National Tire & Battery – NTB

These guys sent me home with no weights on my tires. I live REALLY far away so I was not happy I had to drive home in a shaky car and turn around and drive back the next day. (My car wasn’t ready until closing.) that being said I am giving these guys 4 stars because they took care of the problem quickly and efficiently and put me at the top of the list so I didn’t have to wait three hours to get this rectified. They were apologetic and friendly and that made all the difference to me. And let’s face it, people make mistakes and accidents do happen. How they handled it made all the difference. I love my new Michelin’s, got them through a great tire sale that was going on and after all is said and done I’m very happy with this company and I would definitely use them again.

Found one of my Honda Pilot tires is leaking air slowly recently. Took it to NTB, fairly happy with their service, and price is reasonable. Was told it could take 1 to 2 hours, but actually it just took about 45 minutes on a Sunday after toon. They found the screw in my tire and patched it up. Problem fixed! Paid about $ 33 bucks in total, and I’m leaving as a happy customer.
Btw, I went to Firestone, Tires Plus earlier, they all say I need to wait for next day. Only NTB was there available when I needed it.

Excellent service, very detailed, fair prices.
I was in town for a soccer tournament and noticed on our trip a tire was out of balance. NTB did an excellent job of balancing my tires and checking the other tires messed up by another shop in town (Firestone). I feel NTB went above and beyond servicing my vehicle, I couldn’t have been happier with the service I received and would highly NTB on 119^th.

Do not go to the NTB near 119^th & Metcalf. WORST.PLACE.EVER! I bought new tires from them last year and they jacked up the alignment. I ended up taking my car to the dealership to get it fixed. Then last month, I found a nail in my tire. I took it back to NTB to get fixed. The «technician» recommended I get new all new tires because the flat was not fixable. He said I would be discounted based on how much life my originals tires had. He said I only had 40% life left. keep in mind that I bought the tires last year and have only put about 9000 miles on my car since then. $ 600 later while I was on the highway, the brake light and the ABS lights start flashing. I called them up and they told me to take my car to the nearest NTB. The manager of the NTB off of 84^th & Nieman told me they put the wrong size tires on my car. Altho they took ownership of the problem, they once again jacked up the alignment. I ended up paying an additional $ 80 to have my dealership fix the alignment. What does NTB do to rectify my problem? Absolutely NOTHING. No more NTB for me and my friends and family.

They had a week to order me some tires and forgot. They get one star because I can’t give no stars. Not the NTB of the past, avoid this place like the plague.

Manager insists higher-​priced tire is better.
Academic is selling his car in a few weeks, decides to be safe rather than sorry, pays the extra money.
Walks back to finish watching Arsenal demolish Napoli in Champions League
Comes back to find car done when he returns.
Leaves happy.

Had to break down and get myself some new tires. Shopped around and NTB came in about average to the other places I checked out. The staff was helpful and very kind. Wait time for my car took a tad longer than originally anticipated, but not really a huge deal. Financing options were helpful, though not necessary. Made it a little easier on the bank account. No issues since I drove out of their parking lot!

I went in to this business and no one even acknowledged me for over 15 minutes. They would answer the phone but didn’t ask if I needed something. Felt it was very rude. I left and went somewhere else. Won’t go back.
