First time going there. Ordered the seafood noodle soup and got ABSOLUTELYZEROSHRIMP. Nothing but noodles, vegetables, and a couple pieces of imitation crab. Was excited to try because I had never been, but most likely will not return for the sole fact that the dish I ordered said I would get shrimp and no shrimp were added.

Great food at a fantastic price! Place is clean and open, with plenty of options. I couldn’t decide what to order and the staff was most helpful. You can build your own Mongolian grill variation or order off the menu. I love the location and katsu chicken. I will be back soon.

I had the fried rice which was pretty good and it was about $ 12 something. I just thought I’d get more than literally 3 shrimp in that large container.

The food was amazing. I haven’t had any problems with anything I’ve ordered there and it’s pretty fulfilling for the price. Over all I come here quite a bit and I love it!

Couldn’t even finish my meal. During my meal I could only think about the risk I was taking with my body, putting what seemed like day old meat scraps into my mouth. Upon completing my meal, the rest of my day was shot. I came home and had to rest as my body attempted to figure out how to digest this food. The beef had was tough, scattered with cartilage, the chicken was chewy, the mac salad was 90% mayo, and the rice was dry. Luckily I could douse the rice with soy sauce to mask its flavor. Essentially, the only way to eat this food is to cover it with Sriracha, so that you can only taste the Sriracha. Maybe I am too critical of what I put in my body… but I would recommend avoiding this place at all cost.

Been to multiple Hawaiian BQQ. This by is the best. BQQ chicken and katsu chicken are my favorite. I like how they have a lot different combos to choose from. They also have special combo pricing for each day of the week(5.56 $). Beef or chicken bowls for 3.70 $ everyday (Cheap!!) Warning: sometimes there’s wild things running around, crying, and plain being annoying.(Kids)

This place is so great! Its always clean and well stocked on the food bar. The prices are super for the quantity of good food you get. I discovered this place about 4 months ago and have gone there about 20 times since! The staff is super friendly and always cleaning up. The daily specials are a great bargain. Fantastic place.

Great food for a great price. This is a one-bowl Mongolian and here’s a tip: don’t put noodles in your bowl because they’ll add them at the grill so you get more food for your money. Pile it high and go to town! I saw one couple yesterday who managed to get 3 times the amount of food towering in their bowl than I ever could, then they got it to go. I’m fairly certain they split it. The staff is really nice and the food is fresh. I’ve only been here a couple of times, but my husband is a semi-regular. Highly recommend it and you can make it a cheap eats if you take your time to artfully load your bowl. ;)

Great food! Poor customer service! One of the cashiers was extremely rude. I know that this place only serve Mongolian BBQ certain days of the week, not everyday. I asked if they were serving this specific day, she pointed to the menu with a smart ass smirk. My wife asked how was the Hawaiian BBQ chicken and have a smart ass answer. The food deserves five stars but the customer service gets just one star, giving this specific restaurant an average three stars.

This review is strictly for my take out experience. Plenty of parking, located at the north end of the strip mall. Came in on a Saturday evening after a long day of visiting Oxnard for my boy’s soccer tournament. I didn’t feel like going home cooking and my family loves Hawaiian BBQ. So I Unilocaled searched Yummy Hawaiian BBQ and gave it a shot. Each ‘plate’ I ordered was under $ 8. Chicken Katsu was excellent. Stayed crispy thru my 45 min commute home. This was my kids favorite. Chicken Teriyaki was yummy as well. And great portion size. The Hawaiian BBQ was ok… This is the boneless shredded meat one. It was fine by me, however it was not favored over the Katsu and Teri chicken. I asked for double Mac Salad no rice(we cooked rice at home). They don’t skimp on portions here, including the Mac Salad. Plenty of leftovers of everything from my family of 5! Yes, I would come back when in the area and I would recommend Yummy Hawaiian for take out. Good Food with a Great Value. Minus 1 star… Not really feeling the aloha spirit in the décor and cleanliness of the place. I’m good taking my order to go.

Came here after reading the reviews and I must say I was impressed. The Hawaiian BBQ rib plate was delicious and the portions were huge, for 10 bucks you could buy a plate and share it. Definitely worth the money.

First off, I can see my rating for this place improving with time. Very impressed with first visit. Teriyaki beef bowl was good. The beef could of been cooked a little better with more char and teriyaki flavor. However, the rice and vegetables were spot on. Very good at a nice price. The fried shrimp and chicken plate was excellent. The shrimp had a great crunch with nice flavor. The chicken had the right char with the right teriyaki flavor. Mac salad was ok. Rice was cooked perfect. Nice, spacious interior that was clean and comfortable to eat it. Employees were excellent.

Sometimes you don’t want the same old food. What are the options most people think of? Maybe a burrito, burger, pizza or sandwich for lunch. When you are are really hungry and want something different then this is your place. This Asian Pacific cuisine offers tasty BBQ flavors with lots of fried rice. Most dishes are pretty good and are set at an average lunch price of 10 dollars which I think is pretty standard for this area. The outside isn’t very fancy looking and would be easy to pass up if you didn’t know about this place. It’s what’s on the plate that counts here. The portions won’t let you down giving you bang for your buck. This place is worth the visit!

I was looking for something different to eat and maybe I should look a lot further. L&L is usually where I go but I wanted to give this place a shot. In other words one time and one time only is good enough for me. First, the place is a knock off of L&L. Secondly, the food was more expensive and my wait time was pretty long considered there was about a total of 3 people waiting. Next, it was weird how they have a Mongolian setup which they left unattended and dirty. Lastly, when I brought the food home it was pretty dry and bland. I didn’t even finish the food. Overall, I should of just gone to the real thing. I wouldn’t not recommend this place at all but that’s only me. Sorry to the people that get offended but that’s my experience. Everyone has a different experience and mine wasn’t so good. My first and last time going there no matter what anyone says.
