Antione came out promptly to review our landscape lighting project, and had it scheduled and finished within the week. The work was done very well, and we are thrilled with the results.
He definitely knows his stuff, and gave me good information about how to turn all the different systems on and off. I absolutely will call him with any future electrical issues.

After getting 3 estimates for landscape lighting at our new home I came upon Antoine and Modern Electric. Antoine arrived at the agreed upon time for the estimate. I was immediately impressed by his knowledge of lighting choices and he had great ideas for the placement and type of lighting to use. His estimate was in line with the others, but I must say that what convinced me to use Modern Electric was Antoine’s suggestion to give me an example of the lighting by setting up a few lights with different options in the back yard so I could see that evening the lighting effect. I decided to also add a few exterior plugs and security lights.
The entire job was completed in 3 days, I was impressed with the good clean and efficient work. I would not hesitate to recommend Antoine and Modern Electric to anyone, and if needed will definitely use them again.

Modern Electric wired our 1963 home so that we could have WIFI, land lines & cable TV installed by Time Warner. The TW technician told me today that Antoine’s wiring work was among the best he’d seen. He said that the installation ordinarily takes him 3 hours, but because of the prep work that Antoine did, the installation took only 1−½ hours. He noted that our roof wiring was carefully covered to protect it from the desert weather — something he doesn’t often see.

I called Modern Electric with a long and varied list of electrical problems inside my house and outside. Upon arrival I walked in and outside of house showing Antoine each of my problems and concerns, thinking he would address only a few that day, or at a future appointment, and let the other, non-​essential items lapse for a while. Amazingly, that very day, Antoine attended to each item, and did so in a professional and highly knowledge manner.
Antoine is perfect! He has a good idea for aesthetics and is a highly skilled and polite electrician. Jose was very helpful, as well. Since the initial appointment, I have added to my list of discretionary lighting improvements, and expect the same, efficient and professional work to be done as soon as the new fixtures are shipped.

Jose installed a ceiling fan, changed a dimmer switch to a regular switch, installed a new outlet and relocated a couple of outdoor low voltage lights in my Rancho Mirage home. He was polite, neat and efficient. Everything looks and works great. Antoine followed up to make sure I was happy. I would definitely use this company again!

Service providers in PS can be very hit and miss. They are either very good or very bad. We needed some light fixtures installed in our new home. We called and left messages for two others (highly recommended on Unilocal by the way) and never heard back from either if them. Called Antoine. He responded and came out promptly as scheduled. Install went quickly and flawlessly. Price was reasonable. We will be using him for future electrical needs.

We are glad we found Antoine Tessier at Modern Electric. After moving into our house we discovered several electrical problems. Antoine was able to fix them all.
The garage was a total mess with exposed electrical wires running everywhere. Antoine replaced the bad wiring, and properly installed new wiring. After the wiring was fixed Antoine added a new outlet for the freezer and replaced the motion detectors. On the Outside he helped us design and install low voltage LED landscape lighting.
In the Kitchen Antoine added new circuits for the microwave and under counter lights, and added four new outlets.
For other projects around the house Antoine spent several hours in the attic adding new electrical circuits, new outlets, and ran coax and Ethernet cables to several rooms.
