I feel compelled to write a review regarding my experience with this company to advise and warn others considering working with them. Norma came to my home a month ago. We reviewed the rooms we (two people) use regularly, gave her a floorplan of the Main House (this was supposedly to help familiarize the staff with what they were to do), attached Casita, and Detached Casita. She emailed a very detailed quote; literally breaking it down by room. i.e., Dining Room, Office, Powder Bathroom, Closet, Laundry Room (?), etc. As I had indicated there are parts of the home we rarely use, I didn’t find this unworkable. In fact, I felt this would allow me to specify rooms to be cleaned ONLY when they needed it. WRONG! At this time, the price for the Main House was $ 95.00.
On February 29 they sent me an email asking me to advise them two days prior to each visit «what» they would be doing so they could provide the appropriate staff. It made sense to me, so I did that.
Norma’s daughter, Ana, called to inform me that it was not profitable for them to only do parts of the house, it would need to be a «whole house» clean or they could not continue to service me. So, I was sent another «quote» for the entire home «Basic Cleaning.» This new quote spelled out each & every room in the Main House and blowing off the patio/​Loggia furniture for a new price of $ 160.00. There would always be an Extra Charge for each of my Casitas; $ 25.00 for the attached and $ 50.00 for the Detached. This email also detailed three levels of cleaning service; Light Cleaning, Basic Cleaning, and Deep Cleaning. I had agreed to their Basic Cleaning: «A general basic cleaning of a home including baseboards, refrigerator, oven, and various special details.» Sounds good, right? (I wonder what the «special details» are?)
Watch out. It’s what they don’t say that will get you. Yesterday was the first visit under this new quote. I stripped the beds, laundered and ironed the sheets, replaced the towels as I always do; but SURPRISE! After the crew of two left (I had been told they were sending four) and I had given them a check for the agreed upon $ 160.00 plus $ 50.00 for my larger Detached Casita; Ana called to say that I owed them FOR MAKING THE BEDS! Can you believe it? They charge $ 10.00 per bed to make a bed! And though I had personally cleaned & refreshed my Attached Casita myself as my guest was still in residence, the crew insisted to Ana that they had done that Casita.
Ana insisted «making beds are always extra» and that it was never discussed. Now the «odd» thing is that their employees had been here several times by now and had, in fact, made the beds with no mention ever about an extra charge. What kind of a business is this anyway? I feel like I have been caught up in a «bait & switch» situation with this company. They may do a good job, but nailing them down to what that job entails and a price for it has been too much of a challenge for me.
Their response: «It’s not a good fit.» You can say that again!

From the initial contact on the phone, Norma and her staff have provided excellent and professional service. They leave your home spotless and inviting to return to. As a seasonal visitor to the area, this was an outstanding recommendation we’re happy to share.

We were more than happy with the service we were provided. The team went above and beyond our expectations. They arrived on time and did a fantastic job. Norma and Luxury Touch are a dream come true. I rented at RLQ for a couple months and have had a steady stream of family and friends visiting. I found Norma on Unilocal and contacted her on short notice. She was able to fit me in and the work was the best ever. Several times since she has saved the day. Her crews are dependable, honest and extremely hard working. No task was off limits. They don’t miss a thing. The house and outside areas sparkle each time. She should charge more for this quality of work. I wish I could take them home with me and will be the first call I make next year. Gratefully posted.

I started using Luxury touch cleaning. My experience with Norma and her crew the first couple of weeks was great. But after that it seemed they did less and less and were forgetful of emptying the trash, leaving dirty dishes, not remembering to put my bathroom Rugs back down –showers not cleaned well-​conditioner left on the walls.etc. I brought it to her attention several times. And it still continued to happen. Norma constantly keep telling me how busy she is and she’s a company owner and she’s doing me a favor of coming on the day I wanted her to come. Which grew old I might add. Norma also quoted me a price for the interior of the home and a price for the exterior. After the first week she was regretful
she quoted me so little she said because it’s a lot of work. I was shocked but later agreed to pay her more. Double actually. Also one week into working for me she asked me if I would pay her a month advance which totals 1,800 because she wanted to put advertising on her car for her Buisness. I was taken back at this woman asking for money like that from her client she just met. I felt very uncomfortable. Again I brought to her attention that they didn’t clean dishes etc and instead of making right as this is what they do for a living, she gave me notice to quit. I don’t think I was asking too much as you do have a cleaning service, and cleaning the dishes etc is part of the cleaning.

They do an awesome job! So glad I found them on Unilocal.I will definitely have this company as my cleaning service from now on!

We have used Norma and her team at Luxury Touch Cleaning several times for our vacation rental. They do an outstanding job preparing our home for the next tenants. Our guests must stay at least 30 days, and Norma’s team can have the home clean and ready for our next guests in as little as 3 hours. We highly recommend this service.
