Monocle Project

I am so grateful for Unilocal!We just got back from Palm Springs and I was able to find the Monocle Project. I wanted to capture the beauty of Palm Springs with family portraits. Jasmin and Ryan were an amazing team and were able to capture our family in a beautiful setting of windmills. The communication and attention to detail was excellent! I cannot wait to use our pictures for our holiday cards. I will treasure these pictures and memories forever!

We found them on facebook through my brother based on their reviews. They captured the smallest of details and character about our wedding. Our friends and family are raving about the pictures they took! They spent a lot of time getting the right shots. Really a sweet couple! I highly recommend them for your special event!

Jasmin and Ryan were/​are amazing! They are artists and have an undeniable passion for their craft… I mean the two of them have designed their own camera holsters so that they can have 2 – 3 cameras at the ready so that they have the right camera for whatever shot presents itself. Ryan was great with me and my guys… he effectively herded a group of semi-​drunk cats and produced some awesome shots all while making sure that we were where we needed to be because the wedding was running 45 minutes late. Most importantly though is their use of light that makes them so very good. Both Ryan and Jasmin capture the emotion and action or stillness or whatever of every moment they capture… the work the produced for my wife and me of our wedding, reception and after party are quite remarkable. They are both so very easy to work with and are just good people to hang out with (your photographer is with and around you all day so it helps immensely if you like him/​her). Booking Ryan and Jasmin was one of the best things we did for our wedding, if not the best, by far! They make sure they know what you want and they give it to you. They also know what you need and their documentary style of photography makes sure that those shots/​moments get captured whether you specifically ask for them or not. Their work will literally last a lifetime for my wife and I and we could not be happier. So stop reading this and book Monocle yesterday!

My husband and I were looking for a portrait shoot to help celebrate our babymoon to Palm Springs. As maternity photography can error on rather cheesy sometimes, we were hoping to find someone with an artistic eye that would provide a more elevated aesthetic. So happy we found Jasmin and Ryan!
We were referred to Monocle Project through our hotel. Living in SF, we are completely unfamiliar with the area. Jasmin and Ryan graciously worked with our preferences to set-​up the ideal location for us and even met us in Joshua Tree National Park for our session.
They are an absolute pleasure to work with! They clearly love what the do and enjoy bouncing ideas off each other, which as an added bonus, provides two photographers with two perspectives for their clients. They are warm, professional, and clearly enthusiastic about getting «that perfect shot». I also appreciated their attention to detail, noting when hair or jewelry needed adjusting, and so on.
We are deeply thrilled with the quality of their work and will appreciate these photos for years to come! Thank you Jasmin and Ryan!

The BEST photographers! Ryan and Jasmin were our photographers for our wedding and rehearsal dinner and I couldn’t be happier with them. It becomes very easy to trust their guidance during session — as a subject, you actually end up wanting to make them happy which is rare but awesome to experience. They’re also exceptional at meeting deadlines. Don’t let their age fool you, they are consummate professionals who treat their clients with enthusiasm, kindness all while delivering top service. ANYONE who needs a picture for ANYTHING whatsoever should call them! I hear they are awesome for weddings /​wedding parties — not at all surprising — but casual portraits could also be their strong suit. You will really love your pictures — I am super critical and don’t consider myself photogenic and still they managed to take beautiful images ;) I much look forward to working with them again.

Ryan and Jasmin from Monocle Project are an absolute pleasure to work with. Their enthusiasm is highly infectious, and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
They love what they do, and it shows! They went over and above for us, and shot well outside their scope because they are all about getting you the best result they can produce — whatever that takes! The fact they are husband and wife shows, as their synergy when working together is breathtaking to behold.
They also know exactly what it takes to get a great shot, expertly able to clearly and quickly direct their subject and turn them into supermodels! Their post production work is second to none too, being able to give their work that «magazine» look that turns photos into something really special with results that will «wow» everyone who sees them.

Talented photographers who happen to be fantastic people! Jasmin and Ryan took photos of our extended family while we were on vacation, and were so patient with the kids and generous with their time. The shots were gorgeous and really captured the essence of our family. Since we weren’t local, they recommended a shoot location which was perfect and suited our preferences exactly. Highly recommend!

Second year in a row that we have had our family pictures taken by Jasmin and Ryan and all we can say is, they are simply the best! We have three young kids, so the picture taking process can be a bit hectic and crazy, but Jasmin and Ryan are so personable and professional and make the process so relaxed and fun for all involved!
