I have been getting my hair, makeup, eyebrows and nails done here for years. And all of them are significantly better than ever! Anna who is the owner and extremely talented and busy lady, is pretty much a 1 woman show-Literally. She has a natural talent for beauty and fashion and is well above having one salon in the city of Palatine IL. Her portfolio consists of events at playboy mansion, at Emmys and has recently been filmed for a show, but you would never know other than her supreme talent at making people beautiful. She does not use one exclusive makeup brand, but a mix of her favorite items from all different lines yes including drug store. It’s because she is an expert and kinda like when you read any Women’s Magazine the experts recommend the best of each product and thats just what she uses on you! I do think that Anna needs to have more people helping her at her salon but she is very picky on her staff and only wants the best, but its hard to find stylists locally that match her talent! She definitely could be a celebrity stylist or a celebrity herself and I am happy that stays at her salon in Palatine so I can get the star treatment and look great!

I had a great experience at Studio 62! I went in for a no chip manicure and was taken care of really well and quickly. They have a super cool nail dryer which is much faster than any other I’ve experienced. I’ve had 4 no chip manicures in the past and this has been my best one I’ve had, hands down. I’m on Day 9 right now and my nails still look perfect. It was interesting talking to the owner, Anna, about the salon and other things she can do. I really want to go back soon to get something drastic done to my hair! Bleach white blond, here I come! :)

I went here on my wedding day to get my hair done and was disappointed by the experience because I usually am a fan of the salon. Prior to the actual day, I was told by the owner, Anna, that she and two other girls would come in to style my hair as well as three others in the wedding. We were on a strict time limit and were promised that we would be back to my house by 1pm for the photographer. Well, when we came in that day at 10:00a, Anna was late coming in and was the only stylist planning on doing our hair. To make a long story short, I had to leave early with my sister while the other two girls got their hair done. It was irritating only because I had to have my brother come later to pick up the other girls, who didn’t make it home until almost 2p. Anna informed me that since she wasn’t doing my make-up that she didn’t feel she needed other stylists to come in. I felt in a way that I was being punished that I chose not to have that service. Upon the initial trial run, I decided to get my make-up done, but later changed my mind after she used the mascara wand straight from the already opened and obviously used tube. Also, I was expecting to get pampered with luxury products, but she only used drug store products. Sadly, I will now be breaking up with my stylist after almost three years. I will say that the hair turned out well, but my sister had to get hers redone as it looked horrible after the first styling. When my sister finally said something, Anna said oh I knew you wouldn’t like it. Wouldn’t you suggest something else for your clients if you figured they wouldn’t like it or if it looked horrible? Does anyone know any good places in the city?
