History

Established in 1989.

Performance Ski and Surf’s history dates back to the Fall of 1989 when we opened our original store at 8086 South Orange Blossom Trail. Over the past quarter century we have built our business on the principle of offering the best watersports gear with unmatched customer service before, during and after the sale. Our staff is made up of enthusiasts in the sports we cater towards. With our diverse product mix of products however, we realize that knowing about one sport isn’t enough for them, so we have to constantly work to improve our knowledge in all the products we sell. But remembering the basics is key — relationship selling is what separates my staff from a lot of stores. We preach to them that if they truly care about what they do, about improving the quality of customers’ lives on and off the water, that they can change the quality of our customer’s life and their family’s also.
