She is a lifestyle portrait photographer for babies, families, high school seniors & couples. Available for special events, family reunions & celebrations.

History

Established in 2009.

Lisa has worked as a professional photographer for over 8 years. She became passionate about photography as a teenager when she received her first SLR camera and has chronicled the life of family and friends for decades.

Lisa’s passion for capturing the true essence of the moment creates unique images and lasting memories. Her use of natural light,

on-​location photo sessions, and candid shots offer a relaxed style. Lisa works with clients to create timeless portraits that can be displayed as wall art in a home or office. Mounted prints and canvas options are available. Lisa has worked as a professional photographer for seven years, but became passionate about photography as a teenager when she received her first camera on her 15th birthday.

Lisa DeNeffe was one of the photographers who volunteered her time to help take senior photos for the yearbook at Palo Alto High School for those who did not feel like they could afford a professional sitting. In my dealings with Lisa I found her to be very customer oriented and having a real desire to do what is right and kind over just making a buck.

Terrible. Complete waste of time and money. Did a family shoot with her a while back and it was such a disappointment. Wasn’t a huge fan after seeing her portfolio but thought she was decent and she was available on a short notice so thought we’d give it a shot (we only needed a few good shots anyway).
I could have stomached the ridiculously overpriced prints if they were actually worth having, but ALL the photos were bad! From lighting, to cropping, to angles and poses that she chose, everything was TERRIBLE! And absolutely no originality in poses, locations, etc. (if you look at all her photos, she has the exact same photos of different families time and time again). On top of it, she tries to control every part of the process from ordering to printing (you can’t even view your photos until you schedule an order date with her) and is a huge hassle to deal with. After all the time and money we put into this, we ended up with one photo that was mediocre at best, and even that she cropped completely off center so it’s not even usable in a standard frame.
I take better photos all day long on my camera. I’m sure if it wasn’t for DayOne next door she would have been out of business years ago. Didn’t realize just how bad she was (thought maybe I was being unreasonable picky) until we got a different photographer much later and it was a completely different story.
At the end of the day, I can maybe see how older people with no access to a good camera or editing software and who have nothing better to do with their time/​money might think she is ok. But for everyone else, STAY AWAY!

Lisa is amazing!!! Not only are the pictures she takes GORGEOUS, but she is such a pleasure to work with. My son tends to be shy around new people but opened right up to her, allowing her to capture priceless images! I can not say enough wonderful things about Lisa as a person and as a photographer!!!

This review is way overdue… but five stars nonetheless. Lisa did photography for our brand new 8 day old baby and I was completely impressed with the images she composed as well as her technical skill and ability to work with young babies. I’ve had many friends comment that the pictures she took actually bring tears to their eyes, they are so beautiful. Every day I look at those prints on our wall and I’m so grateful for Lisa and how she captured our little one… I didn’t realize how fast babies change and I was so tired as a new mom that unfortunately I didn’t get many pictures of those first months on my own. Lisa is a treasure to work with, you will love her down to earth, natural style and the amazing results she produces.

We recently set up a photo session with Lisa for both family photo’s as well as a couple of corporate head shots. We have had a few photo sessions in the past with other companies and was never really pleased with our photo’s. The shots always looked canned and unnatural… needless to say, I was dreading our photo session.
Lisa was so relaxing and comfortable to work with. She was so complimentary throughout the entire session and really put us at ease. She has a way of capturing the right expression and emotion at just the right moment. I honestly have never looked so good!!! I cannot get over how good we all look… We were all thrilled with how our photo’s turned out and are having a difficult time choosing our favorites. I highly recommend Lisa Deneffe Photograpy for all of life’s special moments!
