Hello, my name is Cliff Fisher, I have been an electrician for over 35 years. I have been a licensed C-​10 contractor from 1993 without interruption. We maintain all bonds, workman’s comp and liability insurances required by the State of California. All my employees are state certified, non smokers, fast at their trade and drug free. I maintain a strong work ethic and strive for a quality end product as well as happy customers. We are members of BBB and Angie’s list and maintain an A rating with both. We have a extensive client list including several management companies, the city agency’s of Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Indio and Desert Hot Springs have also used us over the years.

we recently had an electrical problem in our home. I knew exactly who to call in my local area. Cliff Fisher Electric has had a successful reputation in the Palm Springs area for many years. Cliff retuned our call promptly & was at our home the next morning earlier than expected. He quickly found the source of our problem. He was efficient, courteous, and was fair in his price. We called Cliff Fisher Electric for an estimate, we wanted to put electrical outlets around the outside of our property, and have all our lights changed to Led. Cliff the owner came himself and was very professional and thorough in his pricing, and broke everything down for us. We hired his company and they did an excellent job. We would highly recommend their services.

I called Cliff on an elec. issue not his specialty and so he referred me to a specialist friend who charged $ 110/​hr. Insurance helped defray but, astonishingly, the total was $ 800 for a motor costing $ 200 retail. I simply do not trust, really, any contractor up front here in the desert. I advise 3 local references BEFORE a service call and, of course, Unilocal. NEVER ask a real estate agent for referrals. Rangel «seems» a better choice but I only see that here on Unilocal with 13 + reviews.

I don’t understand these negative reviews at all, whatsoever. First of all, to say that Cliff is rude is ridiculous. If you expect Cliff to come into your home, sit down, have tea and crumpets, and chat for an hour, that isn’t going to happen. He comes in and gets straight to business, He wants to diagnose the problem and fix it as quick as possible at a very reasonable rate. We had a MAJOR issue to where it was lucky our house didn’t burn down. Cliff’s team, which was four of them and Cliff himself had to crawl through a very tiny space in our attic at temps over 110, to pull all new wire, were so professional and told us everything that was going on step by step. We had to put four sheetrock holes in the ceilings and walls and Cliff even called his sheetrock guy, Steve, to come over and fix all of it, the same day, who, also was very reasonable.
And please, to say that Cliff charges high prices so he can live in a high end gated community is simply not true. He’s a man that has built up his business over several years, works his ass off, charges affordable rates, which by the way was half the cost of the first electrician, so if he wants to live a nice house big deal!
All I can say, is, if it wasn’t for Cliff and his professional, knowledgeable team our house would have caught on fire with us in it.

Our first experience with this company was in an emergency situation. Mr Fisher himself responded very promptly and resolved the problem. We felt his rates were most reasonable. We were satisfied enough with his work to have him return to do other jobs. Always answer the phones, keeps us updated on progress. We are pleased with his work

I work for dental office in Palm Springs. The trouble was at the office and we were supposed to see patients within an hour and a half. I had called other electricians and they gave us two hour window of a possible technician coming out. This just did not work for the office; we had patients scheduled all day. Fortunately when I called Fisher electric Keith came out and got us up and running within an hour. He recommended ideal repair to electrical problems in our building. I hope the landlord will move forward with this company in replacing necessary equipment. They were honest and upfront about what they were able to do for us.

We rented a house in Palm Springs with 20 girls for a Bachelorete party. Got home late Saturday night to find out AC and power was out in it was 90 outside. The owner gave us permission to call a 24 hour electrician. I found Cliff on google and Cliff himself came out around 1 am and solved the problem in an hour. Nice guy and great customer service! I would highly recommend.

I own a gym in Palm Springs, WorkOUT Gym, my contractor needed an electrician fast in order to get an Electrical load schedule to the planning department to get my construction plans approved for improvements. I was told by my contractor that when he called Cliff, Cliff said he had just got home, and was done for the night, but my contractor expressed our urgency of the matter and Cliff came right over to my gym within minutes. I do not know what happened with all these other reviews, but my personal experience with Cliff is that he was extremely nice, and in my opinion VERY knowledgeable. BTW, If I had read his Unilocal listing, prior, I would not have had my contractor call this guy, but I am VERY glad he did. Cliff promised to have my document ready in the AM and he followed through on his word, believe me I have not had a lot of luck with people doing that in construction, so that is a BIG plus for me. Also, when he was not able to send it to me via email, (because my inbox was full). He got in his truck and personally delivered it to the gym. He gets and A++++ from me. I have several businesses, and I could tell by his behavior and explanations to me that this guy REALLY knows his stuff. When I need an electrician in my gym again, you bet I will call Cliff and I recommend you do too! I do not know if I overpaid for an Electrical load schedule, an evening visit and the fast turnaround. but I was charge $ 225. which I thought was very reasonable, compared to some of the other construction fees I have had to pay. Heck I have to pay that just to have my LLC document renewed. In reading these other reviews, I do not feel like I was «ripped off» at all. In fact, I feel like he really knows his stuff, and really looks out for the best interested of the customer.

This guy charged me $ 88 each for 3 smoke detectors that are available at Lowe’s for $ 41 each (Kidde PI2010). He explained the gouge by saying the extra is necessary to provide a warranty. Really? A greater than 100% markup to provide a warranty that probably will never be needed?
Sorry Cliff. .. I won’t be giving you any more opportunities to «provide me a warranty»!

Cliff Fischer is the Best! What I truly appreciate about him is that he listens and tries to help me over the phone. Yesterday my AC quit working. When I called he tried to walk me through over the phone how to reset the breaker. Unfortunately the breaker wouldn’t reset and he was out here within the hour to replace it. As a woman on my own without any knowledge of electrical issues I appreciate his honesty and would only call him for any issues.

Dangerous! This company sent over two men and charged me hourly for two when one was obviously only an apprentice. Each time the electrcian opened an outlet box, he’d do what he needed to do and the other followed him around just putting the boxes back together. Then he spent a good amount of time trying to sell me on additional lighting. Tried to tell me I needed a GFC on every outlet in my garage when everyone know you only need one per circuit. He took me for an idiot. I was an idiot to have paid him almost $ 700 for a couple of hours work. What a rip off!
