Went here this past Saturday with our kids and grandson. Andy was our server. He was phenomenal. At our table we had amazing clam chowder, although it didn’t have the smoky bacon flavor it normally does, it was still good. We also had filet mignon, two of the Seabass and I had the sugar spiced salmon which was out of this world delicious. Everybody was extremely happy with their meals. The lemon drop martini’s are delicious as well. The manager whose name I failed to get was constantly checking in with his customers to make sure everybody was happy and see if they needed anything. As always a stellar dining experience at Pacifica.

Since the owner and manager of Pacifica Seafood Grill contacted me about my Unilocal review to say that what my friends and I experienced in March at their restaurant is not acceptable, my husband and I went to Pacifica Seafood Grill last night for dinner. We had an entirely different experience. We were seated upon arriving at our reservation time, Matthew our server came over to introduce himself and to ask if we wanted to order drinks. After serving our drinks Matthew told us about the special and took our order. Our service was timely, very attentive, and the food was excellent. I had the Roasted Beet Salad and the Sugar Spiced Salmon, my husband had the Tomato Mozzarella Salad and the Boneless Ribeye. We brought the Mocha Semifreddo home to enjoy later in the evening. I’m so glad we gave them another try because everything was wonderful this visit.

My husband and I came here to use a gift card we received as a wedding gift. Seating was awkward. We were seated in a very crowded area at a very small table near the patio. I was told by my friend to try the Chilean sea bass, which I did. It was absolutely amazing. My husband had the steak, which he said was very good. However, the service was terrible. Could not find our server for refills or anything else. At the end of the meal, she brought us the wrong check(for someone who had a lot of alcohol, when we had none.) So, the food was great but the service and seating were so bad that the food could not salvage the experience. I don’t think I would return, even though I’d love to have the Chilean sea bass again.

On our most recent visit here for happy hour libations and snacks, they were PACKED in the bar area. This might explain why the cost of the martinis is now up to $ 8, which isn’t terrible, but it’s also not the $ 5 that I so fondly remember from not so long ago. Service was on the decidedly slow side on our last visit. Our waitress, Veronica, seemed a little harried, and could definitely have saved herself some steps by multi-tasking(i.e., taking an order at a table instead of walking past it to go pick up an order). Speed aside, she was a lot of fun — someone who I would love to go out drinking with!

Came here for a work dinner and had the lobster tail and filet mignon. Also had the oysters, seared ahi, and bacon wrapped medjool dates(best option!) for appetizers. They placed us on the patio which has a nice view of the street with all the hustle and bustle of the shops and restaurants in the area. Great service, great food, and great location.

Pacifica was recommended to us by the concierge at the hotel. We only had appetizers and their martinis, and I must say they have the best martinis we have ever had. I would definitely recommend this place for their vodka bar!

What a wonderful meal. First time here, but if and when in the area again, I will return. I have had CA seafood all week and really chose not to have that this evening. I did have the free range bone-in chicken breast with spinach and asparagus; so glad I did! It was AWESOME. Great service as well. Sorry I didn’t take a pic before devouring!

Nice dining experience with the all night happy hour as well! Had the sea bass which was cooked perfectly! Great service and good atmosphere. Best martinis in the desert.

I like this place a lot for the combination of things it offers, we eat here as a family of 5 when we come to Palm Springs:) I loved the sea bass and rice dish, it is now my new favorite. Kiddos were happy with mashed potatoes and salmon. This place just has a great vibe and service is wonderful and friendly:)

We were in the area due to my husband’s job and we have never heard about this place. Read some reviews and we decided to go for it. For appetizers we ordered the ceviche and calamari, I have had better calamari but the ceviche was to die for. For entrees we enjoyed the Chilean sea bass which has to be my favorite. The dished was over some mango sticky rice and OMG it was to die for. My husband ordered the boneless braised beef short ribs and they literally melted in your mouth. We absolutely suggest you try this place . For drinks we just ordered a glass of Riesling and Moscow mule, which I must say we definitely liked.

