U Bella Waxing Studio

I found U Bella through Groupon for a $ 22 Brazilian. The location was in kind of a weird spot & the salon itself was very small. I made an appointment so I went right into the waxing room as soon as I got there which was great. The staff was so friendly! All of the girls were very polite and hospitable. The technician used way too much wax for each strip which irritated my skin in some places. I probably would have been a lot more upset if I paid full price but I felt like I got my money’s worth!

Ruby is amazing! Very sweet and diligent in her work. Took her time and ensured everything was perfect!

Professional staff and wonder clean facilities.
I ask for Luz wonderful experienced women with a great professional personality. I will continue to get waxed by her until she stops ;-) which I hope is a long time away. Her helpful tips on how to keep that area in tip top shape is an added bonus. The prices are normal price range of ($ 50.00) I wish they had more specials (other than a card) for repeat customers –every 3 weeks is my regular schedule.
All the ladies are wonderful and knowledge with waxing two thumbs up for U Bella!

Never noticed this place before, but when my former shop closed I found that my girl came here. What a relief to find her again! Be sure to ask for Luz for all your waxing needs. She makes you feel like you are sipping a cocktail! They do take walk ins, but I strongly recommend an appointment so that you can get the person you want. The hours are extremely flexible and work with any schedule. Nice clean place with friendly staff!

I love this place. Professional staff, clean setting and great results! I usually see Ruby, who is friendly, funny and very thorough. I have so much fun talking to her that the session is over before I know it.
Remember to ask for a frequent visitor punch-​card, which is good for a discount on your 9^th or 10^th visit (I forgot which).
I’ve been to several waxing studios in the Orlando area, and this one sets the bar for professionalism. Be sure to ask for Ruby or Amy. They do great work.

2 stars for an eyebrow wax. Perhaps it’s not their specialty. The esthetician and receptionist were super nice and the place was clean and sanitary, however that’s about all I’ve got for the «pros». I told the esthetician she could take a little more off (I tend to go for slightly thick) and she asked if I wanted more of an arch. «Yes! I do!» Unfortunately, I don’t really feel that I got an «arch.» One of my eyebrows is fine which of course implies that both brows aren’t exactly the same. They are not terribly different (i.e. the differences aren’t readily apparent), and she didn’t take too much off the ends (which drives me insane), but I won’t be going back here for this service. I also noticed that they offer a discount if you review them on Unilocal which is really pushing it on ethics in my opinion. I don’t doubt that the esthetician matters and that they are great for waxes that don’t have shape (brazilians, legs, etc), but I will continue my search.

This was my first time getting a wax and Joan made my first experience very comfortable. She is awesome! Very professional and nice staff and not awkward whatsoever. Definitely recommend Joan at UBella for anyone looking for waxing services in the Orlando area. :)

Great waxing studio! I’ve gone to see Ruby twice now & will be a regular customer. She makes every effort to ensure I’m comfortable and takes the time to answer any questions I have. The studio is clean and the hard wax is definitely the way to go… if you haven’t done hard wax, now’s the time to try it! They also offer a student discount which is super helpful!

I am so glad there is finally a hard waxing saloon in Orlando, and this place is excellent. Very clean, professional and friendly staff. They use excellent wax (no bumps anywhere) and I didn’t feel rushed. My face especially looked amazing, and very clean. They also gave us excellent directions to go back home at peak traffic time. Thank you, I will be back!

This was my first full body with Brazilian wax experience. Joan was wonderful. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease. She took her time and made the hair removal as painless as possible. First time here and I will be returning. The staff was pleasant and salon very clean.

I’ve been at U Bella twice and both times were with Amy. She is the owner and has been courteous and friendly both times. The place is clean and I have no complaints. The prices are ok but I’m used to New York City where the prices are less because their is more competition.

The staff is friendly and does a great job. My wife has finally found a waxing studio that she loves.

This place is the best waxing place in Orlando! Amy has been waxing me for over 7 years and I have never left unhappy! She is a gem and takes great care of her clients! You won’t be disappointed!

I came here for my first Brazilian wax and was pleased with the results and professionalism. Amy explained what she would be doing and to what area before she started to wax. She kept conversation the whole time to avoid any awkwardness and whatever hair remained was removed with tweezers. My skin is not irritated in anyway and even though she went over the same spots a few times, there wasn’t any unnecessary pain or extra redness.
I’d suggest first timers do your homework on length recommended before waxing, etc. Everyone’s skin down there is different so don’t expect one persons experience to be exactly like yours. My hair is thinner so she said the pain would be less and it was totally bearable. Overall good experience. I’ll go back for sure

I went to UBella on the recommendation of a mutual friend of Amy and mine.
I made an appointment with Ruby two days before my wedding against the advice of friends, family and co-​workers. I was worried that I would be red, irritated and it would be noticeable before my wedding. My fears and worries were put aside once the wax was over.
Honestly, I am very sensitive when it comes to waxing and that had me very worried. I was completely at ease and the first time was just SLIGHTLY painful. There was no irritation or redness the next day and the powder and irritation solution they use really works. Not only that but I was told that it would help with any odor. IT DID.
Since then, I have gone back three times. I have told all my friends and family about it and I promised myself that I wouldn’t go back to shaving. Ruby made sure to explain how it would help thin out my hair and how much of a difference waxing makes. I am a believer now. My hair grows back thinner every time and there is less.
This time Ruby wasn’t there but Amy took care of me and she did such a fantastic job too. Not only do they check to make sure that the hair is gone… they comb through with a tweezer to get any stragglers.
Do yourself a favor and stop buying razors!

Literally the BEST wax I have had in years. Any was thorough, clean and super sweet. They are always offering deals and even have a customer reward card. :)

Got rid of Monica. Not a good Brazilian anymore.
The first time I went, I had an appointment with Monica and it was a BLAST! You’d think you’d never describe a Brazilian wax as a «blast» but I was actually laughing the whole time. Monica was very thorough and didn’t leave a hair behind. I was so very happy with the results for weeks.
The second time I saw Amy and my results weren’t as great. She wasn’t as thorough and quite a significant amount was left behind. I feel like the appointment was rushed. I wasn’t as happy, but I still will be going back.
The third time I went, they recognized me from my Unilocal review when I called to make the appointment, which I felt was incredibly unprofessional and creepy. Bad customer service. They insisted I try booking with Amy again, because Monica no longer works there. So I do. The second appointment with Amy was no better, if not worse. Still felt rushed. She even asked me if I wanted a landing strip, and I look down several minutes later to see no landing strip. She apologized, but she didn’t offer any discount. She offered to give me a «vajazzle» for free. Which, honestly, I have no need or desire for one of those things. Id have preferred my landing strip!
Amy goes over areas several times (like 6 – 7 times). Which I know is a huge no-​no and I was really starting to feel sore. And even then not all the hair came out. Both of my waxes from Amy have grown back in much quicker, because hair is getting broken at the surface and not being properly ripped out.
I was told at my last appointment that they offer discounts to those who leave Unilocal reviews — and I know they knew about my review because they made a point of it. But there was no discount offered as I went to check out. Not for the botched wax job or the review. Just a vajazzle that probably costs pennies wholesale. I was just so irritated I wanted to leave without making a scene.
Overall, not the best customer service, and REALLY not the best wax I’ve had. I went 3 times and now I have a good feel of what to expect.

Best waxing studio in town! I would not trust anyone but Amy to wax me. She is great at doing eyebrows too.
