Established in 2008.

The Men’s Spa at La Dolce Vita was built in 2008 on the northwest corner of the west wing of La Dolce Vita Resort & Spa. Owner Tim Phillips, with a contractor, designed the Spa with the goal of creating environments where temperature, sound and light can be controlled to produce ultimate relaxation. Tim returned to school to obtain an esthetician degree focusing on skin care. He graduated with honors and is board certified. Tim, along with his partner Ken, a trained biochemist with years of history in the pharmaceutical industry, developed their own line of skin care products, «Dolce» using natural occurring ingredients. All product and treatment protocols were developed by Tim specifically to address the health and wellness of men.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Ken was born and raised in Rochester, New York and has lived in New Jersey, Minnesota and Southern California before locating to Palm Springs. He majored in Biochemistry and received an MBA in Marketing and Finance. Most of Ken’s career was in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Diagnostic industries which took him to many locations around the world. Today, Ken’s focus is telling the world about the wonderful spa treatments offered at The Men’s Spa at La Dolce Vita, the only Day Spa in Palm Springs dedicated to the health and wellness of men. He and his partner Tim, who is a board certified esthetician run the Spa and employ six therapists. Both Tim and Ken sell their own skin care product line called Dolce which has been created specifically for men and uses natural ingredients. Ken and Tim reside in Palm Springs and are proud owners two miniature dachshunds, Gracie and Roxy.
