We are a full-service home design and remodeling architecture firm that incorporates sustainable, green building practices into both new home construction and home additions. We have completed new home construction projects and remodels in Portola Valley, Menlo Park, Atherton, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Cupertino, Sunnyvale and San Jose.
We have significant depth and expertise in site planning for hillside homes, and with design for kitchen and bathroom remodels. We work closely with local home designers, contractors, builders, and city planning departments to streamline the entire design-permit-building process for our clients.

History
Established in 1989.
Bill Maston has been involved in both landscape and building architecture since the early 1980’s. After graduating from Cal Poly’s famed architecture program, he worked in both Nevada and California before establishing his own office on Castro Street in Mountain View.
He now has a list of more than three hundred satisfied clients, business associates, and city planners in the bay area, most of whom are happy to provide a reference and a sense of what it is like to work with Bill.

Business Owner
Bill Maston is a local licensed architect who has lived in the Mountain View and Los Altos area for over 50 years.
He is the Principal of William Maston Architect & Associates, a firm that specializes in single family residential, select multi-family residential and select commercial retail projects. Bill also has a strong background in site design and master plan projects. This background has proved very effective in designing complicated hillside projects, planned unit developments and site-specific master plans. Mr. Maston’s primary focus still remains in the single family residence, new construction and remodel areas.
Bill holds architectural licenses in California (1987), Nevada (1989) and is registered with the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) since 1989.
Bill has been actively involved in the community since opening his office in 1989.