Nice place. Lots of great-sounding seafood dishes, but for those dining with your seafood loving group, if you are unable to eat sea items, there is not much to ingest. As a vegan, I had to stick with a cocktail only. Prized as a ‘vodka bar’, I was surprised at the lack of knowledge of our waitress. I ordered a vodka listed on their electronic menu, but she said the bartender couldn’t find it(I think she didn’t remember what I ordered?) because I did receive the proper item upon second questioning. Overall, nice atmosphere, but you must like seafood, or at least some animal products to dine here.

The pan roasted chilean seabass deserved a standing ovation. It is served with honey-soy glaze, ginger sticky rice, bok choy, green curry-coconut sauce and sesame seeds. You’ve probably never eaten this dish before but as soon as you swallow that goodness your stomach just screams«yes! this is destiny, we were meant to be»! It takes a lot of guts to cook a quintessential seafood staple, but also add a bit of fusion to it. It either goes horribly wrong, or in this case, almost ungodly right. It is quite pricey for a dish($ 38.5), but the seasoning was excellent and the atmosphere very pleasant and intimate. Of all of the restaurants I’ve tried on El Paseo, Pacifica is definitely one of my favourites at the moment.

Went to this place for lunch with the wife and it was decent. It was beautiful weather and we got to sit out on the deck overlooking El Paseo Drive and the mountains in the background. My wife had a salad which she said was delicious. I had the New England Clam Chowder(We’re from Boston so I just wanted to see how it was) and it was pleasantly delicious. I also had the fish tacos which were fairly good. Unfortunately, the pork carnitas in taco form was fairly dry. Luckily the Pacifica’s Original taco was delicious and I probably should got two of those! Overall a decent place worth trying.

We were 1st time diners and I’ve got to say our experience was fantastic! We sat in the bar area, Daniel was our bartender and he was excellent! He definitely made our meal enjoyable and gave us great recommendations. He made us house cocktails that were made to perfection and the food was prepared just as we had ordered. I will definitely be coming back, maybe next we’ll sit on the patio and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

This was my first time here. My boyfriend had been to Pacifica Seafood several years ago before I knew him. We were shopping on El Paseo Drive, so it seamed like a logical choice as we love seafood. I had their new dish; the Coconut Prawns with spicy orange marmalade, ginger rice, julienne vegetables. It was very good. My boyfriend had the Rainbow trout cranberry wild rice, beurre blanc, tropical fruit salsa. We both had delicious martinis. It was 2.15pm so it was crowded and the service was good and clientele was a nice upscale vibe. I like the big sign that says ‘YES’ in an arrow to direct you to the restroom at the end of the hallway. We often go out to the Coachella Valley at the weekend, so this will be one of regular places to eat. Next time, we’ll try dinner.

Floury, otherwise flavorless, clam chowder. Out of balance — too sweet — brown sugar rub on the salmon(I’ve made this dish before and you need to have an equal balance of sweet, salt, and spice — this one needs more of the latter two). Salmon was properly cooked to requested medium rare(default is medium). My husband’s roast chicken lacked seasoning, but was moist. Crème brûlée was like vanilla pudding with a cold sugar topping. Update — owner did contact me and apologized and offered a gift certificate. I do appreciate the follow-up from him, he clearly cares about his customers and their experience. I declined the gift certificate on principle but it was nice of him to offer nonetheless.

Best fish I’ve had in the whole Palm Desert/Palm Springs/La Quinta area. This is a more expensive restaurant, but it’s been worth it so far every time we’ve gone. If you’re looking for a really good seafood meal with good wine options, this is a solid choice. The location is also great if you want to pop into a few stores around El Paseo before or after. Probably best for date nights and maybe families with older children, not little kids.

JUSTOKAY. 3* is generous. Great atmosphere on the back outside patio. Light spray from spritzers keep it cool and the sun setting in beautiful oranges and pink can’t be beat. Service is friendly and efficient. What suffers is the food. Oysters on the half shell are HUGE and reasonably priced but lack texture and flavor. Crab Louie is large and full of crab, however the cooked egg is way over-cooked and is visually unappealing with a dark ring around the yolk. An unacceptable mistake for a $ 23 salad. Fettucine with shrimp scampi is heavy laden with cream, butter, capers, wine — too rich to be appealing or eat much of. I can’t recommend Pacifica Seafood. It’s not worth the $$$ for that ** quality of food. Keep looking.
