Roberta Williams Salon and Day Spa

It saddens me to share my first and last experience with this salon, as I like to support local businesses and try to turn a negative into a positive. However, this was not the case. First of all, I have really long, straight to wavy hair and wanted a «body wave» curl for easy style after a shower.
My appointment was at 2pm, and met the stylist (Cathy) who was to do the perm. Because my hair is long, I was on the chair getting rollers placed in my hair for at least 3 hours =(Solution saturated my hair for 20 – 30 minutes and was rinsed twice.
The aftermath of the perm turned my hair into spiral curls, NOT what I wanted. Cathy said that it would take 1 – 2 weeks for the perm to settle into my hair. I left the salon at 7:10pm with dripping wet, spiral curls, and very upset.
Exactly three weeks from the salon service, my hair has become matted, ultra frizzy and so unmanageable, it looks like a birds nest. I have tried all the recommended products that was suggest (i.e. Redken Curvaceous) and nothing has helped.
I truly regret going to this salon, getting the service I was not happy with, and when asked for a refund, I am being ignored and pushed aside.
My experience only confirms my worst nightmare of a hair salon.

This is a nice salon. I’ve had a facial and haircut, but there was nothing exceptionally different about the services and customer service that sets it apart from the other salons.
