It’s been a pleasure being with Lee Aldinger insurance for last 4 years. Yes I waited for 4 years to write this review. The best thing that I liked was that there is hardly any wait time on any time that I have called up the office. I would like to specially mention Donna’s name who is an exceptional professional working there. Her knowledge about the nitty-​gritty of car insurance and renter’s insurance is notable. She makes that extra effort to explain your complex and inevitably novice questions which makes you comfortable as a customer.

After calling numerous insurance companies, brokers and getting online quotes, I was ready to pull my hairs out! My phone was being bombarded with pushy agents promising «low prices» for crappy coverage.
I have dealt with both Estercita and Lucy at Lee Aldinger and they have been wonderful! They explained what the policy covers and even suggested what coverages I should get to save money.
The entire process was a breeze, I didn’t even have to come into their office. I was able to do everything electronically (due to my conflicting work schedule).
They seem to go with Mercury Insurance as their favorite, which is perfectly fine with me because they have the lowest quote for the same coverage and awesome service.
I am looking forward to using Lee Aldinger again in the future when I get a new car.

I’ve been using Lucy as my agent first for my car, later with my home, via Mercury. Her service is wonderful. Today, for example, I called because I got bumped to a higher car insurance. It’s due to my significant other’s driving (haha), but basically, she explained that once you decide to go to traffic court – and lost – you *automatically* get a point on your record that is immediately visible to the insurance company.
So, the traffic school that is offered after the guilty verdict is WORTHLESS as you can’t hide something already exposed. She advised me NOT to go to traffic school (oh well, wasted $ 50), drive carefully (damn stupid Newark City right-​turn Red Light camera!!!), and save the traffic school option for my next ticket if it happens sooner than later (knock on wood that I don’t get another one) because then that new ticket WILL be hidden.

I’ve been getting Mercury Insurance through Lee Aldinger since I was a Stanford student a decade ago. Since then I’ve added a more cars, renters and then homeowners and umbrella insurance. I am frugal, and ultimately my choice to use them is because Mercury consistently offers me the lowest rates. However, Lee Aldinger has also provided really nice service over the years, and I don’t have any complaints. So the best rates plus good service, what’s not to like?
