This is one of the four bars at One Block South, and definitely a great place to grab a beer and shoot some pool.
The bar has three pool tables and a ping pong table, mixed with a few sofas and the usual bar stools. The tables are decent six foot tables (possibly seven foot — less drinking would have encouraged a better memory of this). The cues like all bar cues could be better, but they were in pretty good shape all considered! I only played on the middle table, but I did notice a slight lean toward one of the pockets (e.g., shoot toward the pocket closest to the front door and you have a better chance of making the shot than normal).
The bar tender was very attentive, and I had no problems getting a beer or closing out my tab. The other patrons were also very good and civil (sometimes a surprise for some pool hall bars).
Overall… I had a good time here and the tables are very good for a bar pool hall.
