ASR Construction

A few months ago my washing machine overflowed and flooded my garage. This is a big deal in our world because we had recently moved in and had tons of our belongings in boxes waiting for us to unpack them filled in the garage. ASR showed up quickly and helped us move our things out of the garage and put other large items up on blocks so we could begin the dry down process. They helped us assess the situation and save everything that was important to us. As with all emergencies… It happened at night and just before leaving town. The level of professionalism and care we experienced made it easy to trust the employees to access our home while we were gone. From what we understand from listening to their amazing technicians Damon and Blake there is a science to drying structures properly in order to avoid mold so someone on their team would come by to check on the equipment periodically and determine what tweaks needed to be made to complete the drying process properly. By the time we got back from our 3 day weekend getaway everything was all done. Everything was back to normal. I have never had this kind of experience before but I highly recommend anyone who has an emergency such as a water damage to call ASR. They will do a great job and truly make you feel as if you are their most important customer!

I had water damage in my home, and I needed help fast. I spoke to my insurance company and they referred me to a company that I never heard of. Various friends told me about ASR Construction, so I contacted them. I can’t tell you how fast they were out to my home, they found the source of the problem and started work on it ASAP. Lots of work needed to be done, and I was afraid my home would not look the same after the damage and after the work that needed to be done. But ASR did a FANTASTIC job, my home looks even better because of them. I can’t say enough good things about ASR, if ever in need of help, contact ASR. Thank you Damon, Gerald, and George, you guys rock.

DO NOT USE THIS CO. We cannot stress enough how unhappy we were after hiring ASR to take care of mold remediation. They will say anything to get the job and then completely contradict themselves after being hired and you become unhappy as a customer. Suddenly our complaints became «our» fault and «we misunderstood» what we were told by ASR! Well the truth is… we were lied to by ASR by them telling us we were mold free after their remediation work when indeed we were NOT. When we sent them pictures (because none of the «Supervisors» came to check their crews work) we were told that the rest of the mold would have been taken care of if we had hired their Co. for Reconstruction! It is clear that ASR doesn’t know what the words «remediation» and «reconstruction» actually mean. It became painfully clear that ASR doesn’t care at all about whether or not they have REALLY taken care of a mold issue or not. They clearly just do the bare minimum and COVER it up enough so people believe them and feel safe. What they really want is the reconstruction part of the job because that is where they make more money. This Co. has caused our family HUGE inconvenience, aggravation, health hazards and has damaged our belongings, our floors, left us without power and treated us with utter disrespect. They have been dishonest, careless and have shown complete disrespect for us and for our home. We now have to hire a different Co. to properly address the situation left from ASR’s failure to do the job properly that they were hired to do. We have never written a negative Unilocal review and felt compelled to do so to save someone else from having to go through what we have.

I contacted ASR construction for a slab leak over the holiday weekend. Turns out there were possibly mold, lead and asbestos issues as the property was over 60 years old. I called out a couple of different plumbers to at least evaluate the issue and they were reluctant to show up and when they did just said you have a major problem and good luck.
I had success with ASR in the past and decided it was time to call in the big guns for the entire project. They had the slab leak fixed within hours and the place contained for any major environmental issues. They continue to work with the insurance company to replace cabinetry, flooring and repair the walls that also had water damage. When you need it all done and done right– then there is only one call to make– ASR! Choose wisely as getting started in the right direction means everything and ASR will get you headed in the right direction.

On December 30^th, I had a river flowing thru my downstairs bathroom, bedroom, laundry room, family room and hallway. This was due to a clogged clean-​out pipe in my front yard that had stoppage from roots of plants. I called ASR and they sent out several people to check out the damage and give me an estimate. I was so traumatized by this whole experience that I couldn’t speak for a couple of weeks. Several guys came here immediately to remove all the damaged walls. A few days later, the re-​built started, and everything was finished in 4 days. The dry-​wallers, carpenters, painters, etc. were all FANTASTIC!!! I never saw such hard-​working, polite guys — they put up plastic sheets from my tile floor to the ceiling and put plastic coverings on my furniture — to prevent dust from entering the other areas of my house. They ripped up the carpet in the bedroom which had water damage — and new carpet will be installed in the next few days. They left my house immaculate. WOW!!! I highly recommend ASR. The project manager was Dan Harrelson. Everything went smoothly with my insurance co. Michelle at ASR also called me a few times to keep me up-​to-​date.
Update: The new carpet was installed a few days ago — and it’s perfect.

Our home insurance agent referred us to various companies within our city but we ultimately went with ASR Construction because of their abilities to get someone to our home within the hour of our call. Quick and professional crew were out evaluating and prepping our rooms and removing all the damages floors; everything was taken care of less than 24 hours from call. As first time home buyers a flood is a scary thing and they answered ALL of our questions.

I cannot say enough great things about my experience with ASR! Every interaction from the receptionist to the technician was pleasant & professional. I’d like to give a special kudos to Damon, who went throughout every step of our issue and advised me on the quickest & most economic way to find a solution. His honesty and diligence has created a loyal customer for life!

When my rental home sustained water damage I was in need of a dependable, quality company to repair the damaged kitchen. ASR professionals stepped in and replaced my damaged wood floor and repaired/​upgraded my cabinetry and counters. In addition, they were informative with the home insurance process and procedures as well which was convenient during a stressful time! Overall, the end product was high quality and looks sharp! I am extremely happy with ASR Construction and they will be my top pick for the next construction project! A+ Rating!

Working with ASR was a pleasure. They were very professional and were able to answer all my questions in timely and efficient manner. I always felt that my opinions were heard and their in-​house staff was very thorough with follow up after services were complete. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

Warning: AVOID THIS COMPANY
Absolutely horrendous — avoid at all cost!!! They were hired by my HOA after a flood situation. I had no chose in the matter otherwise I would of fired them the first day. They cut corners, were rude, ordered incorrect material or over ordered what they needed. It was a complete joke, no exaggeration.
Do yourself a favor and use another company.

I received your private message. FYI — I am not Mr. Powell. I am another very dissatisfied customer. Im not sure if «MIke» the older guy with grey hair was Mr. Powells project manager as he was mine, but let me reiterate; Mike is unorganized, incompetent, dismissive and fundamentally rude. If this guy is a representative of what your company is all about I stand firmly by my assessment.
