Kaiser Air Conditioning and Sheet Metal was founded in Oxnard in 1981 and we’ve been providing heating and cooling services in the area ever since. History

Established in 1981.

Kaiser Air Conditioning is a family owned business established over in 1981 by Neil Kaiser. Neil worked through the ranks of his local sheet metal union where he learned and further developed his incredible craftsmanship skills in the field of HVAC and sheet metal.

Kaiser AC began with a determined vision, a single truck, a few machines and a small sheet metal facility in the heart of Ventura County. Over the following 22 years, Neil continued to grow Kaiser AC through investing in employee training and personnel expansion, increased sheet metal fabrication capabilities and a larger facility.

At age 58, Neil began planning for retirement, and worked for several years grooming his nephew, Cory Dishman, for the task of continuing the legacy and vision of Kaiser AC. After working for Kaiser AC for 18 years, Cory purchased the company on November 1, 2002.

Today, the company has grown to over 20 employees, 12 trucks and a 5,000 square foot sheet metal fabrication facility in Oxnard, CA

Business Owner

Cory has grown up in the HVAC trade and has a passion for seeing his customers find solutions to there comfort needs. Born and raised in Oxnard, he is extremely familiar with the needs in the Ventura County area. He has been in the industry since 1984 and has vast hands on experience in HVAC industry such as service/​repair, new construction, commercial, shop fabrication, layout, air balancing, duct design, and estimating.

That experience has paid off now that he is running the company and continues to pass down his knowledge and experience to his employees.

He has been married to his bride Caroline for 27 years and has 3 children– Curtis, Caley, and Cameron.

When he is not working you will find him on the golf course doing his best to keep his handicap down low. He is also active at his church and does his best to give time and resources to local charities that you will find listed on the company website

Kaiser installed my HVAC in April. Class organization all the way around. Robert N was my salesman and the quarterback of the job — he is a pleasure to work with and very thorough. He helped me understand what was in my best interest even if it was different than what I originally thought I wanted/​needed. He could have simply sold me something and walked away but he took the time to make sure it was RIGHT. Alex and the install crew were courteous and respectful. They showed up when they said they would and finished on time. If you need an HVAC in Ventura or Santa Barbara I highly recommend Kaiser.

Kaiser is a special company, obviously run by an executive who deeply cares about his customers and his employees, and who clearly manages a superb team of committed professionals. My project required several house visits, each with a special job, and get this – even though I offered to pay every time, they would not take my money until the whole project was completed. It’s strange to be turned down for payment by a company that is working hard on your behalf, but that’s what they did twice. This kind of trust is hard to come by in this world of pay it now business.
Caroline, the person who manages Kaiser’s appointments, is perfect for the job; she’s a warm and excellent communicator who exudes what I think should be the company’ motto, «We care, and we will show it to you every time». She’s great, as is their customer service in general.
Noël was the technician that came all the way to my house in Santa Barbara, and he was a quintessential pro when it came to every aspect of my HVAC system including a complex air purifier that was out of date and for which parts were no longer available. He figured out how to replace the unit as a fraction of the cost of buying a new one, saving me probably at least $ 500. The other work he did was superior in all ways, leaving me with a modern, up to date system that performs better than it did ten years ago when it when it was new.
One last thing about Noël; he is an easy going guy with great communication skills. Plus he’s very smart and very experienced. And he is a consumer advocate. Ask for him. You will be lucky if you get him, though I suspect all of Kaiser’s reps are extremely well trained.
So do I recommend Kaiser Air Conditioning? That would a resounding YES, YES, YES!

We had an AC panel issue for over 2 months which gave one side of the office no AC/​Heat. Not fun. We had another company replace our AC panel and the AC unit still didn’t work. They visited us 3 more times to «solve the issue» but still no answer, something wrong with the mother board. So I called Kaiser Air Conditioning, thank you Jesus! Kevin said the wiring was wrong and some other minor issues and now we’re back in action! Totally recommend, I can finally scratch this off my list. Yay!

I wouldn’t even give them a rating of 1 but had to rate them at least. I have no heat on in the house. It is very cold. I called them and made an appt for after hours call to fix heater. They never showed up! Now my children and I have another night of no heat. It is freezing in this house! That is just cruel to make me wait all night for them, and then not being able to call any other technician because of the late hour!

As a businessman/​company owner/​engineer I supervised construction projects for over 40 years. As an executive pastor, among other things, I was construction manager for repurposing a 40,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Newbury Park into a state of the art church in 2002, including the design and installation of a very large, sophisticated HVAC system. So I very much value both technical and job execution expertise, balanced by a highly evolved set of business ethics and morals. After soliciting three bids for replacing our central heating unit and installing a new air conditioner, I found Kaiser Heating and Air Conditioning to have all of these attributes, and more, and signed a contract with them. They were professional in every respect, and fulfilled all of my expectations, from all of the «little» things, on-​time performance, respect for the customer’s privacy and enjoyment of his/​her property during the job, cleanliness, etc., to the «big» things like making the whole process a win-​win proposition for us both, going above and beyond the contract to make things right (they even installed a damper in a duct whose air flow was too high that they didn’t have to do). The results were great, and my wife and I couldn’t be more satisfied. During the same time period we also had a new roof installed, got new vinyl windows and shutters throughout, a patio cover replaced, the house painted inside and out with all popcorn removed, some electrical work done, a replacement fence installed, some new appliances installed, etc. Kaiser clearly was the best contractor of the bunch, and I would use them again in the blink of a cynical professional’s eye. Special kudos to our salesman/​project coordinator, Robert Napier, a consummate professional and an even nicer person.

I scheduled an appointment to have my old wall heater checked. The guy was an hour late and unapologetic. I’m not even sure he knew when my appointment was by his laid back demeanor. I asked if he could do a carbon monoxide check. He said he could but that equipment was back at the shop? Wow. Really? You mean to tell me that in that entire van he drove up in, that is not standard equipment? I had called around for estimates. I wish I had gone with a company who charged a little more for a service call. You get what you pay for.
