firm — Sanmar Associates, Inc for 20 years. Her expertise in Mailing Lists & Alternative Media bring her customers 20+ years of experience in Direct Marketing. Currently, she is pursuing the addition of SEO and Mobile Texting combined with Blog and Website development to bring her customers to the forefront of the internet. Another new department will be launched after current testing is complete. Susan is busy daily with bookeeping and overseeing the handling of the packing, shipping, copying and printing that occur via the storefront.

Business Owner

Maryl has lived in Bergen County since the 70s. She received her BA at Montclair College in 1980 and went on to 2 years at NYU in the Direct Marketing Assoc Degree while working at a List Brokerage & Management in NYC. In 1985 she started SanMar Associates brought on a partner and eventually sold it in 2006. She, with Susan Carrino, went on to build MailStar and the doors opened in 2006. Maryl is originally from Iowa and Susan from New MIlford, NJ.
